Edit: it has now been two year since I purchased out Invisible Fence and a second Invisible Fence system for my parents house. The both our systems are currently down and the appointments to get them looked at are 3-4 months out. …

We are training our dog on the invisible fence, and the trainer who we worked with this week (Scott) was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, patient, responsive, and understanding. He explained things in a way that I understand and can put in place with my dog. Scott gets rave reviews from me!

We have had Invisible Fence at our last 2 homes and had them install a fence at our new home on 11/1/21. We also ungraded one of our collars at the same time. Today, 11/5/21, I found the battery pack laying in the yard. It came off the new collar. I can only surmise that the battery pack was not put on the new collar tight enough. I couldn't find the prongs so I called Invisible Fence of Northeast Ohio. Told them what had happened and I needed replacement prongs as soon as possible so we could use the fence. They said they would send new prongs but if I wanted them shipped overnight I would have to pay for that. I really expected more. I really thought they would offer to overnight the prongs so I could use the collar. I could understand paying for overnight shipping if it was something I did to the collar. But if the collar was put together properly by the technician, the battery pack would not have fell off the collar in 4 days! I guess getting the collar operational as soon as possible wasn't as important to Invisible Fence as it was to me. UPDATE Got the the prongs the next day! Someone at Invisible Fence realized how important these were to the customer and did overnight them at no charge to me. That's customer service. Thank you!

DO NOT get the nylon collars! I love invisible fence and have been a costumer for 10+ years. However when I got a new dog that needed a smaller size the solid color nylon collar they gave me was horrible! It began to fray very quickly and it stretched out making the collar too loose and ineffective. Cosmo went right through the barrier because it had stretched out so much. Luckily she is well trained and came back when called. I have 2 systems with a collar for both system so I have to buy 2 new collar straps. I cannot believe the poor quality from a name brand company. Extremely disappointed!

I have been with invisible fence for 8 years. In the spring of 2021 I purchased another receiver because we added another dog. Now mind you this is the 7th dog with the invisible fence system. My son has the same unit and 3 dogs that come over and use the invisible fence. Having 3 acres and lots of dogs invisible fence worked very well . Until….. batteries started lasting about 2 weeks when it should last 3 mos. Tool the collars in question to a local invisible fence dealer, oh your dogs are getting too many hits that’s why the batteries are dying after several replaced batteries, I was told your wire is older and unfortunately probably comprised by moles are mice chewing. Ok laid new wire. Did not fix the problem. Had several reps out fiddled with the box, replaced batteries and said your system is working fine . Two weeks later my Irish wolfhound is running down a road that’s a 50mph street and another dog in the neighbors yard. Trainer comes out replaced the batteries. Some advice , keep the collars tight it’s not jewelry can’t be flopping up and down- not that it ever was. Few weeks later batteries are dead. Well it must be something in your house draining the batteries. Went on a search to figure that out to no avail. Now we’re in mid summer. Call invisible fence and I ask for a supervisor, I get a supervisor who says gee I am so sorry you had all this trouble. As a courtesy we will replace all three dogs batteries for 1 year. Never something I would have even asked for let alone think of. Batteries came quick few weeks later dead again. Called back,, finally someone with some common sense said sounds like the receivers. Sent out 3 batteries and 2 replacement receivers. Now here we are 3 mos later - where are the replacement batteries I was told I would get. Called invisible fence today and spoke with a rep who said I will have a supervisor call you back in 15-30 min. No call. I call back get a supervisor named Kevin who by the way has no one above him but a Lauren R with no ph # no ext but an address. I have no faith this is an address for Lauren R. 10427 pet safe way knoksville TN 37932 because the conversation about the one yr of batteries for my inconvenience never happened. So therefore over 9 batteries I’m selling my invisible fence disks, collars and box. I purchased pet safe back in April with 3 collars anyway but when they tried to appear if they were helping I stayed the coarse. I do not recommend this over priced company who does not stand by there word. Good bye invisible fence

Updated next day... I stand corrected!!! Invisible Fence called this morning and had two VERY kind and skilled technicians here within hours! The break was found in less than a half hour and both Tom and Sean very kindly played with our puppy and gave her a new ball! Thank you, thank you! Never left a review before but I am so taken aback at the inaccessibility of service. Our fence is compromised somewhere in the line that we cannot find. I called to take advantage their marketed high quality service and repairs only to be given a repair date of November 1st. It's August 10th. We buy our fences to keep our dogs safe only to have them exposed for almost 3 months.

