I have been taking my 11 year old lab to Crossroads since I moved here 7 years ago. He has seen multiple different vets at this location and every single one plus the vet techs were wonderful. My dog is animal reactive so I'm always super anxious when I take him in, but they do everything they can to keep him on his own and relaxed. There prices are super reasonable and they never try to charge me for things I don't need. As long as I'm in Raleigh I will always go to Crossroads!

Very good service and priced where you can afford it! Vet was super knowledgeable and put us at ease over our senior dogs cough we were really worried about! Thanks so much!!! Will return with our other 2 dogs.❤

I’ve been taking my animals to Crossroads Vet for probably 25 years or more. Even after moving 45 minutes away, I still drive back to Crossroads for vet care. The front desk staff, the vet techs, Dr. Albright, Dr.Williams, Dr.Beam - they’re all fabulous. Good people with good hearts who love animals.

The staff at this veterinary clinic are extremely kind and compassionate. I chose this office because of the “small town feel”. It does not feel like a big corporate style veterinary hospital. It is also a highly successful woman owned business- which I always try to support! This place just- feels different. Give it a try!

After a nice visit, my dog got sick from too many treats given to him by the vet. When I called the vet back to ask if there is anything I should do, they told me to bring him in for some testing at my expense. This was surprising to me since the treats made him sick. They told me that I had to pay because I had disclosed that my dog got sick during our relocation/move. However, the move was nearly 3 weeks ago and has nothing to do with his current condition. Very disappointing that the finger was pointed at me instead of having any opportunity for discussion or offering to take a look at him without a charge.

I have a very nervous chihuahua that hates going to the vet. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Pease and the staff. She was very gentle and patient with our cranky, nervous pup. I am so glad I made the switch to Crossroads after previously going to a different vet that felt a bit cold.

DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOUR DOG CHEESE WIZ. My dog has been sick for two days after my visit. When I asked to bring my dog in to check his fluids, I was told I would be charged because it couldn't be proven it wasn't from a previous episode (which had resolved itself) earlier this month.

Dropped my dogs off for boarding and went to pick our dogs up and the girl who was checking us out charged us for boarding but then couldn’t tell us if our dogs were given nexgard flea prevention which was asked to be given to our dogs while we were gone. Then tried to charge me $278 for 2 nexgards…. Then our dog was left with his cone Bc he goes at his skin when boarding and they said they could not find it and maybe he tore it up. This place is a mess and very unprofessional. Will not board my dogs here ever again. Now as far as the owner she is great but the staff needs some work. Dr pease is an amazing dr as well.

*updated 12/2019, below* I love all the vets that I've seen here. Compassionate, great care. One thing that makes them stand out is that they're happy to discuss different options based on what you can afford without making you feel like a bad pet parent. I had another vet recommend that my dog get a teeth cleaning, but their prices had gone up so I searched out other vets. Crossroads prices were maybe 2/3 the cost of the other vet. On top of that, when I went, the vet said that she didn't really need a teeth cleaning. Saved me lots of money. Had another incident where my dog got bitten, vet recommended stitches but I told her money was tight and she was happy to discuss other options without making me feel like I was nickel and diming my dog's health. *Update 12/2019: I haven't been happy with the last couple of vets that I've seen. Most recently the vet (Dr. Smith) was very curt and delivered extremely upsetting news very abruptly. Don't sugar coat it, but also don't just toss it out there like a bomb and make me feel like a bad pet owner for being upset. Plus, I work in biomedical sciences yet she was still talking so fast and using jargon that I had to ask her to slow down and explain things. I asked if the issue could be related to my dog's anxiety at being at the vet and Dr. Smith seemed offended. Later she mentioned that she had a vet student confirm the diagnosis, as if I had made her feel defensive. I used to love them, but they seem to have had a lot of turnover of vets in the last few years (at least one of whom left abruptly; she told me I could call to discuss options with her but then when I called a week later she wasn't there anymore, no explanation). There have been a few times where I emailed records to them but then when I went for an appointment they hadn't made it into the chart. I used to love this vet and hate to change my rating, but there have been too many little things over the years and now our most recent visit was just so awful. I plan to keep going to them but specifically request Dr. Beam for future visits, who is wonderful and compassionate and doesn't make you feel dumb or like a bad pet owner. *2021: updated again now that Dr. Smith is no longer there. We've been seeing Dr. Williams and she's wonderful, as is (most) everyone else we've seen over the years.

We have a very fearful and anxious foster dog. The vet and staff have gone above and beyond and helping him feel safe during his visits. Laura trimmed his nails today and did an outstanding job helping him cope with this new situation. I am grateful there are places like Crossroads Vet that we can turn to with our pets.

