I am in no way unhappy with this office. The vet is fantastic. When I went to check out the bill was $48 for a $36 office visit. I was told corporate added the “clinical support” charge of $12 so they didn’t have to raise the office visit rate? Well Thrive, this is unacceptable. ThisI industry did not suffer the pandemic, pets need care and got it. Why would you raise your rates when it is not justified at all I am not a happy consumer.

You hung up on me.

I was quoted $180 for my visit, when I got there (after waiting past my appointment time) I was told it would actually be $505. The technician was extremely rude and obviously did not care about my pet at all. Basically told me there was nothing she could do and that I could leave.

Prepare to wait!! No plan to return.

Really great with dogs not so much with people. Honestly the care for my dog was top notch. But as far as my experience for myself not very empathetic towards what I have going on. You can care about dogs but if you want to create “regulars” it’s starts with the owners. Saying something simple as “hi, how are you and hope your day goes well” goes a long way. Where did people start losing that inability to connect with other people. Anyway I will continue to take my dog here irregardless for sure because like I said the care is top notch but I don’t expect the people to be as nice to me as they are with my dog.

I understand their job is to evaluate and recommend but I also understand quality customer service and friendliness. I feel like the staff was very detached and somewhat condescending. My daughter also stated she felt as if they were belittling us. The way the spoke to us made us not want to return there for services. Customer service should not be based on price of the service.

I have been looking for days for a place that would take my Honey Glazed Bunns same day and I happen to come across this wonderful clinic. I decided to take a chance and make her an appointment and guess what?! I was able to get an appointment the following hour! I swear I heard the angels singing. Since this was her first ever vet visit, I was terrified. What would happen? How would she do? How would I do? Well we get there and there was no wait. I was met with patience and was asked very detailed questions about my baby girl. We checked how much she weighed and off she went. At this point, after talking to the nice lady, I wasn't terrified just nervous for my baby. While she was taken away, happily might I add, I did a bit of shopping for her. I thought she would've been in a state after this so a treat was in order. By the time I was done and playing with the adorable kittens in the store, I was called by the vet. My baby did wonderfully! With each sentence my nervousness went away and pride quickly took its place. They told me they loved her! I was informed in detailed what was done with her and what the tests said. I caught myself bragging about her. They even gave her some treats while she was with them. I knew she was sold at that point lol. Greedy as she is. I was ready to give them every dollar I had! But, I didn't have to because the price of everything was so surprising cheaper then I even imagined it would be. I was so happy with everything, I cried in the car when we left because I was so relieved after so much anxiety. They were so caring. It was almost like they knew she was my baby, my lifeline and treated her as such. I will be taking her here for now on. She apparently was comfortable with them and was happy to be there. This is her vet now and I'm happy about it!

They took excellent care of my dog. The staff made me feel like family, even though it was my first time there.❤❤❤

They are all nice and friendly towards the pets. My cat hates being out of the house but doesn’t freak being here.

Our dog Zack was ill and Dr. Alcorn was was always very attentive and caring. When his condition got worse she gave us all the options to try which we did. We were faced with a very difficult decision for our Zack and she helped reassure us we were doing the right and humane decision for him. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor! On Zack’s final day, our family was comforted by Kristi. She was was amazing and was very compassionate!!! Kristi was very sensitive and attentive to our needs. She knew exactly what we were going through. Kristi even took the time take paw prints and picked out a beautiful urn for Zack. She went out of her way to ease our pain!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better team!!! They are truly professionals with big hearts!!! I would highly recommend them!!! Cannot thank them enough!!!

My experience has been life changing. I have been taking my 5 year old Pit-lab mix to the first Care animal Hospital for roughly 3 years with the same skin issues. Spent hundreds of dollars on medicated shampoo, medicated paw foam, and injections with no results or even change in treatment. This year I decided to take him to Thrive. After speaking the vet about my experience, treatments and doing a pathology exam, we’re getting to the root for the problems. The vet prescribed antibiotics and the difference has been huge. My dog isn’t constantly scratching or licking his paws all night. We still have some time left in the treatment but I’m finally thrill to see my pup skin clear up.

ive been once with my dog before and they did an excellent job however today my dog did something to hurt his eye i called before hand saying it was an emergency and if they could just look at it and make sure it was nothing serious… they told me they have no openings till tuesday!!! so if my dog was bit by a snake i would have to wait 4-5 business days?!?

Very affordable vet care that won’t try to upsell you on things you didn’t come in for in the first place. Sam was amazing and explained everything thoroughly to me and gave great suggestions. She answered all of my questions and got me in and out within 15 minutes.

No EMPATHY, WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS ONE EVER. I made the appointment because I needed the service and I wasn't given the information about the cut off late time. This was the only time I had to make this appointment and I took off so I can get my pet vaccines. There was no consideration for me coming from near Clayton and the young lady Christy did not even try to work me me especially after I told her the check in process was not told to me!!! Very DISAPPOINTED!!!!

The vets here are exceptional and really are caring. Kristi went above and beyond to help with everything I've needed for my kitten! This is the only vet I go to and plan to go to!

I took my 3 cats and my dog to get there rabies shots,I got no paper work and no tag for my dog and two tags for one cat and two papers with different information regarding my cat,no weight was put on any of the paper work,no sex was put on the paper work.When I spoke to the lady there she act like it was no big deal,she told me the tags were just for looks that I didn't need them I just needed the paperwork,well I got no paper work for my dog and two different papers for my cat.I won't go back.

My visit on 5/22/21 to have my beloved pet put to sleep w/ Dr. Jordan and the ding dong nurse whom did not listen to me took away my chance to say goodbye to my angel. So warning make sure you repeat several times what you want becuase apparently twice isn't enough.

So let’s talk about my experience. First time had me sign up for they’re plan that they used that visit and that’s it, I even forgot about it. Whatever the first time It was okay, only reason I went back. But after that, they basically just took my money other than appointments for shots. If you want a long term vet that truly cares about your pet, this place isn’t it.

Called to find out pricing for routine care and the person that answered claimed their vets set pricing individually, no baseline price list to go from. I would think they would care about transparency but I guess not.looking at the other reviews this and overpriced services are a common problem.

Called to ask about the price for spaying a cat that I rescued and was told "We cannot provide a price range". Hmm. Seems like they don't have standardized price ranges for the surgeries like most vet offices do (base price + additional payment if pregnant or in heat, etc.) which gave me a very off vibe.... Guess who's not getting my business!

Came in to get my cat and dog checked in the last few times I’ve been here. Been coming here for about 2 years, and each time the doc and crew got my fur babies taken care of. Had to to bring my cat recently for some updated shots and it was done within 30 minutes. Thanks a ton to Nick and crew for the help.

Worst vet In Raleigh Nc. I’d recommend going elsewhere because this place is very unprofessional. Brought all three dogs here and the service I paid for was terrible. They give out false info to get your animals taken away.

I have been taking my puppy Hank here after a bad experience at the location in Cary. Dr. Jordan and the staff there have been nothing short of amazing! They are on time, prompt, and thorough. Dr. Jordan entertains all of my silly questions too.

I have been going to THRIVE for about a year now, and everyone who works there has always been so great with both me and my pup. Nick is always at the front desk when I go and knows me and my dog by name. He is extremely knowledgeable and always a great help. pre-covid they would always bring in frozen peanut butter cups for my dog during a checkup, so I am sure he would give them 5 stars as well. I do think they are a little on the pricey side, but because of their convenient location and great service, I would say it is worth it. Especially so I can go over to the shop next door and spoil my pup after a great doctor visit. I have continued to go there even after I moved away.
