Been going here through the lives of two dogs…about 28 years seeing Dr. Manchester and then Dr. Cassidy. They are great Veterinarians who care greatly about you and your pets. They alway have plenty of time and all the staff are professional and courteous. I’d never go anywhere else.

So nice to the animals there! Note at this time ( Spring 21) you have to do curbside with your pet. Your pet goes in but you stay outside.

Dr Luke and the team at Hayes Barton are hands down the best. Both of my dogs love them, and know them by name. They follow up and check on them often and are so empathetic and talk me through everything. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in taking care of my fur babies. Dr Luke just called me after hours to check in - and caught me in a dog stress moment and reassured me everything was ok. I am so thankful.

I have never even been inside the building but I’ve never felt so comfortable taking my dog somewhere. I got my pup Max at the beginning of the pandemic, and he’s only ever been seen by the staff at Hayes Barton. They are so loving and kind and thorough. I always know Max is going to get excellent care. They go above and beyond to communicate with parents during the pandemic since we can’t go inside. They also clearly care about the animals they treat. Whenever Max has been sick, they always call to check in and make sure he’s recovering. I’ll never take a pet anywhere else in Raleigh!

Hayes Barton Animal Hospital, I am not sure how I have waited this long to give you guys the proper acknowledge of animal and customer care. You guys have gone above and beyond to help me and new black lab puppy adapt to quite some random obstacles. The level of responsiveness and care has not gone unnoticed and I appreciate your constant patience and help. Every single time I have called (which is a lot in just the few short months I have been going here) I am greeted immediately by the gold standard of customer care. I even receive follow up texts to check in on my puppys being through her constant stage of eating random objects. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, thank you to the entire staff and amazing doctors who patiently answer each and everyone of my questions.

Love the vets here. They're doing a great job with covid as well.

Dr. Christi Luke took such great care of my GSP in my time of need when he tore open his wound and needed to be repaired. She did beautiful work and I’m just flabbergasted by her amazing abilities!! Love her!

I had a prescription for my dog from a friend veterinarian who was visiting from out of state. After trying different things, this vet prescribed medication for anxiety for my dog. I went to Haynes Barton after using all refills. Haynes Barton made me feel like I had brought a fraudulent prescription in. They did not believe it was real. They wanted to do multiple expensive blood panels. I could not afford all of this in addition to the expensive new patient exam fee. I asked about a payment plan and they refused. I took my dog and left and will never return.

The only place I put the life of my babies in their hands. Everyone there is a genuine animal lover and that is the most important thing when it comes to trusting someone with the girls.

Absolutely wonderful local animal hospital. Not only are their vets very kind, professional, and attentive, they can take care of any pet needs you may have. Highly recommend these good folks.

Excellent staff very helpful and caring. Some veterinary offices can be stressful but not Hayes Barton. When one of my cats developed diabetes they got him about as healthy as he could be and he's going strong.

Love this place! Definitely expensive but they treat pets like family. Very classy that they do not charge to euthanize sick animals and make a donation in your pet's name afterward.

I started going here because I knew someone that worked here as a vet tech years ago and sings their praises years later. I took my girl Vera here and Dr. Manchester saw her even though he's retired. She has skin issues and he encouraged me to give them a call and ask for him again if she has issues in the future because he has a lot of experience in dermatology. Dr. Cassidy is also wonderful and I've seen her several times as well. The staff here is always welcoming and I feel that I'd be hard pressed to find better care for my animals. From the front desk to the vet techs to the Veterinarians themselves. I've been going here for a couple years now, I've even boarded my animals here in the past. This practice is wonderful and I couldn't recommend them more.

So sad I moved and lost them as my vet, so easy to work with, great staff, great vets, they took care of a total 5 cats for us over the years. They extended our cats life and most importantly quality of life by quickly catching her heart murmur on a Saturday morning they rushed us right in. They helped us move too by boarding and giving our spastic kittens medication to help keep them calm on the long car ride.

We love Hayes Barton Animal Hospital. We drive from Cary to see the loving people there. Everything is clean, the staff is kind and truly empathetic. I always feel like I'm given advice with choices regarding what is best for my pet.

