Our dog had a cyst that burst on her back. While they couldn't see us that day since one of their Dr.s had COVID, they asked us to send us some pictures which the doctor was able to look at and called us back with some recommendations. All of this was while we WEREN'T existing customers. We immediately made an appointment for the following week and are now Swift Creek patients. Ultra-friendly, aren't over-selling you on services for your pet, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend over a Banfield or other vet.

No complaints at all. Great experience! I feel confident that my dog will receive excellent medical attention from the caring and knowledgeable team at Swift Creek. Dr Smith is wonderful!

Swift Creek Animal Hospital is an incredible place and I am happy to take my cats there for routine visits. Even when my boys are scared (or angry!), the vets and vet techs are kind and gentle with them. I lost my 18-year-old cat in March 2021 and Swift Creek made a terrible experience bearable. They have a customer for life.

Great care for my puppy, and the staff worked with me. The bill was a bit of a shock since the last time I was there with a puppy a few years ago. Covid seems to be raising costs everywhere, I guess.

Our four-legged family member had a 7:10 AM appt. for surgery this morning. We arrived at 7:00 AM and soon after another employee arrived, waiting for someone to arrive to open the office. At 7:20, a woman arrived and unlocked the front door, saying, 'I'll be with you in just a minute!' Other 'vet tech-looking' people arrived as we continued to wait for someone to help. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes, we left. If this is how they treat four-legged family members who can't speak for themselves, I'll speak for them: FIND A BETTER VET OFFICE!!! This was the last of several unpleasant experiences of the 13 years we've repeatedly returned to Swift Creek Animal Hospital hoping for better results! NO MORE!!! Convenient location and lower prices don't make up for the lack of professionalism, compassion, and reliability!

Front office staff has gotten really bad over the last year. They forget to get subscriptions, they forget to write down appointments. Pretty much a bad experience all together. I would suggest finding another place just due to the front desk.

We were new patients with a sick/distressed cat. Could not have been a better experience. My stress level going in, for a variety of reasons, was off the chart. We needed to leave the cat for an hour or so for diagnostics. Even then, I felt SO much better. We are still navigating the diagnosis and final treatment decisions, but at this point I am VERY confident we are in great hands.

Best and most accommodating vet I’ve been to so far. My cats Frank and Charlie never seem to mind being there. Got lots of great advice for introducing the new cat when we adopted Frank from Swift Creek last year. You could tell they put a lot of thought into the curbside process during COVID, and while it may have taken a little longer than usual, the check in process was always quick and professional. And, I see it’s just been renovated. Sometimes I board my cats there, and they’ve been taken care of very nicely. Overall, awesome place!

Everyone is awesome at Swift Creek Animal Hospital. The vets always take time to talk to me about what's going on with our dogs and ask lots of questions to make sure I don't forget to tell them something important. The vets, technicians, and front desk staff seem to genuinely love our dogs and want the best for them.

I rescued a senior cat that had been nursed back to health by the SPCA after she was abandoned and left to become emaciated. She turned out to be the sweetest lap kitty someone could ever ask for: "Widdle Kitty" Widdle Kitty consumed poison. She ate a flea medicine meant for a large dog. There was a warning to contact the vet as soon as possible in case it was ingested by a cat. So I did. I called Swift Creek Animal Hospital to find out what they wanted me to do as they were my primary vet. Initially they said that they information about that medicine and would have to call me back after they spoke to the manufacturer of Simparica trio. They place me on hold and didn't return my call. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I called Swift Creek back as I wanted help for my cat and wanted to know if I could bring her in. They placed me on hold and never came back on the line. I went online and tried to contact the ASPCA Poison Control line but was unable to reach someone. At this point I was beside myself with concern and worry about the health of my cat so I called Swift Creek back. I contacted another Animal Hospital an emergency hospital on Tryon who referred me to NC State Veterinary School as they were unwilling or unable to assist with a poisoning as they were full up. I admit at this time I was very upset that no one offered to help my baby who unintentionally poisoned herself. I called NC State who referred me t the Pet Poison Control line. I also spoke to another Animal Hospital during that time as a second opinion who referred me to the same Pet Poison Control line who charged me $65.00 and gave me a solution and saved my cats life. After calling NC State I called Swift Creek back and they placed me on hold for another 10 minutes. I threatened to write this review. After 1 hr 15 min the vet called me back. And said that they could help but it would cost me and I could get the same or better level of care at another hospital. I was given the choice to bring kitty in at $195.00 for an initial consultation. At no time was I told by Swift Creek Animal Hospital to contact the Pet Poison Control Line or much else for that matter. I am glad other people have had better experiences with this place than I have. However, this review is the last they will hear from me as I have a new vet. On that is responsive, kind, compassionate and understanding. One that takes the life of my pet family as seriously as I do. It's name isn't a chain or corporate vet and it certainly isn't "Swift Creek Animal Hospital":

We have been bringing out pets (cats and dogs) for over two decades, and love the practice! Dr. Gintis has has carefully attended to our furry family, and we have every confidence in him and his staff of capable, caring, and friendly, animal-loving people. They have helped us with new adopted pets, to the final days, surgeries, dog training and annual exams in between. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else!! Excellent, convenient, thorough and fair-priced veterinary care.

I've been bringing my dog to Swift Creek for 3+ years now and she's always gotten great care. My dog had an ACL tear that they helped repair and my dog has never felt better! They have a excellent staff, I've seen Dr. Bost and Dr. O'Brien and they both have been awesome!
