This place is rude and unprofessional. Earlier today, my mother took her dog and due to Covid, she waited outside. One of the front desk people called her cell saying it wouldn’t take long due to one person ahead of her. It took 1plus hour wait time and another 1hr for dog to be treated. One front desk person called and asked that my mom bring the money inside but when she went she was ✋ by another rude employee telling her she wasn’t aware of that conversation. Anyway, if you go here be aware of the Not so great customer service experience.

My dog went here for CCL surgery. I was beyond impressed with the staff and the services my dog received. They explained everything very well to me, and even helped eased my concerns on the day of surgery. My dog isn’t a fan of vet offices and gets easily stressed, but they worked well with him. I would recommend this vet hospital to anyone.

I drove from Greenville to Wilson. Another dog attacked our dog . I loved the women and the young man who helped us last night. Welcoming empathetic friendly and kept us informed. I left feeling fully thankful, but most of all confident of how they treated Achilles. His brother came with us and they gave Murphy some pup love also. ????

Dr. Liz Taylor is one of the most qualified and skilled veterinarians. She is highly-trained and has renowned experience. She takes the time to talk you through procedures and care routines and will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is cared for. In addition, her and her staff have helped tremendously when it came to navigating insurance. My dog has had one knee surgery and will be going back for his second. There is no one I trust my dog with more than Dr. Taylor and this hospital.

I recommend them- youll get good care here. Im very thankful to Points East for taking such good care of my cat who does NOT like vets. There was concern for bowel obstruction, and swallowing a long plastic string (very dangerous for cats), and his breathing was very concerning to me. All of the staff, from the front desk to the vet tech to the doctors were so kind, but also very competent. You will be in good hands here. The biggest problem is the same as with most ERs- it’s first come first serve + triage by emergency. So the wait can be long, but the good news is that if you’re waiting, you know your pet is more stable than other ones coming in.

I can say how thankful and grateful I am to have taken her to Points East Veterinary in Wilson you guys made attended us with so much love. My lulu is doing sooo much better. The prices here are outrageous, and emergency services is a joke, please do not take your animal here if they are in need of immediate help. We sat at this office from 9:30pm until after 12am for them todo nothing they couldn’t even give us a clear response to what was actually wrong with our dog, but had the nerve to write up two large bills to choose from without knowing if either of these methods would work, because they had not figured out the issue. They will not allow you to pay for the services you can afford if you don’t pay for the entirety of the “plan” they THINK YOU MIGHT NEED. So we left without any Meds or clear cut answer as to what was wrong with our dog but not before paying almost 200$ just to be seen. I will never go back to this vet nor would I ever recommend anyone togo. The service as well as staff get a -5 stars from me.

When all three of my special dogs were at end of their lives and suffering, the staff there were professional and courteous to my grief. Highly recommended!

No one ever wants to need emergency services for themselves or their furry family. We found ourselves scared about how fast our 8yo lab mix was breathing at rest without play/exercise. We got there/called to check in and were addressed very quickly. They are practicing smart protocols regarding covid19 and my family appreciates that. We were given the option of curbside or inside care and after they had taken our girl back, had a preliminary diagnosis within a reasonable amount of time (maybe 30 mins?). From there it was just a matter of confirming/ruling out the cause of the problem with some further tests to help guide treatment. Everyone we spoke to/encountered was professional, courteous, and patient with our questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Rouillard & team, for the exceptional care of our girl! - Stella's Mom & Dad

Worse service I’ve ever had. I arrived with a pregnant English Bulldog which usually does not give natural birth & was asking about a C-section & the technician told me they were short staff which wasn’t a problem but she would check with the doctor to see how long it would be before I was next. All the technicians waited on one person which was the only person there besides me, never came back to tell me anything about what the doctor had to say because they probably never mentioned me in the first place, & I sat there from 2am til 3:45am without being told anything. This was the worst service I ever had and I promise I’ll never go back.

Dr. Taylor and Dr. Brady are amazing doctors and everyone I interacted with at Points East VSH was knowledgeable, professional, caring, and friendly. Dr. Taylor took the time to thoroughly explain several different options for my puppy’s unusual injury circumstances and gave me plenty of time to make the right decision. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Brady saw my puppy for several follow up appointments and I was impressed with their judgements each time. Every time I called the front desk for advice between visits, my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. I am thrilled that my puppy is now happy, healthy and fully healed from his injury, and I give all the credit to Points East VSH. Thank you so very much for being there for us when my puppy needed help.

