VonBarkee’s is a wonderful dog spa! Each employee clearly has a true love for pets and a passion for caring for animals. The staff is professional and courteous and they do a fabulous job on grooming! I especially like the extras you can get like multi colored hair! They make it such a fun experience for the doggos!!!!

Dogs love going and are do happy when they return home. Very friendly and accommodating with their drop off.

Von Barkee’s does a Great job grooming our dog. They are professional and caring. When I ask for specific things for the cut, they always come through!

I refuse to take my girls back to Von Barkee. They used to be so great and caring but the quality of service declined and the pricing went up. My girls started to get terrible anxiety going into the shop and no longer wanted to get out of the car to go in. Then they charged extra because of high maintenance. This shop has lost their passion and care for dogs and now runs like dogs are a number.

Had my first experience with Von Barkee's this morning after our regular groomer closed due to COVID. I enjoyed the text message reminders and fast communication with the staff to get Oshie booked for an appointment. I also like how strict they are with having up to date vaccines. I have had experiences, where I wasn't even asked about vaccines and that is a huge red flag. I dropped him off right at 8am and picked him up by 1pm. From my other experiences, groomers keep him there all day, so I enjoyed getting to bring him back home earlier. When I picked him up, he was very relaxed and roaming around in the back area with the other pups. That is a major perk to me, because it helps take away Oshie's anxiety not being stuck in a crate. Overall a wonderful experience and we made our second appointment. If you are a Doodle mom or dad looking for a groomer, I highly recommend them :)

Make it impossible to get an appointment. Don’t waste your time. There are tons of better places in the area that actually want your business.

We had the best experience with Von Barkees - they took great care of our dog from his first puppy grooming!

I brought my dog here for a bath. He's a husky, so lots of fur. It took 4 hours and was i think $78 (plus I tipped). I would have liked to go inside and see the place and maybe buy some dog treats but because of covid they meet you outside and bring your dog in. He came out looking very nice, clean and fluffy. The staff was friendly. Booking was easy. My only concern is I'm not sure if he had access to water while he was there. When he got home he drank an entire bowl of water, went out to potty and then came inside and drank almost half of another bowl of water!! He was so thirsty.

I took my dog today for his first ever grooming and he was so happy to be there he didn’t even notice me when I arrived to pick him up. I couldn’t be happier with the service he received.

I brought our Golden here for the first time at their new location. From the start of the appointment until the end, they were so nice and responsive to all my questions. On the day of her appointment, it was storming and I was afraid I would not be able to get her out of the house due to her fear of storms. I called and explained my situation as I was worried I wouldn’t be on time for her appointment and they were so understanding and willing to work with me. They got all her tangles out and her coat looked beautiful and it was so soft. Will definitely be back again!

If 0 stars was possible I would. I have a dog who has been through 3 groomers in Iowa and all stated how he was anxious but did well. I move out here pay more expensive prices for them to turn him away and say it's completely impossible because he is so bad with his behavior. Never has any other vet or groomer said that. Yet they still kept the money I paid and never finished the job. Will not recommend will not return.

Vaan is a bit of an anxious nutcase and he seemed very at home for his appointment. He came home smelling wonderful and looking like a million bucks. Von Barkees has my utmost trust for reliable and kind treatment with experienced hands.

Was great until today..had me to come back to pick him up. Because of paralyzed legs when he pees or poos is not normal Vet said his poo was normal. Must have an incident of urine and poo mixed at the time..thank you for giving me vet reference the cost for what you do or have done is 64 dollars to you 110 dollars.

Disappointed. Happy for them to be moving to online booking, but we showed up and the service I had booked online wasn't available that day (trimmer not in on Mondays). So I said no problem, let's just do a bath. They did a great bath but tried to charge me $68 for my 35 lb puppy (who is not yet shedding), which is the XL price. I asked for clarification, we discussed politely, but my disappointment came because the owner tried to make her mistake into a favor she was doing me. As if I was getting a discount when she charged me $58 (which is still the Large price on the website) instead of just saying "oh, my bad sorry!" In short, my dog didn't get a trim (which is what I was willing to pay a professional for), I overpaid for a bath (because my 35 lb puppy is not a "large" dog), and I came away feeling like I can't trust the Von Barkee's scheduling and pricing on their website (not to mention you can't call to clarify).

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Do not send your babies here!!! They hurt my pup and then lied about. He’s bruised and had to be seen by the vet, given steroids and antibiotics!

I have brought my dog to them before and loved the staff and job they did on my dog. I brought him in last week and they charged me over $50 and did a horrible job. I don't know how it happened but there is a NEW bald spot on my dogs back like someone sliped with the razor and shaved a chunk out. When I asked them about this their excuse was that they are really busy and are trying to handle the load of dogs coming in. I got no apology or my request to talk to the owner fulfilled. The girl there said that she called the groomer that cut his hair but she was at lunch so there was nothing anyone could do. I understand that sometimes things happen but to opening admit that the mistake was made because they are having an issue handling the load of work they have is not a good enough excuse. And to not apologize and make it seem like its my fault for bringing him in when they are busy after I had mad this appointment weeks ahead of times is ridiculous. I will not return to this groomer or refer anyone to them.

I’m so thankful for Von Barkee’s! I have a Norwich Terrier, and it is so hard to find someone who does hand stripping. Hunter (my dog’s groomer) is a true artist. Hunter makes my Norwich look handsome, and he actually loves going to get groomed now that he’s going to Von Barkee’s. He goes right in when I drop him off and doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up. I can tell he’s loved there. Before he started going to Von Barkee’s, I had been taking him to a different grooming salon where it became obvious that he was being clipped instead of hand stripped. While he was going to the old place, his coat kept getting thinner in texture and lighter in color. It was so bad that the hair on his head parted down the center, and I could see his scalp. That’s when I went on the search to find a new groomer and contacted Von Barkee’s. Hunter has worked hard to get his coat back into shape. Just after a few months, his hair has become coarser and he is a gorgeous red once again.

7 mo. old Goldendoodle puppy who had never been trimmed loved this place. They did a GREAT job and were very friendly and kind. I would recommend this to everyone who gets their pet groomed. i did not get a chance to try the bakery but will next trip.

This is the best dog groomer in town. She took good care of my now deceased Mousse, who weighed 100 pounds and was a big baby about getting a bath and a haircut. He loved this place. I meant to do a review last October but I forgot. If you are new to the dog grooming scene, I encourage you to try this place first.

I give Von Barkee’s 5 stars across the board. They were able to get my dog in for a next day appointment and did an amazing job. I have a Pomeranian with high anxiety, so grooming him has always been a challenge. I’ve gone to multiple places over the years and never had success. Von Barkee’s was able to do it all the first time at a fair price! I will definitely be bringing him to them from now on!

we LOVE von barkees! both of my dogs have been going since they were puppies, and I wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else. my two shih tzus can be wiggly, anxious, and always seem to have a little matting no matter how much we brush them, but von barkees sends them out with a perfect cut no matter what. they are excited every time we pull into the parking lot because they know they’re in for a fun time. I always drop them both off at the same time, and it’s never taken longer than 2-3 hours until they’re ready. and we almost always get a cute photo when it’s time to pick up! making appointments is super easy with their new online booking system, and we really appreciate the COVID precautions they have taken. pricing is super reasonable considering the quality of service (both customer and pet cuts). they are the best in town for a reason and we will always be von barkees clients!

Great people with wonderful service

Did a great job on our Boykin Spaniel who has issues with his back legs standing for any length of time. Thanks for help when a chain pet store we had been to many times would not cut his hair due to his leg issue. My wife is really pleased !!!!
