My dog Maevis is very timid and she usually has anxiety near strangers. Well... she was so relaxed with the staff getting her in and out of the car! I was so happy for her. I've been here three times since the Pandemic and it's really sad to not be able to go in with your pet at the vet. This office doesn't allow you to come inside. I don't even know what the vet looks like, but they have taken great care of my two pets.

Cat was well medicated and looked after.

Love Dr. Kier and his staff. They are courteous, professional and Dr. Kier takes his time with your pet and makes sure you understand what's going on with your pet. They are affordable and never add additional tests unless they are absolutely necessary. You will love Dr. Kier too.

They were very professional and the best vet I have ever experienced. The doctor that took care of my baby was amazing and explained everything so simple so that I could understand it. He also made me laugh which made me more comfortable with them knowing they arnt robots haha. I will keep coming back as my main vet for now on.

I have been bringing my cat to Independence Veterinary Hospital for about 5 years. My cat is not the easiest patient but they are always respectful with her and able to complete any tests or procedures. The vets are great with explaining any issues in detail and providing multiple options to remedy issues. I have had nothing but good experiences here.

Dr Kier, Your staff’s and your personal kindness mattered more than we can convey in words. Our cat lady chose us almost 14 years ago, when she showed up in a tree in our yard. And she ruled our world. Including all of our dogs and our other cat. She was almost 14 and had never been ill, when she started sneezing about 6 weeks ago. Over a few short weeks you found a tumor and we walked through a hard but right decision for her quality of life, to say goodbye. You and your staff were patient, compassionate and so kind on that incredibly hard day. Your personal, handwritten note of condolence helped us grieve. Very knowledgeable and Covid safe.

We are still unable to go inside the facility because of Covid. The tech came to my car to get my dog and reviewed the nature of the visit. Although I was not able to meet the Vet, he called my cell phone and gave me a complete review of the visit. I was impressed with the whole operation.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kier and his staff. They have treated my nervous cat wonderfully and made her surgery as painless as possible and answering my many questions aftewards with patience and kindness. Highly highly recommend.

Independence Vet Hosp is Wonderful . You wont find a more caring group to take care of your precious fur babies . I love the staff and Dr Johnston and Dr Kier are the best . If you need to speak to a Dr, be assured , your call will be returned . That is so important when you have a concern about your baby. Dr Kier called me at 8:30 pm one night to ensure he got back with me the same day. That means a lot when you are worried . I highly recommend this group , and I won't go any place else unless its an emergency after hours and I have no choice . These are picture of my boys !!

Great experience!! Every staff member I had encountered were friendly, attentive and professional. Dr. R. Johnston was informative, compassionate and reassured me as to any further questions I had... just to give them a call. I most definitely felt at ease taking my Senior Cat there. I would highly recommend "Independence Veterinary " for their wonderful caring client service and have no doubt they will do everything to help your fur baby feel safe and comfortable during their visit.

Dr Kier and his staff are wonderful. They take time with each pet to keep them comfortable and calm during their visit. My dogs can feel the love. Dr Kier is excellent at taking time to speak to the owners and he always provides options as opposed to jumping to the most expensive option. I will continue to recommend this practice to friends.

Would not recommend. Judgmental to breeds of dogs and horrible miscommunication within staff.

I've been taking my cat here for 5 years now and they have always been friendly, loving and caring. We will continue to use their services as long as we have a pet.

I been to about five different veterinarian to find out what is going on with my dog Buck. This place is eager to find out what is going on with my dog it's hard to fix something that ain't broke so they're starting from ABC and you got to start somewhere but I think this place is the one that could figure it out it's a great place easy access you pull in easy parking the doctor seem like they care and call you and talk to you on the phone to find out every little bits and pieces about what's going on with your animal I would give it a five-star Plus.

I took my baby, Zuzu, back in December to get a mass removed. Was blown away by the amazingly professional service, reasonable priced surgery and meds, and quick scheduling.

I’ve been taking my pup here since he was 6 weeks old. They are always more than willing to help in anyway. Incredibly professional and incredibly kind. My pup who is now 9 months old was recently attacked by another dog at a training facility and I brought him here right away. I’ve been a wreck since it happened and they put me at ease. The receptionists(who are always remarkable) gave me an appointment as soon as they could. I dropped him off early in the morning and shortly after Dr.Kier called and told me he needed to have some drains put in his leg to keep down the swelling. He also called me after the procedure and told me what to do, how to manage it, what to expect and when to come back. You can tell each and every person that works here truly cares about your family member. From the receptionists, vet techs and docs are absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for each one of them. I will never take my dog anywhere else. I can’t say enough great things about this place. You guys are phenomenal. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby. Kyro also says thank you!!

My baby Simba is less than 2 years old, and is now blind. I took him to see Dr Johnston. He examined him did blood work and called me today all blood work was great now going to Animal Eye Care for eye exam. Thank you Independence Veterinary Hospital
