My dog was treated for skin itching , and the vet failed to address the growth on her tail...when I called back the vet said 1600 to remove the growth !!! Why didn't she tell me about this "growth" when my dog was seen two weeks earlier ?/ 1600 ?? I had a very complicated tooth surgery done by a different vet- much more involved..for 600. This vet charges 65 for an office visit--and is wayyyy over priced on everything. UNPROFESSIONAL-uncaring, stay away.

Brought a pet there to be checked out due to strange behavior and was prescribed meds. After spending out nearly $400 and giving my pet the prescribed meds, she died hours later after becoming extremely lethargic and unresponsive from the meds. Then they didn't even have the decency to even offer a small discount on the cremation. If my usual vet was available, I would of never brought my animal here and I will never bring any animal to this place ever again. Overall, only being your animal here if you want it to die.

Dr. Knapp and Dr. Ramsey are the BEST! They are incredible at what they do and very compassionate. The staff is also friendly, kind and empathetic. It's difficult being a Vet right now-there are staff shortages everywhere-so please be kind to them.

The staff is amazing. They are very good with all the animals. Dr. Ramsey is thorough. He listens to the concerns of the pet parents. Love his bubbly personality.

Looks sketchy from the outside but they do a good job. They don't try to screw you over with things you don't need. They are very upfront with costs and options for your pets. Dr. Ramsey has always been very thorough with his explanations, takes time to answer any questions, and has done a good job with my dogs.

We started taking our beloved pup here after realizing what a racket vets can be. Dr. Paul seemed to provide the best care without outwardly robbing you blind and never left you feeling guilty for not having 7 million dollars to spend on vet care. We sought care at this clinic for years and loved dr Paul and dr Kelly. However things have truly taken a turn for the worst here at this clinic. After a 3 month ordeal and misdiagnosis we had to have our sweet pup laid to rest a year ago. Which honestly I can forgive because I can’t imagine how hard it is to tell what is wrong with a little being who can’t communicate. What I can’t look past though is when I call for an appointment for a somewhat urgent matter and they can’t see my sick puppy for TWO WEEKS. I pride myself on being an outwardly friendly and kind human being and Dr. Paul’s staff is the opposite of that. Every single one of them with the exception of dr Paul is rude lacks compassion and is just downright not helpful. I highly suggest going else where if you are looking for compassionate quality care. Here you will only be met with rudeness and nastiness. When asked if there were any emergency appointments available for an already established patient I was met with just plain rude behavior. How am I supposed to trust my animals with these people when they can’t even be kind to a human?! Will absolutely not be returning and seeking care elsewhere.

Our dogs have always received excellent care. For as long as they are in my area, they will remain our primary veterinarians.

Dr. Ramsey and Dr. Knapp are the best. Nothing but the most empathetic, kind, and well educated vet care for all animals. I have trusted them with all of my kids for years... I am lucky to have them.

Let me be clear: I do not owe any balance with this vet. While we love Dr. Ramsey and his wife, his staff leaves a LOT to be desired. We stopped going there in 2015-2016 due to the staff. Both my SIL and myself have had very unpleasant experiences with their staff. We have both called the staff with feral kitties that were dumped by their mothers or rescued and we told more than once that we should just "put the kitten down". There was an elderly lady that used to work the front desk as well as a male worker and we have been told this by both of them. The elderly lady was extremely rude and her bedside manner was non-existent. Today, I called in to get my cats medical records (yes, one that we were told to "put down". He had Perineal Urethostomy surgery here and I needed to get his records because we now go to a different vet. Get this: they will not send me his records! They will ONLY send records to another vet. We have a right to obtain our pet records as this is a service that we have paid for. Not only that, pet insurance REQUIRES former medical records when a claim is made. This is ridiculous and completely ridiculous. We will be reporting this to the American Veterinary Medical Association.

There aren’t enough kind words to describe the passion and love this clinic has. The staff, techs and doctors are unbelievably kind and nurturing to their clients and there isn’t one single complaint with their service to our 20 year old leopard gecko Rexy that we had to put down. The clinic was so accommodating to his needs and amazed us with their care for him that made him live 20 beautiful years. THANK YOU TEAM, we love you !

