They get a star because the urn was nice. But who spells FAMILY wrong? I accepted the mess up but then told I would have a replacement in my mailbox within days. 2 weeks later, still haven’t received it.

My pet passed away on 11/5. I did paperwork for Agape to cremate my pet at that time. They never called to give me any information. I had to keep calling for an update. Then when I called they said that a staff member was out of the office so they didn’t know what was going on. You would think more than one staff member would know how to run a company especially a company centered around such an emotional time for pet owners who lost a family member. The ER told me they do engraving. We finally found out that they don’t do engraving so had to send our pet to ANOTHER company to get engraved. The lady at Agape confirmed the box and engraving that we wanted over the phone, which was also on the form we filled out the day of. Fast forward to today, 3 WEEKS later, we got him back in the wrong box with the wrong engraving. Highly disappointed. NC State should consider using a different company for these services.

Agape Cremation is a first class company. We have have been a customer of their's on more than one occasion and will use them in the future. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are.

Words can express the gratitude we have Agape Pet Services. We lost our beloved Auggie after a routine surgery. Firs the first phonemail they were amazing. My family and I drove him to Agape where the we met with the same compassion we had on the phone. After we had paid and said our goodbyes to Auggie, Odessa came out to share the story of her own loss and seeing the tears in her eyes about our loss showed just what an amazing company this is. Thank you to Agape for being there for us in our time of need. We can not thank you enough.

I just picked up my sweet baby boxer's ashes and the box with her ashes is dirty and chipped and they spelled her name wrong..what a way to put the final touches on saying goodbye to her. Thanks for making a heartbreaking experience even worse!

My beloved horse died suddenly and unexpectedly April 9th, late evening. Juan came over to bury Birdie the next day and lay him to rest. I’ve witnessed dozens of horse burials in my lifetime-sadly, this was by far the most professional. Juan’s skill, technique and compassion went far above my expectations. How one man can bury a 1500 lb animal alone, with no mishaps, is awe inspiring. Thank you for making a horrifyingly painful day bearable and thank you for making sure Birdie was comfortable in his final resting place. I highly recommend choosing Agape Services and Danella,...thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness.

I have worked in the pet industry and the way I received my pet back almost made me faint. I asked for a paw print but no urn I would get that later. My 6lb cat had a little paw print that came inside a bag big enough to fit a watermelon as I took her print out the bag still felt as though something were in there. I reached in and to my complete horror was a small see through plastic bag with her ashes. I almost passed out. At least present the ashes back to the families in a closed container like Faithful Friends pet creamation did. You have made a very sad time even harder. Your service is less than sub-par and shame on you.

Our vet sent our dog to Agape Pet Services for his cremation, and they went above and beyond what I was expecting. You can tell they took such time and care with our beloved family dog in every way. His sweet little clay paw print, to his precious inked paw and nose print, perfect. And to top it off, his ashes were placed in a beautiful wooden urn with his name on it. Thank you Agape for the beautiful memory of our dog, which we will cherish forever.

If I could give more stars as a rating there wouldn't be enough. I work in the veterinary field and have dealt with several cremation services. Agape is beyond the best services available. There understanding and the services they offer are beyond anybodies expectations. From start to finish and after they are there to assist you. I wouldn't rather have anyone else dealing with my pets remains but Agape. Thank you for all you do.

We just picked up our dogs remains and they were in a beautiful box with Kammie (our dog) name on the front. We especially appreciated the container that had his paw prints. We were amazed by the care that his remains were given.

After my first telephone conversation with Agape's Siler City, NC location, I realized I didn't have to meet them in person - I knew in my heart that they live by their motto: "love without limits". Danella's compassion and integrity came through in her voice. Our Jesse's trip over Rainbow Bridge was made into a lasting, beautiful celebration of his life by these fine people. Their timely return of his cremains in a beautifully finished personalized wooden box, together with a custom paw print keepsake, far surpassed any expectations. I am so thankful that Jesse's veterinary staff has partnered with this wonderful company.

