Family Vet Care Center Bethel Park, Ohio

My 15 year old cat got very sick very suddenly, and Family Vet Care Center took us in the same day I called to make an appointment for him. We saw Dr. Tuttle who was so thorough and did all the testing we wanted. We talked through all of our options, and all of us decided the best thing was to euthanize our cat. Dr. Tuttle and our vet tech Alex were so amazing throughout the whole experience. This was my first time losing a pet, they explained the process step by step and were so supportive for my cat as well as myself and my husband. I am so grateful that they made the end so comfortable and peaceful for my sweet boy.

They care for my three dogs and are exceptional!

Dr Amanda is wonderful she is Lucy favorite! All the staff is always so helpful, kind and loving ! We had our Boston have some stomach issues and they helped us figure out she allergic to Chicken. We won’t be going to any other vets!!!

The vets & staff are wonderful. They truly care about your pets! They are pleasant & easy to work with. There is also an app you can use to make appointments or send messages. I trust them 100% with my babies.

Took my newly adopted dog here for the first time and was a little nervous. The staff was excellent and answered all of my questions and I could tell they really cared about the animals not just selling services and supplements to me. Highly recommend!

I usually don’t leave reviews on anything.. but this Vet clinic seriously goes above and beyond. They fit my pug in for the next day with a last minute emergency sick visit. Never have been there before, as well. The Veterinarian, Dr. Madeline Leidy, was the nicest most down to earth person ever! Very honest and up front. I would recommend this clinic to EVERYONE!! Thank you!!!!!????

I called to have my dog seen very last minute. They were able to fit him in that afternoon (amazing!) He was anxious and sick but the team handled him so well despite the challenges. My husband didn’t accompany me to the appointment and they were patient in answering his questions over the phone before we purchased a long term solution for our pup. 10/10 recommend this team! They were responsive, kind, and patient. Overall very impressed

I have nothing but good things to say about Family Vet Care Center. They saw my sick little dog when my regular vet wouldn't. So now Family Vet is our regular vet! They are friendly, caring and professional. I won't go anywhere else.

Reposting since they deleted my review, seems like they only keep the 5 star- interesting... "Diagnosed" my cat without running any tests at our very first appointment with them as a follow up from an urgent care for a UTI. The vet told me I needed to put my cat on an all prescription food diet- again after no diagnostic testing was done, for his first and only UTI. Told me I needed to come back for testing, which they knew ahead of time they wouldn't be able to do that day. Instead of calling to let me know and rescheduling, they told me at the appointment. I basically went in to be told to come back later and given 4 cans of cat food that may or may not help, since again, no diagnostics were done. I received conflicting instructions from the vet and the vet tech when I voiced my concern that an entirely prescription diet for the next 16 years of my cat's life seemed excessive for a UTI that didn't result in a blockage just after we moved. The vet seemed certain of a permanent switch and the tech told me it was just the 4 cans. When I tried to get more information on test they would be running, I was given a noncommittal response by the vet tech. The vet kept pushing prescription food as the only option and encouraged me to feed it to my other cat who has absolutely no issues and hasn't been seen at their practice. They were more than happy to sell me prescription food off their website. Felt like a cash grab, got very little clarity around my cat's health, and none of my questions answered. Went to a lovely pet store later in the day where I got more information around diet and lifestyle changes than I did at this vet. I wouldn't recommend this practice, seems like there was a reason they had open appointments when other vets didn't. 4 cans of cat food is only 2 1/2 days worth of food if fed exclusively which won't last the amount of time before the testing appointment? 0/10 wouldn't recommend, hope you guys can learn to care more about pets than your reputation.

I've (my cats) have had some pretty unpleasant experiences with vet's in the area, until now. Great location with plenty of parking. The office and exam rooms are clean, welcoming and do not have the quintessential "veterinary office smell." The employees are friendly and provide such great care. I am so happy that we found Family Vet Care Center!

I took my dog to Family Vet Care Center for an ear infection. Dr. Leidy explained - in very welcomed detail! - all the steps we could take to solve the root of his problems. She offered me many options and was so kind and patient with my questions. The entire staff made me, and my dog, extremely comfortable throughout a stressful visit. I would recommend Dr. Leidy & the amazing staff at Family Vet Card to anyone!

My cat needed to be looked at and Family Vet Care Center was able to get a same day appointment. Everyone else was booked weeks in advance. I am very pleased with the service provided.

I have been a client for about a year. I cannot say enough good things about his practice. The staff is amazing; compassionate, friendly, responsive and genuinely care about their patients and clients. I have had the pleasure of seeing each of the vets and all are awesome. I especially love the app that they offer. I can request appointments and chat with the staff and doctors. It's so much better than calling with questions, overwhelming the person answering the phone, and then waiting for a call back from a doctor. My children and I had to make the terrible decision to let our beloved doggie go this past week and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. They supported me as the grieving owner and were so kind and gentle with my dog. I am grateful for this practice, especially Dr Della Penna, and would highly recommend.

The folks there took such good care of our dog. Everyone we spoke with was kind, polite and knowledgeable. The veterinarian took time to explain everything she was gonna do and what she felt was best needed for our dog. We will definitely be going back there for all of our dogs veterinarian care!!

When our cat first got sick, I frantically was calling around trying to get her an appointment right away. Everyone turned us away except for Family Vet Care Center. They squeezed us in and we were able to get an appointment within the hour! After that, anytime we needed advice or a quick appointment, they were there for us.