Awesome trustworthy and caring vet. Came for my pet rat "Rosie" to remove a tumor and they took care of her as she was one of their own pets! I'm so thankful I brought them here and I will always come to them for any pet medical needs. My baby was fine the next day and very active it took all my anxiety away knowing she was being taken care of so well and Rosie is very thankful also and she's very active now without that extra weight from the tumor. Thank you guys ???? Dr.Knapp was awesome I knew reading her bio I could trust her and the staff is also very friendly. Receptionist was great ????

I love this vet!!! They truly care about animals. I like that they give a quote in advance and always take the time to explain things. I had to bring my cat back in a second time because her symptoms worsened. They gave me a discount on services and even refunded unopened food my cat didn't like.

I have really struggled with how to write this review. I am new to the area having relocated here from the west coast mid June. I took my 3 year old german shepherd to Dr. Ramsey for a check-up after we arrived in town to see about taking her off of a prescription for incontinence. He seemed nice enough and so when Gracie got sick a few weeks later I took her back to Dr. Ramsey - worst mistake I could have ever made. My Gracie didn't have much of an appetite on Monday - less on Tuesday and would barely eat on Wednesday so I called and they got me in Thursday morning. Dr. Ramsey advised that Gracie had a fever, her kidneys were not functioning properly and her pancreas was inflamed. He was not happy to hear I had her on a raw diet (that she had been on her entire life) and he immediately told me that I should be putting her on Science Diet that would help to heal her kidneys and pancreas! Explaining that I could not just switch I asked if he had some of the Science Diet that I could take home and try for her and he said yes. When the vet techs walked her out they came with a big bag of dry food NOT a sample to try and advised that it was one of 2 bags the other would be available for pick up in a few days. Really I was shocked but, took the food. Gracie had 5 prescriptions to get started on and they had me scheduled to bring Gracie back on Saturday and Monday to get fluids and re-test. On Saturday her fever had gone, her kidneys were functioning but her pancreas was worse. She had literally stopped eating. Now, the Dr. was pushing wet food for her and telling me to water it down and give it through a syringe - which again I tried doing. Forcing pills and forcing food through the syringe was very stressful for Gracie and me of course. But, she continued to not eat and was getting worse. I took Gracie back to Ramsey on Wednesday where they gave her more fluids and kept her for the afternoon on IV fluids - when I picked her up they said to call if I needed anything. I said that I needed a plan of action what they were doing was NOT helping my girl and the vet tech just said - let us know if you need more food!!! On Friday morning I called another vet who told me that Gracie needed 24/7 care and recommended me to 3 clinics - I got her in immediately - sadly on Saturday morning they advised that Gracie's only chance to possibly survive was to take her to Med Vet in Akron to see a specialist - she had to be carried out to my car and taken into Med Vet on a stretcher - where I learned she was in advance stages of Pancreatic cancer. Mostly likely had been fighting on her own for a long time! So, I had to let her go that afternoon! My feeling here is that Dr. Ramsey milked me for what he could charge me for - for as long as he could - he was OVER his head and didn't have the capacity to help Gracie but, did not direct me elsewhere! My heart breaks at the thought of the stress Gracie went through in those 10 days - losing 12 lbs. On Friday before taking her to the hospital I called back to Dr. Ramsey crying that my pup was dying and asking for help. The receptionist advised that the doctor was off for the weekend but, the dr. covering would call me around 10 am. - while in route to the hospital the receptionist called me and advised that the doctor covering had a full schedule so she would not be calling me till after 2 pm - I said I was on my way to the hospital and didn't need a call back. That doctor did call back later at 10 pm - how, awful - my dog was dying and they didn't have 5 minutes to call me and try to help! Ultimately, I believe that Gracie would have still passed - but, she did not need to suffer the way she did. I called back the Monday after Gracie passed and told them I would not be picking up the rest of the food they had sold me and to credit my card back - and before hanging up I said "not that you asked how Gracie is - but, you may want to tell Dr. Ramsey that Gracie didn't make it! " The receptionists response was "Ok" - not, I'm so sorry, or I'm very sorry for your loss - just OK!