Had a service tech come out in June who gave us a diagnosis of the problem but needed to set up another appt for repairs. No follow up. Called multiple times after, no follow up. Just called again, soonest available tech appointment is now October 18…it’s July 27. 3 months? Ridiculous. How are that many people in front of me? So I guess I’ll wait. Hopefully my dogs won’t run out into the yard and injure themselves or someone else. My family has had invisible fence products for over 35 years. What the heck.

I posted a review previously, expressing my concern over the long wait time to schedule a service call. When I had called the 800 number, the first available appointment was 10 weeks later. I was frustrated and posted a review expressing that. (I can't find the original review to amend it). UPDATE: The manager of the Chesterland office (Scott) called me directly, and came out to my home (a two-hour drive for him!) just a few days later. He quickly assessed the problem and made the repair necessary. Thank you! Now our dog can enjoy the summer outdoors!

Our Invisible Fence is not working. Just called to schedule a service call. First available appointment is June 23rd, it's currently April 27th (57 days from now). Management cannot even call me back for 24 to 48 hours. I would recommend checking product reviews and making a better choice than I did.

I had originally had given invisible fence a five star rating; however, after my last experience I would not recommend going with this company. My line was broken at the beginning of the year and I called to schedule an appointment - I …

* I am amending this review as Scott, the manager of the local office gave me a call to rectify this situation this morning. He was kind, offered up a timely solution before his shift is even set to begin this week. I greatly appreciate his willingness to make right a situation that a call center out of this area mishandled. Thank you, Scott. I have been a customer for over 2 years and as a general rule am pleased with the system itself and have never had anything other than a pleasant interaction with all of the trainers and technicians. I have, however, had what I consider to be unacceptable wait times for service calls. For instance, I called first thing this morning to request a repair call and can not get someone to my home for OVER a month. In the meantime, I have no backup containment system to keep my pets safe and within their boundaries, beside a busy road. The whole reason I chose Invisible Fence was because I was sold on their promise of timely customer service and family feel. There has yet to be a time that I’ve requested a call that I’ve waited less than over a week. Is that poor time management? Is it poor overall management? Who is to say? While I understand this is their busy season and they are eager to get more customers under their belt, the lack of consistent, timely service for existing customers is not cool. You aren’t exactly taking care of the folks who put their trust in you if you can’t keep their pets safe and show up in a reasonable amount of time.

Invisible Fence has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I would suggest to anyone to look for another company

A year into the pandemic and i have 3 invisible fence employees on my property talking to me without masks on. This right off the bat made me uncomfortable & made me feel like invisible fence doesn’t care about me as a the customer. I’ve been with them for 4 years, I’ve referred them to many people, but not anymore.

In my opinion, this company does not care about Dogs. I asked them to come out and increase the voltage on my dogs collar since he was running through the fence. They set it so high he’s getting corrected in the house! My dog is scared to come into the house and Invisible Fence truly could care less. When I called to have them come back out they told me they couldn’t come for a month! Leaving my poor dog to be scared of the house and get corrections in the house. We took the collar off but my 3 year old let’s him out leaving us in a total panic about the dog! Terrible company! Unimpressed! Plus, if you call to talk to executive management they will not connect you nor tell you names. In my opinion, they don’t care about animals.

Very happy with our experience! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because a different trainer comes every time and no notes , digital or otherwise, to reference. Very professional and each trainer cared very much about each dogs success!

Thanks for coming during the "official window." Chris was very helpful and we solved the perimeter problem in just a few minutes. My dog did not need training but I had been worried about the wiring. Chris Gray solved the problem immediately. Suzanne Blaser

Technician Chris Gray was terrific. He quickly determined there was a minor problem with the wiring near the power source and did not charge me the full price for a repair.

Great product, staff and customer support even long after the sale. Our fence went down due to a break and I contacted them to see when I could get it repaired. There was a miscommunication but I was contacted by the owner who went out of his way to make sure that things were great for my dogs and my family. Since the fence is back up my dogs are back to running wild without me slowing them down! Thank you all very much!

We drove 35 minutes to come get our dogs' collars adjusted. We arrived 2 minutes after closing. When I texted the manager he turned around after he had already left to come help us. Thank you Scott!

I couldn't be more pleased with the employees and product of Invisible Fence of NE Ohio. Scott Munson went above and beyond to make sure our dog was protected and that our fence was working properly after a storm.

Great experience. Trainers were very good with our 5 month old puppy (yellow lab). Patient and covered every question we had. Explained how the invisible fence works and the equipment. Each training session was personalized just for us and our puppy. They weren't in a hurry at all, and took their time with us. Highly Recommended.
