This place is great. Friendly staff and the owner is great to do business with.

I have gotten hamsters from here when I was little, I got a Guinea pig from there about 5-6 years ago and she had just passed this year. I got a bearded dragon from here this year and he is absolutely amazing. The staff if friendly and helpful also. It would be nice to have a website to see what everything is priced as, apart from animals. I think you should go in the store to see them and the pricing since there is so many different animals. I feel like it would be easier to look online at prices for things. Not necessarily to order the stuff but sometimes it's easier instead of going into the store just to see how much something is. Not hate and everything is well in there!!

First photo is the half dead axolotl I saved from here. She sustained permanent injuries from her time there. Her growth was stunted. She had ammonia burn on her entire body and her gills had been burnt off. It’s amazing she was able to breathe. She was in immense pain. These guys are masters or regeneration and she still hasn’t fully recovered. She had impaction from consuming the gravel in the tank. She was starving because she had been eating the rocks and couldn’t pass them. I was told when I saved her that they didn’t have the time or resources to properly care for them and that they would never get more in. They told me they couldn’t sell her with any sort of warranty and there would be no refunds as they couldn’t garentee she’d survive the week And now this. A baby axolotl, one inch long. If you know anything about axolotls or did the littlest bit of research you’d know they cannot be on sand until they are at least three inches long. The sand causes impaction. Causes them to feel full until they slowly starve to death. I brought this up to the two ladies working and was completely blown off. Being told “well I have one at home and it’s fine” I have one at home too. One that has permanent damage from your negligence. Do better. I will never support this location again. Please feel free to share your experience in the comments and if you need more evidence of negligent, read their reviews. Enough is enough. UPDATE: Some wonderful lady with axolotl experience went and bought him. We had her test the water he came in. The water contained ammonia with very low nitrates. That means the tank was not cycled or chemically safe and he would’ve been burnt and suffered just as badly as mine and many before

Been shopping here for years the pet store employee and owner is very kind and understanding even on bad days, most pets are okay and live awhile too sometimes you find a sick or injured animal, but that’s any pet store due to things happening through shipments etc, :3 there aswell understanding when you take the animal to get looked at to see if it will live through or not. It’s very busy when they have time to assist they usally know we’re to look immediately for you too, hade some lizards and frogs for awhile from them.

Very simple easy to find what your looking for.

Friendly staff. They saw us outside but was not open yet. They unlocked the doors and opened early. Which kept me on schedule. My granddaughter got her fish. And everyone is happy.

I'm so glad that Ashtabula has a pet store. The employees are great, happy and helpful. They have a great supply for a smaller store.

A bit pricey especially for certain things. They definitely do not have much of a selection for animals. If your looking for something an exotic pet store or even pet smart has more then what they are offering

Always loved coming here. My fur baby loves the groomers there and the groomers are so friendly. They always have a huge selection of things which makes its easier when living in a small town

They have pretty decently priced everything from fish to snakes to geckos to ferrets. Everything. They sell all kinda of pet stuff.
