Smithfield Animal Hospital Was A Great Choice.!! Looking For Someone To Crop His Ears Was Very Hard To Come Across..I’m Glad I Found Them .. I Love The Results and The Staff Was Great … I Drove 1 hr and 30 minutes To Them and It Was Well Worth It … The Healing Process Went Great

Three years ago we started taking our precious dog to them. Since then they have taken excellent care of her during an illness or just an annual checkup. I recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring veterinarian.

Our 8 year old cat developed acute intestinal symptoms. We called his regular veterinarian's office and was told he could not be seen for several days. A phone call to the Smithfield Animal Hospital received the response "bring him in immediately". Drs. Payne and Forgeng examined him and provided excellent care. He is now well and back to his normal self.

I cannot say enough great things about Smithfield. I had my dog (Jaxson) cropped at a local vet who had no idea what they were doing. I contacted Smithfield about a corrective crop and within a few hours they called me to schedule an appointment. Upon arriving everyone was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Dr. May showed me what he would do to fix the crop and explained to me what wasn’t done the first time. I could not be more pleased with the services at this clinic. My labradoodle Lola had her first time check up there last Friday. The vet and the vet tech were wonderful even though my baby girl was terrified, is a great, clean place and I love the politely helpful staff.

I recently moved to Smithfield and had difficulty finding a good veterinarian for my rescue beagle. She has some anxiety so it was difficult finding a vet that fit her personality here. I was so thankful to find Smithfield Animal Hospital. She ended up with an ear infection and they got her in quickly for an appointment, even though she was a new patient. Despite her anxiety, the staff was very calming and gentle. The vet seemed to genuinely like my dog and was very caring toward her. My dog left with her tail wagging, which is incredible for her! I can highly recommend them.

Loved this animal hospital! We can here to crop our baby Odin’s ears. And the doctor completely delivered! We fell in love he got the height we desired, even though we honestly weren’t precise on how exactly we wanted it. We gave him a general idea and it came out better than expected!

This is our dog. He loves his vet and so do we! We found this vet on a list of top 5 European Doberman vets recommended in Virginia and have been going for 4 years.
