Daisy is usually nervous around people she doesn’t know, but she seems to really like Karen. She went for a grooming today, third one at Rover Pet Salon, and waltzed right up to the front door happy as a clam. After nine years of groomer hopping, we have finally found our groomer. Karen is the best! Updating this review, Karen continues to provide incredible service. This is the best pet salon!

Unfortunately, I got to the salon 3 minutes late, the door was locked so I knocked, no answer. I gave the owner a call, she said she was already working on her other dogs and she wasn’t going to accept my dogs because I was late, I simply told her I’d been waiting outside for a few minutes. She cut me off saying I wasn’t there at 9 when she locked up and she wasn’t going to argue and that I needed to call back and reschedule, as I was saying “perfect, thank you” she hung up on me…. Of course it’s a Karen, what did I expect haha At this point she’s loosing clients because of her bad attitude, just look at the other reviews, you’ll realize this is a common issue. I will not be returning. I found my boys a great groomer, Kelly at “Styles 4 Paws”.

We have taken our dogs here for many years. Excellent, always. 5-stars plus. I always know my dog is in good hands here and my dog likes them.

I made an appointment for my labradoodle to be groomed at Rover. When I made the appointment I let the owner know that my three boys would be with me and asked if that would be a problem and was told it would not be. When we arrived to drop off our pet the owner was keeping her standard poodle puppy in a flimsy kennel in the small lobby. The puppy was as interested in my boys as they were in him but it was clearly made known that I was to keep my children far away from the puppy, which I made every effort to do. Anyone with children will understand that it is often easier said than done to corral children while also conducting a business conversation. Ultimately I felt as though the owners choice to bring her pet to her place of business was my problem and did not feel welcome as a mother of small children. In the future I would suggest that the owner let customers know that her lobby is not child friendly and that pets should be dropped off whenever possible without children along. And if she doesn’t want to loose business from families with children perhaps she could invest in a better kennel or leave her own pet at home.

I have not had much luck with grooming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. (I have had three over the years). Rover Pet Salon did a truly superior job, taking off just enough hair without shaving the dog within an inch of its life. Great job.

I was very excited to book my first appointment seeing I’ve heard such amazing things about this salon, I over slept and was late for the drop off. When I walked in I immediately was met with the owner who gave me the WORST attitude, I apologized and asked to please reschedule. When given the days available, I told her to please give me a second so I can call my significant other and make sure that worked for either of us for picking up purposes. With an attitude she told me just to call her later she had stuff to do. I’ve never been treated so poorly, I understand I was late. But customer service is EVERYTHING, there is no reason to ever treat someone who is trying to acquire business from you. I am shocked. I’m sure her services are amazing but her poor attitude needs to change.

The owner is rude and unreasonable. She does a decent job grooming but her attitude is horrible and too demanding considering I am the customer. It is as if she is doing me a favor. There are plenty other groomers in Raleigh with a more welcoming attitude than this place. Don't do business with her unless you are prepared to be pushed around and mistreated as the customer. Her comfort level is more important than her business.

Won’t be going back. Clipped my dogs nail too short and didn’t tell me (my dogs nails are NOT black). I found out by seeing blood all on my car seat.

Karen and the crew at Rover are excellent! My pets have been receiving top-notch services from Karen for more than 18 years and I am so thankful for the great care both of our dogs received. I highly recommend!

The lady has such a bad attitude! I could not find her place even though it was our third visit. I am not in town much. At 9:24 am we walked in (They ask you to be there before nine.) I called twice to ask for help navigating they would not answer my frantic calls on trying to get directions! I walked in at 9:24 she was so ugly and did not care that I had called looking for her place and not answering. I would never deal with these people!!!

Rover Pet Salon did a fantastic job on our dog, Emmy! Karen groomed her and I couldn't believe the difference, when I went to pick her up. She even put a cute little bandana on her and she looked adorable! Emmy said to tell you "Thank you" and that she loves her summer cut.

I have been bringing my cat...(yes my cat)...here for years. They are amazing!!! They always get him in quickly and he looks and feels so much better after his visit with Rover pet salon. I highly recommend them!

Top Notch. Professional grooming not some hack job and a shampoo. extras as well. Dogs treated well and had a great time. Would highly recommend them to anyone!
