Went with my father to adopt a cat to replace our cat of 18 yrs that had passed and was met with reluctance. The associate tried everything he could to prevent or discourage us from adopting a cat. He didn't approach any other person(s) with the line of questions and resistance he presented to us. We were the only people of color trying to adopt and was treated as if we can't afford to care for a pet. Will not recommend to anyone for any reason.

The staff is wonderful and appears to genuinely care for all of the kitties here. If your going to adopt, this is the place to go.

The people at Cat Welfare were very professional and very willing to help a pregnant stray cat in my neighborhood.

Please donate to them. They are also part of Amazon smile's program.

Cats are well taken care of there. Don't have a lot of room and usually only take house cats. Real nice people.

So thankful for the people here. I highly recommend visiting and loving all the furbabies and even thinking about adopting one giving it a furever home ????

Dropped off some blankets for the kittens, a few cat toys, and some anti-bacterial wipes for the staff. They tried to talk us into taking a cat with us, but then that is their job... Great people doing good work.

I donated some cat food here. They were extremely nice and asked if I wanted to come see the cats.

We have now adopted two cats from Cat Welfare. They always have a large (LARGE..hordes of cats basically) selection of cats to choose from. I will echo other reviewers that the place is kept clean despite the number of felines sharing the space. Our latest furever pet, MoonPie, is FIV positive. The association was very upfront about the challenges we would have...basically he is a lot more susceptible to infection so he needs to be an indoor cat. (Which he often objects to strenuously when he sees our dog go in and out with abandon ????) It's about our second month as a two cat home. We look forward to discovering what his personality will be like once he comes out of his shell. EDIT: He is pretty established in the house, LOL. See pics.

My visit to this place was awful. Completely incompetent, and unbelievably rude. The workers make it very difficult to adopt a cat (coming up with many reasons why I wasn’t allowed to). One worker, a tall, curly haired guy was beyond rude.

We just adopted Joey after following him online for almost 6 months and no signs of him getting a loving home. I visited the association a few days ago and met Joey and instantly fell in love! The people there truly love these animals and wish the best for them. They are friendly, informative, and well educated on cat behavior and answered all my questions. They all love Joey so much, so I have a lot to live up to and make sure Joey gets spoiled rotten in his new forever home. In the first hours, he is already walking around and giving me a thousand kisses! I intend on keeping in close contact with the caring staff and sending lots of pictures!

Cat welfare is an amazing animal rescue group, I'd give it 100 stars, if I could. Went with a friend whose kitty died a few months ago and she adopted Winnie, the sweetest 5-year old kitty. Staff is incredibly helpful in suggesting the type of cat personality you're looking for and they allow you to spend some time in the "visitor room" with a kitty you're interested in adopting. This is a great organization, has been around many, many years and I highly recommend them to find just the perfect kitty for you!????

This place has helped me so much. I have been able to help strays and ferals in my neighborhood with their voucher program. They are an amazing organization that cares about the unwanted cats and I can’t thank them enough for all they do. If you can donate to them, I definitely recommend it. They deserve it and those donations help them give care to all the animals they rescue.

I went there 2 years ago after I had lost my dear cat Rocky, and was looking for another ESA. This shelter was so impressive. The people were kind, the facility was big and clean and the cats had choices of places to go. I sat down and a moment later a beautiful black and white cat jumped onto my lap. Joey came home with me the next day and has been a source of joy and comfort to me everyday since. I have cancer and do not expect to live very long and I have asked my friends to take Joe back to Cat Welfare when I die. I believe that he will be well cared for and get lots of pets and hugs until his own time comes. Thank you.

These are good people. More importantly, they are CAT people! The entire facility was so clean and pleasant. Everything was organized, and every person I came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. They take in cats that others would not, and Cat Welfare Assoc is truly a beacon of light that shines over central Ohio. I feel so good about knowing there are people who spend their time, energy, and money helping these animals that the world has turned it's back on. I encourage you to visit their resale shop! (Clean, nice, tons of products and sales...all proceeds go to the cats. Thrifting has never been more wholesome and fun!) Truly blessed that this organization exists. You have a lifelong supporter, and friend, out of me.
