Absolutely would NOT recommend! Both of our dogs went there (lab and Maltese), however when our lab was attacked by a dog we were told by emergency vet to see our primary…we walked in and they refused to examine the 3 puncture wounds until they had an opening which was THREE WEEKS. We immediately called another vet and they made time THE SAME DAY to examine our lab. For our Maltese, a small lump under her skin came about and grew so fast it started to opening her skin and bleeding. We took her to the emergency vet on a Saturday and they told us to see her primary first thing Monday as it was a fatty tumor and needed to be removed for testing. I called Country Vet at 8am, was hung up on 4 times…called 2-3 more times and kept getting voicemail. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional and unreliable vet in my life! The fact that you can’t get in touch with someone for some reassurance is terribly inconsiderate, disappointing and alarming. If you can’t keep up with the volume of pets you treat then PLEASE STOP ACCEPTING MORE. That same day again, we called VCA Wrightsville Beach Animal Hospital, it only needed to ring once for them to answer and they immediately scheduled our Maltese for examination and surgery.

Never answer the phone or return messages. Another example how a Wilmington business gets busy and does not respond to its long standing customers.

All my experiences with Country Vet has been extremely pleasant. All staff members are so friendly. And I can’t say enough about the professional staff. They are always so kind and answer all my questions plus take such loving care for my fur babies. And it is so helpful they are reasonably price.

I recently had my first non-routine checkup visit. Dr. Dan/staff were all great with my dog and took time to answer my questions. Very pleased with how the appointment went. I left feeling reassured regarding My dog's condition as well as my choice of veterinarian in general..

So disappointed in this vet, they were supposed to handle a health certificate for travel and their staff didn’t know what they are doing!!

Your receptionists are extremely rude. I have been a customer for 4 years now and have always been happy with this vet. However, the last two times I have had horrible customer service. They are the face of your business. They should treat your customers with respect.

They remove negative comments. Check out Yelp those comments can’t be removed. This place is unprofessional and rude

Dr. Fox and her staff went above and beyond to make sure my sweet boy had a good visit. My dog can get very anxious at the vet’s office and they were so patient with him. I can’t thank them enough. <3

Took my dog there for physical exam, veterinarian knew my dog had cataracts in his eyes and didn't let us know. Yet he wrote it down in his private notes. Then my dog all of a sudden went blind. To save himself, he decided to turn the tables on us and make it seem as if my dog needed blood drawn to see what was going on, due to other complications. As if that had anything to do with him not telling us about the cataracts.

I have been taking my dog to country vet for 10 years now and cannot speak highly enough of the service, care, and sincere compassion Country Vet has for my dog. My dog was recently diagnosed with CHF and the Country Vet team has gone above and beyond caring for my dog every step of the way. I highly recommend the Country Vet team, specifically Dr. Fox. If you are looking for a Veterinarian that goes above and beyond for your pets care, Dr. Fox is the best in town.

The low prices here aren’t even the best part. The staff, from the receptionists to the vet, are wonderful, friendly, and truly care for the pets. They even went out of their way to get a list of groomers that I could take my long haired cat to.

These "veterinarians" seem to not care about animals. They were super eager to put my cat down over a minor health issue
