Awesome veterinary!! Kind helpful they quickly got my cat in,Dr.Solemsaas is patient and thorough

All my appointments have been called on time and staff is very pleasant....great place.

Scheduled an appointment for my dog to have his entropian eye looked at and a surgery Scheduled asap and they gave me a vet tech and the vet would not come in without another appointment a month later and the surgery wouldn't be Scheduled until after that. Can cause blindness and irreparable cornea damage, do not use this vet. I have lived in minot for 40 years and the newer vets are hot garbage. Go to west Oakes if you can or Bismarck if you care about your animals.

Everything was clean and professional! I definitely recommend vet tech Cheryl she was very soft handed and my dog loved her from the moment she walked in the room. Very sweet and down to business kinda gal will be asking for her again!

*update* a little after posting the below review, they called me and basically threatened my cats that if they had a medically emergency I wouldn’t be able to bring them there anymore . I was planning on switching, but man that’s an interesting costumer service process, threatening the animals they are supposed to help. This is not a great vet, they are hard to work with. I just moved here and they were the only vets with opening so I decided to go despite the bad reviews and they honestly deserve their reviews. They were hard to make appointment with and I tried to get my cats some revolution flea and tick through chewy because they had previously been given it and they kept denying it and being rude. Instead of calling to figure out the issue they just deny it and let chewy charge you. I had a great vet in Utah and I’m pretty disappointed with the quality here

this is the second time an pet of ours has passed away because of the lack of care here, despite what it says on their sign. i urge fellow pet owners in the area to find any other veterinary hospital, because they can not be worse than pinkerton

Our puppy just got fixed; everything went great and he is healing well. Even though it was a tough day for him I could tell he liked the people who cared for him. They use appropriate covid protocols

Maybe if it was free? That would be better. However, barring that, no suggestions for improvement.

I have always been very happy with the care here. Dr. Schoenberg is my dog's main vet and she is always EXCELLENT. We have seen Dr. Rabe as well and liked her also. I would recommend Pinkerton Animal Hospital to anyone!

We’ve been consistently happy with the care our pup receives here. With the PetDesk app that they use, setting up appointments and getting prescription refills has been very convenient for us. Always love to see businesses utilizing tech to improve their services Some other reasons we like Pinkerton: During the height of COVID, when they picked up dogs at vehicles, I explained how our dog got incredibly nervous when strangers approached our car and the vet tech was very accommodating - she instead shot us a call when they were ready for him and allowed us to walk our pup to the vet tech in the parking lot - total breeze! Our pup also has general anxiety/separation anxiety that he takes medicine for. For the most part he is typically scared of most things and keeps his tail tucked at vets/groomers… But all the vet techs/vets we’ve met at Pinkerton make it very easy for him as he seems to quickly warm up to the employees here. Especially since they always take a moment to greet him and make him feel a little more at ease. As a helicopter dog mom, I have no problems taking our pup, Fosko, here.

I recently moved to the area and one of my dogs was coming up due for his wellness exam. Pinkerton was able to see us, which I am grateful for, because I know how busy vet clinics have been lately. The techs were wonderful and Dr. Raby was excellent as well! I'm grateful they were able to accommodate my laundry list of requests for my golden retriever, and everything was done in a timely manner. I will definitely be using their vet care for both of my dogs going forward!

Recently our cat, Izze, had an emergency. Her regular vet couldn't get her in, and every other vet we called turned us away because she wasnt an established patient. Pinkerton understood that Izze needed emergent care and went out of their way to see her within hours. They truly gave her the best care and kept us informed during her hospital stay. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

I had trouble finding a veterinarian who would neuter my less than one year old guinea pig. Pinkerton scheduled me with Dr. Ron Thunshelle, who did an excellent job explaining the risks and alleviating concerns I had. My guinea pig came back home alert and in good spirits with some metacam for pain for the next two days. He had two clean, tiny incisions which appear to have been closed with surgical glue. No infection has presented in the two weeks post operation. Price was very reasonable and less than I had expected. Would recommend this veterinarian and use his services again.

Leaving Minot made me realize how terrible this animal hospital is. They only want your money and don’t communicate any real needs the pets have. Never declaw your cat and never see Kris Solemsaas. Also make sure doctors and technicians are on the same page.

Fantastic staff and I trust them with my pets that's what matters the most !

Took my sister's dog in they seemed nice enough

Staff was very friendly and vet was very thorough

They used to be a good vet. But they have been going downhill. The breaking point is when I made a appointment with them a month in advance, then I drove 2 hours for this appointment. I got both email and text reminders that I had the appointment and I confirmed it. I arrived and they said "I didn't have a appointment set up". I supplied them with proof that I did indeed have a appointment and all they could say is, they are busy and maybe they can fit me in, but it is going to be a while. As someone who has gone here for years, this absolutely disgusted me. If I could give zero stars, I would.

100% professional in all aspects of veterinary care and the needs of their clients!!! Staff is friendly and always answered my questions and assisted wherever and whenever necessary!!! Much love...????❤????

They saved my sweet Piglet (my puppy who was hospitalized for a week with them) & not only that, they were AMAZING at keeping me updated on her condition Morning & Night, sent me pictures & videos. They were up front about the cost & details of her care she would be receiving. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Forever grateful for the caring staff who took care of my little girl ????

Long-time local business, great doctors, and very professional.

Scooter was behaving poorly. My vet calmed him down, was able to give him his shots and we set our next appointment.

I've gone twice. The first time no one was allowed inside due to covid. This time I went in July, and 1 masked person could accompany their pet. Both times the staff was nice and patient with my 2 cats.

Expensive, slow, overbooked. They will choose the most expensive options to suck every dime out if you.

Dr Thunshelle and staff (particularly Jen) are top notch and provide exceptional service and care! We won't take our precious fur babies anywhere else!

They answered all my questions without making me feel like I was bothering them. They were appropriate with my lil Chexies nervousmess and you could see he was getting more comfortable as the visit went on ! They never tried to sell me a bunch of overpriced extras. I appreciate that they were considerate of our Chexie and his needs! THANKS GUYS!!!!