Our vet sent our cat to Agape Pet Services for his cremation, and they went above and beyond what we were expecting. Our vet called us when we could come by to pick up our precious Vegas’s beautiful cherry wood urn with his name plate on the front of the box. We also received his paw print in a small black frame. Thank you Agape for the beautiful memory of our beloved family cat which we will cherish forever.❤️

Agape Cremation service is unparalleled in NC today. I've had the pleasure and displeasure of utilizing multiple pet cremation services over the last 20 years as a pet owner and a veterinary professional employing their services. Danella and Agape surpass any other experience I've had professionally or personally with a cremation service. We get ashes returned confident each was handled individually, uniquely, with dignity. If group aka communal cremation is your selection, trust knowing your baby's body is handled with TLC and remains are forever a part of their beautiful Alamance Co property of fenced fields, horses, and wildlife. Agape staff in office as well as couriers transporting beloved pets treat their charges with dignity, tender care, professionalism, and share the grief and compassion with owners as well as the vet team who spent those last moments with their patients. Agape uses thick, nylon opaque body bags zippered for their remains, preventing torn plastic body bags that all other services use. This ensures ease and dignity of handling, especially larger remains poorly supported by the plastic body bags most services use. Sharp claws don't tear the Agape bags. Agape's wood urns have an engraved brass plate included in their baseline individual/private cremation, no additional fee. The clay paw print is framed and engraved with the pet name, also. If requested, they provide an ink print, which many of my vet clients have used to get memorial tattoos and other art. Some other services provide paw prints for a considerable upcharge, or do not offer them at all, so checking with the vet about printing prior to freezing the remains is paramount. Agape will also pickup any necropsied pets from the Rollins Lab in Raleigh, near the vet school, if you or your vet elected this very affordable procedure to discern what caused your pet's death. It's peace of mind if you have other pets exposed to same environment at home, or diagnostics prior to death didn't hold answers we seek. They have scheduled pickups with NCSU-CVM, VSH, and many small and large animal clinics in the Triangle and Triad as well, so after emergency, specialty, or regular family care pets' remains stored at these facilities can be transported to Agape for cremation when owners select aftercare for their pet. Communication with Agape is always timely, courteous, supportive, and clear. They are very organized, tracking each remains efficiently and accurately. For vets, they pickup and deliver on a set schedule that rarely has a delay or hindrance in transport/time, and communicate efficiently with notice if transport schedule delayed so we can call clients. No excuses about short staffing or limited transport vehicles with Agape, as they have multiple staff to prevent this snafu common to other services we've tried. They're highly accessible via cell or office phone, text or call, as well as email, with efficient and friendly responses. Agape will fit in additional pickups as needed when cold storage is overfull. This may seem a given, but other services failed us on busy ER shifts with large bodies or high volume. When transporting personal pets to their property, John helpfully met me at my car with a large cart, transferring my wrapped and coffined babes with dignity and care. All staff were quietly helpful with supportive communication while meeting me, calling or emailing. I love my own engraved, personalized urns and paw prints Agape provided, which really stand out amongst my other pets' urns provided by other services. The hand carved urn I had custom-made from Carolina cedar and burlwood is the only prettier and better formed piece than the Agape provided urns. My senior foster cat paw print is on display at the shelter who sponsored her care, no additional easel or framing/shadowbox needed. Thank you for such elegant and professional service, Agape Pet Services of NC! Thank you Danella, office staff, and couriers! You are appreciated.

While I didn't work with Agape directly, I am so glad that VSH in Cary uses them as their pet services. I didn't order anything special but the box was beautiful and the name plate was great. But what really blew me away was the paw print. They did a phenomenal job! And then today I called to see if I could order just a name plate because we lost our other dog and the place that took care of him didn't even give us a name plate. After taking my information they said "ok, we'll send that out to you tomorrow" without ever asking for payment information! They felt bad that our other dog got returned to us without a name plate! Hopefully we won't need Agape's services anytime in the near future, but when we do, we will absolutely give them a call!

Our dog's death was sudden and traumatizing. Agape handled his cremation with great compassion. Although the box in which they delivered his cremains is beautiful, I am even more taken with the paw print they provided me. I will have them handle all of my pets' cremations in the future.

