They changed my appointment date WITH OUT TELLING ME!!!! I had the day off to deal with the appt. They want another 3 months to be able to schedule another appt. I will not give my money to some place that will change my appointment day, not tell me about it, expect my money, treat me like it's my mistake when I have the appointment reminder card with the date that I actually set the appointment for, and treat me like my time doesn't matter.

The prices are good the last time I took my dog they told me he needs training and he's not a very good dog. Ok one he's a puppy and a husky at that. I took. Him to rascals animal hospital and they absolutely adore him.I told them how the spayed clinic treated me and him,they were very upset.

Easy pet neutering and vaccines.

They were great with our male lab pups (8 months old). Highly recommend. I had some personality conflict with the drop off tech (but it was early morning and we did as a family so hubby, 7 yo twins, myself and 2 crazy lab pups) but the pick up tech was amazing. The price is fantastic and they are very professional. The pups are 3 weeks out and everything healed as needed/no issues. We also had our cats spayed there 12 years ago and they were just as fantastic.

I have had all 4 of my boys neutered here. They are very friendly and my kitties were very well taken care of. I have recommended them to my friends and family. The cost is less than $70

I've gotten two cats neutered here and they are very good. Thankful there is a vet so reasonable and close.

I got what I paid for. My dog is spayed at a low cost. However, the experience has its bumps. When I dropped off my dog, the older lady at the front desk had an abrupt personality that came across as rude and unsympathetic. I simply asked about picking my dog up earlier rather than later and got snapped at. At pick up, the younger lady was very professional and friendly when giving me my after-care instructions. As for the surgery itself, my dog has 2 skin sutures that are cruciate pattern and are pulling on her skin when she tries to walk. So, my dog has learned not to move to avoid pain and won't get up and walk for 3 days now. There is a pucker to the skin closure. Time will tell if the scar will be raised or flat once the healing is done.

It is cheap but they failed to notify me about additional charges until I got there.

They got my boy in very fast, his incision and sutures look fantastic, sent me home with pain medicine and very clear after care instructions. This place and it’s employees are excellent, not to mention a fraction of the cost!

Very good place for basic services. Took my cat there for vaccinations and neuter surgery. Staff were timely and called me back when needed

Front desk lady with the white hair was extremely rude and felt the need to correct me when she wasn’t even the person I spoke to on the phone when setting up the initial appointment. She felt the need to talk over me and over explain multiple times like I’m some kind of idiot. All of the people waiting inside were shocked, just as I was, at how rude and unprofessional she was. She wasn’t rude to just me. She was rude to everyone. Terrible attitude. It made the air very uncomfortable. I understand that it’s 7:00 in the morning and you might hate your job, but it’s your JOB to be the face of the clinic. Do better. Response to owners reply — I was prepared. I knew what I wanted and did not want for my pet. I did my research. It wasn’t entirely what you said, it was how you said it. Your tone of voice and your face said it all. There were at least 6 other people waiting in the clinic at the time of my check in. The fact that you try to blame your customers before yourself is hilarious. Again, do better.

We have taken our cats to this place for many years. Great care and you can't beat their low prices.

Had my Pomeranian puppy spayed there and staff was awsome!! Cheap operation & recovery time was one day. Would highly recommend for great service at the best price.

I personally wish I could give a bad review, but with my experience, the woman at the front desk was kind, and helped me through the process. They also say that if they find fleas before anything , that they’ll just give them a capsule and u have to pay for it, I have 2 other cats and when I got home after dropping my kitten off, I checked them and no fleas. I’m sure they would have all had them since they are constantly together. Later on After I picked up my kitten from his neuter, I wasn’t given pain meds for him or anything, just a paper and was sent off. Next day he wouldn’t eat or drink and got worse and ended up having to take him to the emergency vet, where I spent a whole night. I had to spend almost 400$ At the emergency vet because my cat had Caught an infection. Now I have to give him meds and hope he gets better. Service at capital city was good, my only problem is, now I have a sick cat. His personality has completely changed, he’s no longer playful or curious. He only sleeps.

They were very busy today but we were still treated well and our appointment took less than an hour for deworming and vaccines x2 cats.

My 4 cats were fixed and all their shots for under 300 bucks with flea treatments and the works... can't complain about that! Staff was awesome, my cats are happy and healthy!

In and out quickly and efficiently

They do an excellent job at caring for animals and are very efficient. They are very busy though, so it's best to make an appointment asap.

We have taken both of our cats here, and both have had clean and reliable care through all surgeries (declaw, neuter, and spay). They are extremely communicative, kind, and professional at this office; they care about your animal as if it was their own, and the owners!!! When we suspected my cat had ringworm because we were experiencing symptoms, the vettech/receptionist called me back after explaining that is not a provided test and explained how to cure MYSELF, in ADDITION to where I should take my cat for treatment. They are MORE than caring at this office and would be ashamed to rate them any less.

What do I like about Capital CIty Grooming, Erin Knoppe!! I've been with Erin for years now. She is a wonderful groomer, very professional and a kind and caring person . I have 2 little dogs that are not easy to groom and she handles them with care and love. They are never stressed after an afternoon with her. When I pick them up they are groomed very well and they are always relaxed. I call that time with Erin their spa date. To me a good groomer is just as important as my other professionals. When you find a good professional you stay with them. I will follow Erin throughout her career and always consider her my go to person. Thank you Erin Knoppe for everything you do to keep my littles looking good and staying healthy!

Erin is VERY unprofessional. I booked a grooming appointment two weeks out and she waited until 45 minutes before my appointment to let me know that I needed copies of multiple vaccines in order for her to groom my dog, which I didn’t have on hand. I even rushed home from work for this appointment for absolutely no reason.

They do a great job and it is so cost effective