Crossroads has been my vet for 16 plus years. I have always felt my animals wellbeing and my concerns/fears were important to any of the vets I happened to see. Thanks for taking such good care of all my dogs over the years! It has been a relief to know I can count on you!

Outstanding staff and talented veterinarians. My pup had a major surgery here and I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. Highly recommended! Caring, compassionate and friendly!

The veterinarians are awesome, knowledgeable and friendly however most of the staff could care less about you or your pet. The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Why the owner allows this is beyond me? Anyone can write a good review, please read the bad reviews, over and over you will read about how this place lacks compassion and how unprofessional the staff is. Here are just a few comments I read, wish I read this prior to being treated so poorly! 1.Brought our cat here for a check-up and our dog here for grooming (just a nail trim) at the recommendation of a friend. The vet was fine & nice enough, but the customer service is seriously lacking. 2.In addition, the majority of the vet techs working the reception area are not friendly or pleasant at all. so disappointing 3. Very unprofessional employee, attitude & appearance! 4. Awful experience and poor customer service!!! 5. What gets me is that they never made any effort to get back with me to inform me of their outrageous decision to allow Buddy to be in pain untill an open appointment and my schedule could mesh, which would of been within a few days! 6. Absolutely miserable experience

I used to take my pets to them when we lived in the triangle. We just moved to California for work because of covid, and our poor dog had run out of his meds. He’s really itchy. I can’t afford a new patient visit at a vet right now so I tried ordering his prescriptions through chewy.com. All crossroads had to do was approve it. They refused. My poor boy can’t walk down the stairs without itching. Mind you this is medication he had been prescribed by crossroads before. They said I have to get the meds from them. They won’t work with chewy.com. Clearly, that’s because I pay chewy and not them. So they do t care about the well being of our animals, they care more about their bottom line. Now my good boy has to suffer because they just won’t click yes. It’d be completely fine if I went in there a got them from crossroads. This is insane. I just want my dog to be comfortable, but they’re more concerned with getting paid.

Staff and Drs took extra time with my 10 y/o dog that does not like strangers, they were able to take her inside and complete her exam while we waited outside. She handled the whole experience well due to how well the staff handled the situation!

Dr. Beam is very compassionate, and overall amazing! I saw her with my beagle for the first time today. She went over all my possible options for the day, and she explained everything she was doing. Highly recommend Crossroads Veterinary Hospital!

I have been coming to Crossroads for over 20 years. They have been with me through the deaths of two beloved dogs and continue to care for my mini dachsaund. Very careful and competent group of veterinarians.

This place is wonderful!!!! They are so caring and always provide me with all of my options but are so understanding when certain things are out of my price range. They've stayed on the phone with me to walk me through things rather than just telling me my only option was an emergency vet. I recommend them to all of my friends because it really is the best practice I've ever taken my pets to.

Dr Albright and her team are excellent. They're all extremely professional and really caring. Our dogs are always happy to go in!! Monty loves them all despite being in a cast and having 7+ visits in 11 weeks ! And sweet Murphy is like a pup again after recent surgery to remove a malignant growth. We strongly recommend Crossroads Veterinary Hospital! Thank you all ❤

My partner and I have taken our two animals here for a few months now at the recommendation of my best friend who also loves going here, and we're all super happy! We have a reactive dog and an older cat, and they treat them both so wonderfully. I love everyone I've met here so far, but especially Dr. Pease. She's always handled our cat, Binx, and the way she talks about him and cares for him literally makes us tear up sometimes. I've only seen her once in person because of Covid, but her personality and love for animals oozes through the phone. Binx has some balance issues, and she has always been very upfront, but incredibly sweet, about what we can do next to help him and what medications would work best. Simply put, I love her! I hope she makes a million dollars an hour! Our sweet, anxious dog, Myles, has seen a variety of docs at Crossroads, and they're very understanding and patient with his reactivity. He loves people, so I'm not picky about who he sees so he can meet everyone, lol! All the doctors he's seen have also been super sweet and helpful, so absolutely no complaints there! The only negative thing I'll even dare to say is that sometimes when it gets busy, it takes a bit to get our card/medications back, but truly that's so minor considering how wonderful everyone is. I will definitely continue to take our animals here and recommend to friends!!

This being my long time care place for my cats when I lived in Cary was the best decision I made for my cats care. We had to put one of our cats down because she wasn’t eating, walking, etc. They were very empathic and kind. They allowed us time to be with her before, during, and after. I trust them completely with my pets and even recommend them to my best friend who takes his cats there too now. The vets there are kind and explain everything in great detail.