I first met the wonderful folks at Agape Pet Services of North Carolina in 2017 when we lost our 17 y.o. Arab gelding unexpectedly after colic surgery. They were always kind, gentle, and calm when I spoke with them. They never pushed me to make a decision on his cremains before I was ready. In the past month, I had to say good bye to my 34 y.o. mare and I turned to them once again to take care of her. As before, my every encounter has been one filled with kindness, compassion, patience, and understanding. They take the time to honor your pet and your grief which means more than I can express. They want to make sure you are totally pleased with their services. I have visited there on three occasions after having lost my horses and their facility is pristine and immaculate just as the pictures on their website show. I can not recommend them enough to help you through the loss of your beloved pets! It is so difficult but they make it a bit easier. Thank you Agape Pet Services of North Carolina for honoring beloved animals and taking care of the people who loved them!

Danella kept in touch with me the entire time my dog was In her care. She walked me through everything. And she greeted me when I walked into the building: with a giant hug. She ensured the staff took an amazing print of my dogs paw. The box his ashes are in is Beautiful. Honestly during this hard time: having complete strangers take care of my baby’s body with such DIGNITY, meant so much to me. She even helped me pick out a necklace. And put my best interest first in regards to cost and ergonomics. I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Losing my sweet boy, was the hardest thing I’ve ever endured, but this place went above and beyond to help comfort me and take care of my boys body. He’s gone but never forgotten, I will always recommend this amazing establishment! They aren’t just a funeral service: they are family.

I just had an extremely poor experience with this company. My cat disappeared on a Thursday, but I found her body the next day outdoors. Given the summer heat, there were already maggots on her body. I covered her in a cloth and placed her body in a cardboard box to hand over to the Agape Pet Services rep who picked her up. The company representative at the office specifically asked if I wanted a memorial clay paw print impression, and I said I did. After the remains were returned to me a week later, the paw print was missing. When I inquired about it, I was told that the employee who processed the remains determined that my cat's state of decomposition was too great to take a paw print impression. No one called to notify me of this issue. This is not something that can be fixed now. My cat's body is already gone. I know that a body cannot decompose to that degree in a day. I asked to speak to a manager that Friday after receiving the remains, but none was there. I asked for the manager to call me back upon her return Monday. As of Wednesday, still no phone call returned. I called again, did speak to the manager/owner, and she told me sorry, but her employees are her priority, and they find this handling of pet bodies that are in less-than-pristine condition too unpleasant. (This a business that picks up dead bodies and cremates them. Death isn't pretty. What do they expect???) In addition, I had previously asked if they could let me know if they found any wounds or injuries when they processed her body. I told them I knew this is not part of the service, but I was heartbroken over what could have caused my cat's death. They assured me they would be happy to ask the technician to examine her. When I inquired about it later, they said that they had examined her and not found any wounds. I mentioned this to the manager today, wondering how they could examine a body for wounds but be unable to take a paw print impression. She exclaimed, "That's not our job!" Bottom line: This company may not keep any commitments promised to customers. If there is a problem in delivering the service a company offers to customers, they should notify the customer immediately. Saying sorry, it's not our job is not what people want to hear after losing a much-loved pet. These multiple misrepresentations now cast doubt about whether my cat actually even received a private cremation or whether I truly received her ashes.

Our bird recently passed away and he was our most loved companion. We debated having him stuffed, but the taxidermists I called were cold and uninterested in helping. I decided to call Agape Pet Cremation. I want to say what a great experience I had with Agape, they were very compassionate and even brought him back to me to see if I needed/wanted any more time with him. They treated me with such compassion and respect! They were also very affordable and their office is clean and comfortable. Thank you again for treating our situation with kindness! They were absolutely amazing. So kind and sympathetic. This was one of the hardest times in my families life. We lost our bestfriend of 15 years. Thanks to Agape we were able to bring him home with us to watch over us. They went above and beyond. Will definitely be recommending this services to all my freinds and family.
