Great service, that Truly listened to my concerns. Adjusted their care as such. Completely addressed even the smallest issue. Definitely recommend.

Not impressed. The vet. Tech acted like my 6 month old puppy was a hassle due to him acting like a puppy I guess. My visit went from $120 to $350 in the blink of an eye. The Vet was just not someone I am going to bring my dog back to, kinda mean, was more about telling me what I'm doing wrong raising him than caring about his health. Much happier with my new Vet

I can't say enough.. After being very disappointed with a different vet.. We were told to try Highsmith and we are so glad we did! They are truly amazing!

I love it here, and my dog really loves it here! She loves everyone she’s met, but Dr. Tayloe is definitely her favorite! She’s been seeing her since she was a puppy, and my dog always gets so excited when she walks in. ❤️ But the entire staff is always fantastic!! They’re always very helpful, kind, understanding, patient, respectful, and also fun! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The blonde receptionist is the worst person you could have at the front of your business Henry and I left with out seeing the vet. Response. Never was a mask mentioned I've never wore one and never will they are useless. The receptionist was very rude and complained that I was to early for Henry's appointment I guess they want him to sit in a hot car. The cdc only recommend masks at vet hospitals untill they stopped everywhere else like they have. I didn't meet the vet so I can't comment on her but I spoke to the person whom we got Henry from and the funny thing she knew who exactly we were talking about.

Jake & Dr. Highsmith were attentive & gentle with my senior cat.GREATLY APPRECIATED after the last vetinarian.

I can’t express how much I love this place and how much I appreciate all of the staff there, especially Dr. Dipiero. They’re always super nice both over the phone and in person. Dr. Dipiero goes out of his way to make sure both my boys are doing okay and makes sure to follow up if needed. They work with my ever changing schedule and have suggestions to keep everything in budget for my unexpected visits.

This is by far the best veterinarian office in Wilmington. Every doctor I have had has been very professional and courteous, and seem to truly care about my pets. They always take the time to explain what is going on, and what treatments they plan to utilize. Would recommend this vet to anyone looking for a high quality vet for their fur baby.

Run don't walk. My dog was recovering from 3 surgeries and 5 months in the animal hospital. She was having some dehydration problems, I took her to see Dr Anderson. She came outside did a swab of my dogs ears. Did not exam my dog at all. Did not take seriously my dog was very sick, thats why I brought her there.I discovered a couple days later my dogs colon was impacted. I called the owner Dr Highsmith. He refused to take responsibility for Dr Anderson and refused to help my dog. Cali died within a week. This is inexcusable, my dog had to die because of a non caring negligent vet that didn't exam my dog. Cali meant the world to me.

They handle my dog with lots of love and care an take extra time with him during his visits

My cat of 14 years,Iris Became quite ill and they got us in immediately. What a wonderful vet . Dr. D is just GREAT. And his staff. Explained everything to me. Made my Iris comfortable as she is quite sick. Just wanted a great big shout out to Dr. D and his staff. Thank you for all you did.And allowing me my input. Would highly recommend!

Love the vets at Highsmith. They are so very caring and compassionate. Two of them have an in-home euthanasia service which has been so nice when we have lost our dogs. They don’t try to sell you on unnecessary services and the prices are pretty reasonable. Highly recommend.

My pup has a tendency to be difficult with nail trims and has anxiety.The Veterinarian answered all of my questions and I am so thankful that I found this office.They are wonderful.

I have a lab/pit bull who is terrified of the vet. Dr. Tayloe, the front office team, and all the vet techs treat her with an incredible amount of patience and understanding. Dr. Tayloe does a great job of providing multiple options, and working within my budget. I have taken her to Highsmith Animal Hospital for 2 years now and have had outstanding experiences. I highly recommend for anyone looking for care for their pet.

So at first this place was AMAZING!! They were so helpful and accomadating and the vet my dogs had actually did a thorough assessment on both dogs which was wonderful. Well I called today (which the rude receptionist couldn't spell the name I was spelling for her correctly so said loudly are you sure she goes here.. like lady use another search format if you're struggling.. --problem solving >>come on) to see if my dog who has it documented in her chart that she has hot spots, that get really bad, could get a refill on her prednisone the last vet had her on .. sounds simple enough right? No ,after dealing with an extremely loud, rude and over-speaking receptionist named Sue, she informed me that my dogs vet isn't here so Id have to wait until Monday. If you know anything about hot spots in long hair dogs, they spread so fast and get nasty. Negative, Im not waiting until Monday which I informed her and she said well shell get back to me when she can.. WOW. Calls me back in 2 hrs so , yay good on her, to tell me I can wait until Monday or bring my dog in for another visit tomorrow to see a vet because she won't write a script because ease hasn't seen my dog so that costs money on top of a prescription , not to mention I have to work all day so they wouldn't even be opened when I would be able to get there. So now this vet- is going to let my dog continue to suffer and basically loose all her hair like she did last time. I thought vets were supposed to care about a dog suffering but I guess not . After my puppies last appt for rabies shot- I will not be taking my dogs there ever again. Shame on y'all for not caring about a dog legit suffering and hiring a rude recpetionist that couldn't even be bothered to help . She had an attitude right after I said Hey , my name is ... and couldn't spell it correctly. RIDICULOUS .

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no wait. The doctor was very thorough and helpful with her examination. She explained what she was doing and why! I would recommend Highsmith Animal Hospital to anyone with a pet!
