Melanie was fantastic and patient with our anxious dog. She clearly has knowledge in force-free, positive animal handling and understands how to work with animals that may be scared of her. By the end of the hour, my dog was giving her kisses. Melanie is very sociable and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to during the session as well. Highly recommend!

Melanie is amazing and does incredible work! I’m so grateful to her for helping my 12.5-year-old lab mix that had severe pain and limpness in his right leg/hind leg due to a bulging disc in his neck. When Melanie started working with Charlie, he couldn’t get up by himself and kept falling due to the limpness on his right side. It was heartbreaking BUT after weekly sessions with Melanie (and acupuncture), Charlie started to improve dramatically. He now gets up on his own, hasn’t fallen in over a week and he wants to go outside and enjoy the things he used to love before this happened. He’s truly back to his happy self and I’m so grateful to Melanie for bringing her knowledge, expertise, positive energy and love for what she does to our sweet boy Charlie.

Melanie has absolutely changed my dog's quality of life. She has been providing Dutchess with monthly massage for over a year, and her mobility and energy has been completely restored. I have a "high arousal" dog who doesn't like to be pet very much and is highly reactive to everything she encounters in her environment. The first time Melanie came to see her, she couldn't even get my dog onto her massage table because she was so strung out. By the third visit, Melanie massaged my dog to sleep! Whenever we adopt another pet, Melanie is going to be one of the first people we have to support our new fury friend. We recently adopted another awesome black cat (or rather he adopted us!) Antonio, 3, and our older cat Joey, 11, was having a hard time. Melanie has done reiki/energy healing on both the boys and have been immensely helpful. Joey's stress has gone down and he is coming out of his shell more. She also introduced us to aromatherapy hydrosols and we have ordered some. Melanie was able to tell me that Joey might have the start of osteoarthritis. She was able to see this without seeing him walk, but told me some signs. I had seen Joey bunny hop before, so we were able to make some adjustments for him. Hiring Melanie is not a luxury for us. She is part of our healthy pets team and helping support a happy, healthy household!
