Called to see what they’d charge to spay and clean my dog’s teeth. They said $300. When I went to pick her up it was SIX HUNDRED! Gave me one wrong medication, charged me for two of the other and totally forgot another. Staff weren’t efficient. Lady didn’t know how to remove the staples when I went back so I had to do it. Overall a horrible experience

Took my 11 yr old golden to Dr. Taylor because she had a mass on her spleen. He quoted me 2500 and I asked if he could work with me on that. He said lets not worry about that right now and focus on getting her well. I put a down payment of $1K towards her surgery. I was thrilled that I had found a compassionate/loving vet! He did surgery the next day and she died on the table. We told DR. Taylor we were having her cremated, and the office took care of the arrangements. Emma came back yesterday and I was told that I could pick up Emma when I paid the remainder of the surgery bill which was 1349. DR. Taylor was no longer willing to work with me on the bill since Emma died I guess. Very disappointed in a vet who would hold your pets remains and show no lack of compassion. Will not use again and my daughter is leaving his practice as well.

So glad we found this office. After thousands of dollars and multiple procedures on my dogs ear by another office, Dr. Taylor was able to do surgery AND treat the infection with 1 visit. We had been told for 2 years it was allergies, turns out it was not. I am so thankful for him and his staff. They were very knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Taylor took the time to explain the cause of the problem ( which had never been told to us before) as well as how to treat and prevent it from coming back.

Sadly, our 7 year old miniature schnauzer had a stroke. When we brought him in for diagnosis and decision making, the staff was compassionate and patient. They have been out vet for 4 years, and we have always been grateful for their assistance.

Once again, I want to thank Dr Taylor for always taking such great care of our babies. It's not every Vet that takes the time to personally call and explain things. We are very thankful to have such a fantastic Vet so close to us!!!

Dr. Taylor and his staff are awesome! We’ve had nothing but great experiences with our full house of dogs. They’re professional and compassionate & they’re more affordable than most other vets. I 100% recommend The Neighborood Vet!

Either this vet is uncaring about your pet, or he has absolutely incompetent office staff. (If it's office staff, he still doesn't care, or he would fire the office staff responsible.) I brought my dog to this location for an eye infection. I was prescribed antibiotics and an eye ointment. They only had half the amount of the expensive prescribed ointment, but said I could pick up the other tube the next week after I had used the first. I paid for the office visit and all medications (including the 2nd tube of ointment) at the time of the visit. Since the office hadn't called by the time I got close to using up the first tube of ointment (which WAS improving the infection in my dog's eye) I called. They said it hadn't come in yet, and to call back in 2 days. I stopped in 2 days later and was given a different tube of ointment that was NOT the same ingredient as the first. (Likely a cheaper product, even though I had paid for the other product at the time of the first visit, and this is NOT a cheap medication at nearly $60 each. The initial visit with the medications was over $160) I don't know if the staff lied that they couldn't get the actual prescribed medication, or if they were simply too lazy or incompetent to order the correct medication. After switching to the new medication, the infection stopped improving and began to slowly get worse over the next week. I called the office on Tuesday morning at 10:15 to speak to the vet about the worsening condition on 2nd tube of the different product after a week. I was told I would get a return call very shortly. On Thursday morning at 9:30, after receiving no call-back from the vet, I called to tell them that I had called Tuesday morning, had not received a call-back from the vet and was going to be finding a new vet for my pets. The office staff offered nothing in the way of an apology or explanation as to why my call was never returned. If you want to risk your pet's health on an office that doesn't care about you or your pet, feel free to give your money and support to this office.

Wasted money paid to an uncaring veterinarian office. Spend your money and trust your pet's health to someone else, someone who is competent and cares.

Dr. Taylor and his staff are awesome. I was taking my dog to another local vet in Walkertown and I did not care for the way the man treated my dog. The Neighborhood Vet worked me into their schedule the same day I called and removed my dog's infected eye the next day. The prices were reasonable and I really, really like the staff and the vet! Bring your fur babies here!

At first I liked going here. They are cheaper than most in this area. And they accept care credit. But the office is ran by teenagers who don’t know what they’re doing. I had lab work done on my little guy to test his liver function after being on new medicine for seizures. It took 2-3 weeks of calling to get any kind of information from the lab work. And when I got it they told me the bare minimum. Come to find out, the vet I take my dogs to now got the lab work and said my dog should be dead with the dangerously low levels. I’ll never take my dogs back here. I’ll pay double to know my babies are in good hands vs going here because it’s cheaper. You get what you pay for.

I called around to multiple vets for dew claws/neuter/ and happy tail. Neighborhood vet quoted me $350 for ALL 3. We decided on them even though it was a 35min drive 1 way for just dew claws and neuter. Since they recommend we waited til our dog was 6months and have everything done under one anesthesia, clearly only doing 2 out of the 3 procedures the price should be cheaper. I was quoted $155 plus taxes and medication, completely understood. When I picked up our dog my total came to $311 with and $15 discount since it was 10% off spay and neuter for the month. When I asked why it was so much more than my quoted price she couldn’t give an answer and instead gave me list by list of the prices. 2 weeks later as listed on the paperwork I brought our dog in to have his sutures taken out. We left for vacation that day and later returned during the week. When we came home, I was loving on the dogs and noticed the dew claw sutures were never removed and 2 were already embedded into his skin! When called to inform nothing was said other than “sorry” to make an appt and bring our dog back in free of charge? ...That night we took our dog to a local after hours vet by our house who was more than understanding, had us in and out, and without charge. I left a review on email...no response...When I go to leave a review on Facebook they have blocked me. Needless to say we absolutely do not recommend this vet.

The staff and Dr. Taylor are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. They all treated our dog and her situation with the greatest compassion during a very stressful situation. We will be bringing all of our pets here for their care. Glad to have a competent and caring veterinarian office so close to home.

Dr Taylor is a excellent man, he done serious surgery on my pup which turned out perfectly. Not only did he do a perfect job in my eyes his rate was also more than a reasonable amount, he knew I would have spent whatever and Dr Taylor didn't think of taking advantage of that situation. I always trust his word and I always make my decision by just asking what he would do. He is a trustworthy excellent man he'll be my Dr as long as I own pets, hell I trust him more than my family doctor! Thank you Dr Taylor! Ronnie Hartman

I can't express enough how thankful I am to this Vet and his friendly staff for treating my cat's ear hematoma. The Vets calm demeanor and years of experience was a perfect match for my extremely feisty kitty. The office was very clean and neat. After calling many Vets for quotes and searching for good reviews online I am more than pleased with the outcome. I have already recommended this Vet to a few of my friends.