Disappointing experience. I had an 11 year old dog that was in a lot of pain but they would not see him. Drove almost an hour to a different vet after waiting there for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Staff do not triage or communicate. Would not recommend.

My dog had an bad eye injury while his regular vet was out of town and so we had to take him to Points East. We went on a busy Friday and while we did have a long wait time it was in no way any of the staff's fault, they were completely swamped. The receptionists, techs, and vet were all so incredibly friendly and helpful.

Zero stars. Waited 4 hours for nothing. One of the worst experiences of my life. Communicate with your customers. Don’t have them wait in the car for hours & hours without reaching out at all. Terrible, hope you haven’t robbed my family of our beloved kitten. Awful!

After calling ahead, I drove quickly from Goldsboro to Wilson on a Sunday to seek help after my young cat was clearly bitten by a snake. Bloody and swollen left paw. I checked in just before noon and called to check in over the next 4 hours as I waited anxiously in the car. I was told our 9 months old cat was stable and not much else every time I called. I was told he was being seen in one of my last calls, but that proved to be either a lie or the wrong information. After 4+ hours of waiting my wife called and had our cat released to us without treatment as Points East was failing to even exam our furry friend. The girls that brought our little man out to the car said perhaps it was a burst abscess or some other kind of animal bite. I am no scientist, but two puncture wounds and lots of instant swelling sure seems like a snake bite to me. Very, very, very, very disappointed. Go somewhere else if possible.

If I could give them negative stars I would. After waiting 1 1/2 hrs NO ONE even checked on my dog. My dog ate 20+ grapes and only by the grace of God and her regular vet telling what to do before I got there is she still alive. I raced there for emergency care and was never even seen. IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

They turned my dog away for a broken leg who is clearly suffering and in pain because I didn’t have they money up front but would have it a few days later when I got paid I don’t understand supposed to be animal lovers but evidently it’s all about they money

We went to the clinic with our 12 y/o cat. She had been sick for a few days to a week. The Vet was straight forward and told us she had a form of lymphoma. She could be treated with some chemo and steroid, but this would be truly palliative. The whole staff was very compassionate. They supported us when we made the difficult decision to put her out of her misery. The DVM was very compassionate as he administered the sedative and other medication. They allowed us time to say our good bye and snuggle with her, before the procedure and did not rush us throughout. Give this group a A+.

All the staff at Points East have been absolutely incredible. The took the absolute best care of my baby on her weekend stay. I can't thank the front desk, surgeons, and nurses who healed my baby, answered every question i could come up with and provided the absolute best experience ever. Definitely recommend taking your babies there if they need emergency care! I can't say enough great things about them!

Took my fur baby Bj in for evaluation on May 12. Dr Taylor and her staff were great. Dr Taylor came out to the car herself, went over what would go on during the surgery showing pictures on her phone of the area she would be working on. Took the time to answer all my questions. On the June 14 (day of surgery) she came out and touched base again before starting her day. Called me after to give a report. I called every couple of hours till the next morning for check in and everyone was great. Next morning Dr Taylor came out and went over his procedure and meds answering any questions. Had questions after we came home...emailed question and sent pictures of surgery site they emailed me back in a couple of hours. I had a very wonderful experience with them. Would definitely take any of my furbabies to them.

The staff is not professional at all. The rudeness over the phone and in person is hard to stomach, especially when you ask a question and they get mouthy and walk away or threaten to hang up on you, and not even try to fix the issue they created.

I can’t begin to describe how rude she was. Physically shut the door in my face while trying to hold the door for her to walk in and then attitude to follow. I was dumbfounded. The older lady is someone you don’t want to talk to. The doc stated my pup wasn’t symptomatic and to keep tabs on his episodes which are a new dizziness and very wobbly walk. The problem is, is that the last episode hasn’t gone away which is why we took him in. This leads me to believe the doc didn’t really have a good look at him. She also didn’t read the paperwork we filled out, which was evident when my GF asked if the allergy meds could be causing it. Her response was, what allergy meds are you giving. The ones listed in the paperwork. This place was a disappointment, in a hard time with a loved pet.
