My car got ran off the road by a 18 wheeler in front of their business and I asked the lady if I can leave it there until Tomorrow she said yes . They didn’t communicate and they towed my car after they said I can leave it until I get a tire.

Removed my previous review from a few years ago. I wouldn't personally recommend this vet.

Dr. Gore treated our cat for cancer and was there for him to the very end. She and her Staff are outstanding. We couldn't have chosen a better veterinarian.

This facility came highly recommended to us and has lived up to the hype. Caring professionals made up the facilities work force.

Dr. Gore and her staff do everything in the best interest of your pet. Dr. Gore has had to perform two emergency surgeries for my dog, and every time I felt completely confident in the team's abilities. In addition, their boarding and daycare is fantastic - the dogs are given a lot of exercise time and aren't just penned up in a cage the whole time you're gone.

I got brought in as a new "kennel tech". Didn't call me for weeks prior, didn't discuss pay, or anything. Just come in. In these times, I did it. Well, my very first day, I got bit by an aggressive dog WHO THEY ADMITTED THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS DOG BEFORE. They acted like they cared while I was there, I thought it was ok. Now I'm jobless during a pandemic because of a dog they allowed into their boarding knowing she was aggressive with not just other dogs but with people as well. Maybe next time think about your employees instead

The week of Thanksgiving last year I had a terrible family emergency that required me to go out of town at a moments notice. I called around everywhere locally and understandably everywhere was booked for the holiday. when i called Spring Forest I was so upset due to the circumstances and they were so kind and gracious and moved mountains to make room for my dog to stay for the week. I continue to bring my dog here and he LOVES everyone there!

Up until vacation over Labor Day, I would’ve recommended this boarding facility to anyone. When I picked up my dog from boarding, I noticed the scratches on her nose. She gets anxious when I leave her and bites at the fence. No biggie, I assumed that’s what happened. However, when I got her home her behavior was odd, she was trying to hide rather than being her normal playful self. When I sat down to play with her, I immediately noticed why. Apparently she’d been bitten at boarding and we were never notified. When I called the facility the next day, the boarding manager had zero knowledge of what happened. I texted her the photos and she reached out to all employees that worked that weekend. I eventually got the story that Belle was “fence fighting” with another dog on that Saturday. Supposedly it was broken up quickly and both dogs were examined and no injuries were noticed. The following day Belle had a full service bath prior to me picking her up. So this was twice she was supposedly “checked over” and no one noted her injuries. None of these employees called the manager on call to let them know about the fence fighting issue over the weekend which they are supposed to. No one was up front with me on what happened either, I had to dig for answers. I don’t even believe what I was told. If it was just “fence fighting” then why does she have teeth marks in her ears and on her chin? I signed papers to have belle be “not socialized” meaning not in group play. Belle was abused by prior owners to the point she was shot by one of them. I know she gets nervous easily in new situations. I did not want her socialized because I didn’t want her to get nervous around a dog she didn’t know and harm them. They’ve ignored this before and put her in group play. My belief is that they did this again and she was bitten by another dog and no one wanted to say that. I could be wrong but I just don’t see how she got all of this from “fence fighting.” I’m pretty livid tho that after two separate “thorough checks” no staff noted these wounds. I asked for a partial refund because the lack of care she received is un acceptable. I received zero response to my request. I understand some dogs just aren’t going to get along and fight. If that’s the case, fine. My problem is that no one was up front with me about her injuries and I had to dig to find answers that I don’t even believe to be true. I’m also entirely disappointed that they did not respond to my request for a refund. If the care your employees provide is neglectful and sub par, as it was in Belle’s case, then I need to be refunded for the money I spent on what I expected to be quality care for my baby while I was out of town. In summary, do NOT leave your dog at this boarding facility.

The staff is incredibly nice and so caring for animals. I take my dog to the daycare and she LOVES them. She is always so excited to see them when we come in and they treat her as their own. They take pictures during the day and share them when you pick up. Plus prices are very reasonable! Really I can't say enough about this place. I am very happy I found SFAH!

I've been taking our dog to Dr. Gore for the past 6 years. She really is the best around and Sophie loves her and the staff. She is a vet I can trust and I wouldn't take our dog to anyone else. So glad we found her!

Do not take your pet here!! They are greedy!! Too much to explain what happened but please do not take your pet here, they only care about getting hundreds and hundreds of dollars in unnecessary work. I called a new vet and wow, what a difference!

I take my yorkie Neno here for daycare and border. Neno loves this place and so do I. If he's happy I'm happy. The staff is very friendly and I wouldn't take my Neno no where else.

They employ greedy and shady tactics. Update: The issue was that our vet did carry the medication, but only online and we were trying to get a dose sooner. Also, we had a manufacturer’s coupon for a free dose. You were not willing to honor the manufacturer’s coupon and insisted that we buy it instead. You lied to my face by saying you called the manufacturer and said they told you they wouldn’t honor it, because I called them afterwards and gave them the coupon and vet information and they said you were able to honor it, so I had them call you and tell you that, and you still refused to honor it. So let’s not pretend like you were turning me away to protect my pet or your license. You were being shady, and greedy, like I said.

I took my dog to be de-shedded. She looked good hen i picked her up but later i started noticing fur clumps everywhere. I took a picture and emailed them. They responded that the clumps were normal and should be gone in a couple of days. A week later i found a de-shedding brush and did it myself. If i hadn't had it done by an excellent groomer in Amarillo, i would have believed them. I emailed them again a week ago and heard nothing. The staff was really nice but the job was poor in this instance.

Dr. Gore and Spring Forest Animal Hospital have been taking care of our cats for 18-19 years. I've always felt that she's done a wonderful job at a reasonable cost. She genuinely cares and is compassionate about what she does. I feel that she’s honest with you and always makes us feel welcomed when there. Her staff does a great job in assisting you and explaining the details of any procedure. Our cat Ally lived 19 years up until Jan. 2019. I credit our care with her being an INDOOR ONLY cat and the care of Dr. Gore and her staff allowing Ally to reach her senior years of good living. Thank you to everyone at Spring Forest Animal hospital and I wish you all many successful years to come. The Cary family.
