One of our feral cats was severely injured. Blunt hit in the eye and a hole in her back foot. Carthage Animal hospital did surgery and sent her home the same day! They are my hero's! What a beautiful job they did and she has not had any problems. A BIG THANK YOU!

My dog Buck was attack and subsequently injured. The Techs checked on his injuries, made recommendations. After a complete check up x-rays were used. He was tender, and in pain. That was a great relief, it could have been worse. Dana was our Tech. Thanks ????

Got there at 0800, signed the walk in list that starts at 0990, wasn't seen until 0930. Didn't cut my dogs nails right and terrible customer service.

We needed to get a blood test and a rabies shot for one of our (nine) dogs. Timing was off (long story) and our normal vet couldn't fit us in in the time frame we needed. So we called carthage animal hospital and they said we could do a walk-in. I show up, sign-in, wait for nearly 45 minutes in the parking lot, and finally get a call from the office saying that we need to do a physical first and it's going to be a long wait (but can't tell me how long). This is obviously a low-rent place that tries to nickel-and-dime customers. Worse still, the office staff are either incompetent (telling us that they can accommodate out needs without a physical - which we specifically asked about) or they are outright liars. I'm not sure which one is worse. If you actually care about your animals, stay far away from this place.

I wanted to let you all know about my experience today with Carthage Animal Hospital for a pet emergency. My new cat snuck out last night and was found this morning with what appeared to be a puncture wound in his belly. I drove him to Carthage Animal Hospital and arrived at opening. They immediately saw him and treated him. They didn't ask me to drop him off or wait. I was so impressed. Just wanted to let you guys know how they treat their patients in the event of an emergency.

First time using them. Had a great experience. Vet was through and answered all my questions.

Tim is THE BEST! He always takes acceptionalcare of my pets. CUDOS to his assistants and front desk personnel!

The vet techs and doctors are so friendly and caring. My questions were answered and they were very gentle with my big hound dog. A shout out to the front desk staff for being awesome too!!

They were fast and straight to the point and didn't try to haggle me. The staff was super friendly and very attentive to my fur baby's needs and fairly reasonable price.

Took us with a walk in...they were wonderful...friendly staff...gave lots of info and options for treatment. My puppy Max has improved greatly since start of treatment. Made us all very happy.

Love them. They really care about your pets.

Only place take my Ellie. Been going there for 25 yrs with my other sweet 4 that passed. Dr. Tim is the best and also the all staff!

Everyone there is so friendly and they are extremely compassionate to your pets needs and concerns as well as their owners!

Dr. Tim Boyte is an AWSOME Veterinarian... He has years of Education and devotion to animals. Dr. Boyte truly loves every animal that comes into his office. Love is the key word with Dr. Boyte.

They are AWESOME, They explain things so you understand. They took very good care of Oreo and called me with updates when she had to stay overnight ❤️
