Want deposit to hold your appointment, OK not really an issue; but require me to pull medical records from a previous vet. Most vets do this as part of their service, these people want you to do the footwork for information only they would need or require anyway. I decided against this type of business structure, i won't pay for a service and do the work myself.

Absolutely wonderful people, they treat you and your pets with respect and care. Would and do reccomend to everyone i know.

Im happy with the service I got from Bostic Verterinarian Hospital. They have a wonderful, friendly staff!! I called Bostic on Columbus Day (because my cat was feeling sick), and they were able to slide me in that very day! I called 3 other Verterinarian hospital in Va Beach, and the closest appointment I could get was 3 weeks away!! It was very nice Bostic slid us in for a wellness check, because I needed to know the status of my kitty cat. I also brought my cat's kittens in (4 kittens), and the doctor did a wellness check on them too. The only issue I had with this vet was that I felt, "nickel and dimed" at first, when I got the final bill. When I meantioned to the doctor that "money is tight", they reduced my bill, slightly (I appreciate that, but it was still a lil pricey). The one thing I did not understand was that I had to pay for "anesthetic" (not to put my cat to sleep, just to calm her down slightly), so that they could draw blood and induce electrolights. I thought the anesthetic should have been "free of charge" because anesthetic is to help the doctor do his job easier and faster, not for the cat to feel better!! The doctor should pay for the anesthetic because it makes his job easier and his day go better (it was an extra $40 bucks for the anesthetic, which I considered "nickel and diming" the customer). Next time, I will recommend to just stay in the room and hold my cat to save $40 bucks. Good service, and a fantastic staff here at Bostic, but watch for the "nickel and diming" on your bill if you are "tight on money".

Our adventure there was that Chruchill needs a new vet... they took very good care of him we are pleased. It's hard to relocate. You have to make decisions on things and you don't get much heads up info to make hard choices on. This one is done Chruchill likes them we like them stick a pin ???? in it thank God. Tally ho!

Call this place and told the staff my dog had a life threatening risk. I was turned away for no pacific reason. This the first vet I have dealt with that about the money and not the animals. Complete disgrace to Vets worldwide.

So awesome. Dr. Szabo was incredible & kept me posted every step. The staff is so loving & caring. Miss Kitty had to be euthanized, but Bostic's is just the best place to go. They even let a friend visit her. Did you know there are no vacuum cleaners in kitty heaven? Thank you so much for all you did for my baby.

Dr Szabo and Dr Manning have cared for my Golden Retriever and my Yellow Lab. I trust them and all the wonderful staff at Bostic Veterinary Hospital.

The Dr. was magical with my skiddish kitty. She didn’t even get clawed or traumatize the kitty. She was the first Vet who was able to handle her calmly and she really understood the cat. I was only getting an appointment to get one procedure done, but after that visit I am switching vets. The best part was they didn’t Nicole and dime me. The cost was very reasonable and they gave me a big discount.

Great vet and great groomer!

I took both my girls in to be groomed. They were able to do them without sedation, which is amazing. Plus she did exactly what I asked her. My girls look amazing. Happy I took them here and very reasonable pricing.

Dr very nice and thorough. Office is clean and well kept.

There was no communication from the vet, when our female was inseminated and we waited 25 days for the big day. The first phone call I received while waiting in my car, was the receptionist asking for payment for the ultrasound. I had to ask, is she pregnant??? Also believe the reason the insemination didn’t take is due to a medication she had been on. I had preciously called Dr. Manning’s office twice to insure it was ok to proceed. Now I have not received a call back from the doctor to talk with me. I didn’t hire a doctor to speak with a receptionist. Now over $3,000 later I find he is not the caring vet I wanted for my puppies. We won’t be back.

Have a 3pm appt arrive at 245 didn't come and get my pet till 5pm. Don't leave till 530. When I asked about it the answer I receive was well we are really busy.

We have been going to Dr. Gail Szabo and Dr. Manning since 2006 and we would not go anywhere else. They were wonderful when our dog had to have a serious surgery. Dr. Szabo was confident and agreed to do the surgery and put our minds at ease. Our dog was cured! Then, he got very sick at age 14 and Dr. Szabo stayed optimistic and kept him in the hospital at a very reasonable fee. Everyone was so kind and caring through it all. Dr. Szabo called and updated us herself during the 2 weeks he was in the hospital and encouraged us to come and see him whenever we wanted. Unfortunately, we had to put our Bruno down and Dr. Szabo and the entire staff were so kind and just absolutely wonderful. We got a new dog and we take him to Bostic too. I really am shocked by the negative reviews. Emergency hospitals are for emergencies. Bostic is very good about scheduling appointments very quickly. If they can accomodate you they will. Everyone who works at Bostic has been there a really Iong time, which speaks volumes. We tried 2 other vet's in the area and Bostic is by far, the Best. Once we found Bostic, we stopped going anywhere else. We have recommended our friends and family, and they go to Bostic too. Dr Szabo and Dr Manning are truly the Best in the Industry along with their Incredible staff! They have years of experience and their Skill Set remains Unmatched. They take appropriate action and never do anything in haste. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The staff is kind, the building and exam rooms are clean, and all three of my dogs are always given the best care. The vets are well rehearsed in their craft. I've gone there for regular check ups, spur of the moment occasions, and even an eye surgery. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my furry friends the way I trust Bostic.

This visit was my first. Unfortunately I was unable to go in with my dog. He did not seem stressed when he was brought back to me. I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Szabo came outside to introduce herself and talk about the visit more than just on the phone. It was especially nice since that particular day we had some of the worst rain of the year

The care that this clinic gives my dog (and dogs in the past) is outstanding. So much compassion, so much up to date research is shared and when changes happen then it is passed along. Never felt rushed, never felt like a customer, but more like family. They do beyond to make sure you and your pet are comfortable...Come and be a part of this clinic and their care!

I called to check to see if my vet appt. was at 2:30 because I called April 15 to schedule an appt for my dog cocoa and my name is Richard Moore and we set the appt for April 24th at 2:30 the lady then was nice and she told me to be 5 min early to fill out paper work so today I called to double check on my appt before arriving and as soon as the lady picked up the phone it was like she had this ill tone in her voice as if she’s having a bad day and doesn’t like her job it should have been answered with joy like banfield did but however I continued to tell her my information I feel as if she didn’t even search my dogs name or mine because her attitude was just so crude and coarse I don’t appreciate that tone when I was just trying to double check my appt and after telling the lady she continued to tell me no I didn’t make it but I have the call logs that I did make an appt for 2:30 but she told me they usually don’t even do 2:30 appt but then continued to tell me she made an appt for me on Monday at 2:45 but I thought they didn’t do 2:30 appts the lady was so unpleasant to talk to she just didn’t seem to care about my pets health or the fact she needed to be seen

They constantly post that their hours are changing and don't stay open past 5pm for people that work until 5pm. Got a call someone in the office had covid at 830 pm the day before our appointment now we have to scramble to find another vet with availability. There recommendations were blue pearl the emergency vet who is over priced just like them. Would not recommend this vet to anyone
