I’m so happy I found this hospital. My little china was so sick that she needed surgery right away. She explained really well what was going on with my little sweet girl. They took really good care of her. It’s been few days and now and she’s acting like herself. I’m so thankful.

Dr. Langdon and her staff have cared for our toy poodle for the past couple of years. Missy is over 18 years old so it means a lot to us that she receives such good care at Willowrun.

We brought our cat Boo in and she was very sick, had to be put down. The staff were so very compassionate and demonstrated a genuine love for Boo and for us. Dr. Ellis explained everything so clearly and we were at peace with the decision. We have since received a call to check on us and a card signed by the staff. So thankful to have found this practice!

Williwrun is by far the best Veterinary Hospital that we have gone to ever. We only started using them six months ago, bc our GSD needed something more than she was getting at the vet we were going to for her arthritus. Willowrun practice actipuncture, laser treatments, as well as traditional Veterinary medicine. . Our baby also was diagnosed with a cancer mast in her nasal passage, and Dr. Maddy and Dr Ellis are working with her oncologist in Cary. When we go for our visits, we feel as though they don't guess at what is wrong, they know what is wrong. We also have another GSD. He is a grouch and doesn't like vets. They work with difficult dogs called a no fear program. Thank heavens for them.

Our pets became patients at Willowrun in 2019. We recently had to have our 16 year old dog, Peppy, put to sleep. I never had that experience before and was anxious about it, but every member of the care team was so kind and compassionate. Dr. Hammond prayed over us and was so gentle in explaining and answering our questions. Another one of our dogs has anxiety induced seizures and has difficulty getting to the office. Willowrun has always been so helpful in working with us to accommodate our pets’ and family’s needs. Their service and care is unsurpassed.

Love the Willowrun family. They truly care about their patients. We had to be worked in today and the wait was not bad at all. Got there at 9am and was done by 10:30am. Not bad for a work in. Thank you Willow run!

Yesterday was the first time I had ever met the vet with my dog he was extremely sick and they help me financially and they helped him and he's doing so much better today

We found our sweet boy as a stray and didn’t know much about cats because my boyfriend and I both had dogs growing up but everyone was very friendly and helpful. We took him in to get his shots and just having him looked at and they didn’t make us feel dumb for not knowing much about cats. I 100% would recommend them to anyone.

The entire staff is superb, no complaints, provided excellent care, displayed care and professionalism through out the entire examination, administering vaccines and follow up.

We love Willowrun. We moved to NC almost 5 years ago, and after going to two other vet hospitals, we chose Willowrun. Last night we took our Yorkie to have her put to sleep and even though it was the most heart wrenching visit, the staff and Dr. Jacob Hammond made it the best experience possible. Dr. Hammond calmed Sadie, said a prayer for her and I, and helped the transition go as peacefully as possible. He was of the utmost compassionate with her and I. His assistant was also very compassionate, but in my sorrow, I can't remember her name. They called this morning to make sure we were doing ok. I will never go to another vet. Our animals are loved by them. Thank you Dr. Hammond and staff.

Amazing people and business. They treat you like family

If you re looking for a vet in the Smithfield area, I highly recommend the wonderful guys at Willowrun Veterinary Hospital. We have both an extremely large Mastiff puppy and two small kittens, all have been here and all have received excellent care.

If you're fur baby is at their end of life stage, there is no better place. The doctor and staff were extremely caring compassionate empathetic making sure that everything was as good as could be considering the devastating circumstances as we faced losing our precious KittyPoo. They truly do care about the animals that come through their door.

I am so happy at Willow Run! I’ve never had a bad experience with Dr. Hammond and will continue driving over half an hour to make sure my girls are well taken care of. All of the staff is super friendly, and even though my one girl gave a huge fuss over getting examined and her nails clipped everyone remained professional. Even despite the tech getting frustrated trying to hold her down, everyone was still very friendly and professional! Will always continue bringing my girls back here to see the staff and especially Dr. Hammond.

Very good service. They know what they doing

Called a week ago and asked if they performed perineal hernia repairs & asked how much it would be, was told they did perform it at their office and that it ranged from $800-$1200 . I agreed and scheduled an appt with the vet that could do this specific surgery. They then called me the morning of my dogs appt (that we waited a week for) and said “I just want to make sure you are aware we don’t do this surgery here” ?????? my dog has been in pain and discomfort for the past week just so they could tell me the morning of the appt that they actually have to call a specialist in and it would cost $3500. It’s not fair that they did this when I could have been looking elsewhere the whole time to get my dog into an appt in a safe time frame. Now I’m left not knowing where I can take my dog for his surgery for a reasonable price. Very disappointed, would not trust them again.

Love, love, love the entire staff of Willowrun, everyone is so professional, caring, and thorough - I have utmost respect and trust for them and their care for my fur family. From initial visits to caring follow-ups after every visit, the staff is there for us. Moving to NC a little over 3 years ago, I was in need of an AAHA accredited practice as I was leaving a 40 year relationship with my trusted veterinary practice in New York. I was granted an opportunity for a meet and greet of the staff and tour of the facility prior to becoming part of the Willowrun family. I've experienced the utmost care and compassion from everyone at Willowrun; I highly recommend trusting Willowrun with your pet's care!

Absolutely wonderful team at Willowrun. I had what I thought was an emergency situation with my cat and needed to see a vet ASAP. They were able to get me in with my kitty and we had the issue resolved in a few short days. Now, they're my regular vet for her! I'm so happy that we have such a caring animal practice local to my home that is affordable.

Brought our GSD in as a puppy she had diarrhea. Miss diagnosis almost killed her and charged us a ton. we told them it as coccidia and Giriadia but they refused to listen. In the end that's what she had and that is what she was treated for and she recovered. Issues with boarding a pregnancy etc. Don't go here
