I can not recommend this office enough. We are in and out quite often and have always been treated like family. Our boy is so happy any time we get there. I can not thank the staff enough for taking such amazing care of us.

On Christmas Eve, during a trip to VA to visit family, the wonderful staff here were able to squeeze in an appointment for my dog who was suffering greatly. They saved her life and made excellent recommendations for continued care. They were honest about their limitations (largely due to holiday scheduling) and worked hard to find me an animal hospital who could continue care until their office reopened. They recommended an excellent animal hospital. All of the vets, assistants, and staff here are clearly passionate about animals and genuine in their desire to help both the pet and the pet owner. While my dog was away being treated, they checked on me to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything, like water. Client service was excellent. Thank you Academy Animal Care!

I wish there were more stars to give! We cannot say enough positive things about Dr Chase, his wife, and their whole team. They are wonderful people, and truly love and appreciate their patients/clients. We recently moved out of the area and leaving our Vet was one of the hardest decisions we faced. We have always been shown thoughtful and experienced, professional care. We HIGHLY recommend this practice!

Dr. Chase is amazing!!! He takes such amazing care of my baby, Peluda! He takes his time explaining and showing me in detail what's going on with an issue we're currently fixing to prevent surgery! It's very evident we're on the right path!! So thankful for his expertise!!

Dr. Hannah Adams is amazing and a truly wonderful vet and person. The office itself tries it best to work us in ASAP for any emergencies and the techs and other veterinarians have always tried their best to make sure we're taken care of in a pinch. I truly appreciate their empathy and compassion.

This has been our vet ever since I got my dog 5 years ago. Now both of my dogs come here regularly. All the doctors has seen my dogs and they are all very kind, knowledgeable, and genuine. All the techs are the best I have ever seen to. They take very good care of our dogs whenever we visit. We are in the military we travel a lot. We have a hard time trusting other vets with our dogs. (Lots of places have good review but when you get there you can tell they just want your money and don't care about you or your dogs.) My honest opinion is it's hard to find a trustworthy vet like Academy Animals. Highly recommend. You will not regret!

Excellent staff who really care about your pet.

This is the BEST vet and the ONLY place I take my babies for something serious. Dr. Chase and Dr. Ambrosia are both FANTASTIC. They're kind, professional, and always explain each and every issue and concern clearly. I have always loved them, since our first visit, but Dr. Chase staying extremely late with my sick kitty tonight, really took my opinion of this practice and the doctors who work here to the next level. If you want a vet who will always do their best to make the right decisions for your animals, who will go above and beyond to help you in an emergency situation, and who will love your pet as much as you do, this is the place for you.

I love this vet office. I have a cat and she is my fur-baby. My cat is strictly an indoor cat and she does not like people. She barely likes me. Needless to say she needs to be handled differently when she visits. All the vets at AAC are kind and caring and know how to handle her. I've been to other vets that didn't treat her with kindness or respect because she hisses and growls. She can't help it, it's just the way she is. When you love your pets like they are your children and want the best for them, then you take them somewhere where they can get the best care. AAC is that place. I can't say enough good things about AAC and the wonderful staff. Thank you AAC!

We've been taking our pet here for about 2 years. They are great at getting us in quickly whenever there is something that needs quick attention. We always appreciate their follow up calls checking on our pet.

The doctors at Academy have saved the lives of more than one of my pets on more than one occasion. We love them! They're a bit more pricey than some other vets in the area, but totally worth every penny.
