Dr. Grant is great--personable, knowledgeable, Informative, kind, has reasonable prices, and cares about ur pets. She spayed my cat and went into depth with me about everything. Highly recommend. Plus it's a small business and women owned

My dog is a retired military dog. He normally does not like going to the Vet. However he likes going to Lake Wheeler Vet Hospital. That speaks for itself.

Took my 6 week old kitten to Dr. Grant today for his first check up. She was so attentive and genuinely concerned for him and his health and made him feel safe. We will be going back forever

Dr.Grant and her staff are amazing!! Dr.Grant is brilliant and invest in her clients! A testimony to how incredible Dr.Grant is that my sweet Bella (dog) loved going to visit her. Hands down the best Vet ever!

I am extremely happy with everything I've experienced here. Chicken Parents/Owners: I highly recommend this vet if you have a sick bird. I was shocked at how low the price was so don't think you can't afford to take a chicken to the vet if "Princess Lay-uh" is now a beloved family pet. The staff and the doctor are all extremely friendly and always easy to contact. Any questions I've had for the doctor over the phone have been answered within an hour. Call before you go to get updated procedures due to covid.

I have recently started taking my dogs to Dr. Grant and it was a great decision. She is knowledgeable and accommodating. She truly cares about my pets and provides such attentive care to each one. I’m so glad my pups are under Dr. Grant’s amazing care.

We took our dog here for 5 years. Dr. Grant advised us the grain free diet had probably caused irreversible heart damage in our schnoodle. We had given her his diet information at all of his checkups but it was 3 years after the first warning regarding grain free diets was issued before she addressed it. I immediately began to research this issue and subsequently discovered that grain free diets causing heart damage is very controversial and is still being researched. We now feed our dog a mixed diet and make sure his food contains the proper nutrients. I was very disappointed she had failed to inform us of this issue earlier and did not keep up with the current research. In addition my family felt her to be condescending and ill informed. We also had a confrontation with her because of being 5 minutes late for a nail trimming appointment. While we felt extremely bad about being late but she was very unprofessional, rude and nasty. We were definitely in the wrong being late but she handled these situations so poorly we have decided to take our dog somewhere else.

Doctor Grant and her staff are knowledgable, caring, kind, and accommodating. During the pandemic she reorganized so she would examine pets near the front window so you could still see, and your pet could still see you. An innovative solution during covid care. I highly recommend her.

My cat, who was a patient of Grant for the past 5 years, poisoned hereself last week by chewing on some shrink wrap from China (maybe formaldehyde). She was dying to the point of not being able to stand up and Grant said she couldn't fit me in for a euthanasia for 2 days. An aminal, a patient of hers, is in pain and dying and she couldn't give a damn. Not a veterinary service you want to use unless you don't care for you pets/family.

I have been going here for over 10 years and have brought 8-10 dogs here. GREAT prices and their flexibility is awesome. The staff is super super nice too. 10/10 recommend.

I've been going to a national chain for several years and that was fine for periodic checkups and such. Once the issues became more elaborate, the price of this national chain became out of control. Dr. Grant gave me a more personalized service in a more convenient time frame at a quarter of the price. My pup is doing so incredibly well now and I wasn't forced to choose between my pup's health and whether or not I was going to eat this month!! I'm so incredibly thankful and I sincerely recommend Lake Wheeler Veterinary Hospital to all that read this review.

The place was so dirty. The lobby was clean but the room I was In. Omg never again. Don't bring your pet here. This place hard hairballs on the floor. Dirt all over the place. And tried to charge for thing I never heard of. My new vet was blown away. He never even heard of that she was trying to give. Trying to make a quick buck.. well over 100 on me.

This was our initial visit before even being seen by the vet. We were placed in a room and let our dog off the leash (which we were not instructed to do keep him on his leash), one of the nurses opened the door and our dog got out. My husband ran out to get him when the vet yells “Sir, you cannot be back here.” As he responded to “I’m getting my dog”. The vet quickly responds with “Jesus!” He replied with “We are leaving” and her last response was “Good!”. What a terrible first impression and we will not recommend or take our business back. Very unhappy about the unprofessionalism!

I just can't say enough good things about my first encounter with Dr. Grant. I found her and her staff to be a personable, helpful, understanding, and reassuring during a really stressful time (someone sold me sick chickens, I have a 9 month old, and its a pandemic). She gave me a ton of excellent information and helped me collect samples for testing at the state lab. As a chicken keeper herself, she understands my relationship with the flock and my desire to take the best care of them I can within my budget. I will definitely be back with my dogs, and will use her for all chicken veterinary needs for now on.