We’ve been so impressed with Hayes Barton, and especially with Dr. Luke. Our rescue dog, Fig is the center of our family and Dr. Luke has treated Fig like she’s a part of her family too. On a recent out of town trip Fig became unexpectedly ill and we reached out to Dr. Luke for consult after taking Fig to a nearby emergency vet. Dr. Luke called us back almost immediately and spent 20 minutes talking us through the emergency vet report. Just like when she meets with Fig in the office, she was empathetic, thorough, and made us feel like Fig was her only patient. We’re so grateful for the Hayes Barton team and their exceptional care.

I have been going to Hayes Barton for well over 10 years. I am a neurotic, "my pets are my children/family" pet owner. I would not go anywhere else. Some of the reviews have highlighted the cost of Hayes Barton - I have not value shopped my vet. I feel confident I could find lower cost services (cant you always in the age of Amazon?) but I am not willing to sacrifice the talent or service that I have at HB. Dr Cassidy has been with HB the entire length of my time and she is excellent. I have lived in several large cities and she is by far the best vet we have ever seen. She is the rare mix of compassion and care with knowledge and an honest approach that puts your pet first. The techs are compassionate and confident in their roles. The space is very clean and modern. This is a small, local business trying to compete with conglomerates. I think having low turn-over with a staff results in a really committed team of people that know your pet - it directly impacts care. HB has made the decision to invest in their staff and I think you get what you pay for in today's market - the parking lot is usually full so a lot of people agree. I would not consider going anywhere else.

The staff at Hayes Barton are truly amazing people who really care for your pets. My Cat hated getting in the car (vomiting, yowling etc.) and their staff was always super accommodating in making sure we limited her visits as much as possible. In the last few months as we have navigated her end of life care their staff has gone above in beyond in helping getting me quick answers to my questions, and treatments when needed. They truly care about your furred family members and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. We will totally be bringing our future furred members of the family here.

Hayes Barton Animal. Hospital ia the most caring place for a veterinary visit from the beginning when you are greeted by friendly and animal loving staff to thorough and thoughtful veterinarians who follow up quickly. We have had four animals as patients and have had the best experience with each of them. They take their time to listen in each appointment. Many thanks for taking such good care of all of our fur babies.

I’ve been bringing my golden retriever pup to Hayes Barton Animal Hospital since last year. The doctors and staff are excellent, and I feel that my girl gets the highest quality care at HB. We have had many visits this past year for puppy stuff, some GI and allergy issues, and more, and every experience we have had there has been great. We always receive a call or text to check in after a visit. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and love their patients! My dog absolutely LOVES her visits to the vet and all the special attention they give her. Thankful for this great provider!!

Hayes Barton Animal Hospital is an amazing place to take your animals and it’s indeed, the only place that I take my animals. All four of my fur babies love the staff (If they could talk they would tell me that). The doctors are extremely caring and personal. You’re treated like family when you take your animals in. All staff in the back seem to be very knowledgeable and take pride in their jobs. Wouldn’t go to any other animal hospital!

Staff was not properly trained to train, to say the least. They talk so much about their clients behind the scenes. Do they care? Yes, but will make assumptions and judge like no other. This is a very uncomfortable place as far as team work to work at. The professionalism there is not that great! I lost my home the very day they "laid me off " . They need a mixture of men and women. I was laid of because I was doing things to not be standing around, yet one of the snooty staff members wants to stick her nose up and talk bs! I worked hard even with my injuries. They are lucky i don't sue them too. Just a big mess if you ask me. Needs proper management that has their team leads actually train someone instead of having them do the dirty work. Not the place I thought it was at ALLLL!!!!!

I found Hayes Barton when I lived right around the corner, then moved 30 minutes away. I've tried several vets in my area, and the service and expertise at Hayes Barton make it well worth the 30 minute drive. Everyone you encounter is incredibly friendly, and they truly care about your pet. They listen to your needs and individualize care like no one else I've visited.

I have just moved here with my two greyhounds both have been battling hookworms. The staff here are absolutely amazing people they absolutely do everything they can for your pet and the owner. If I could give a 10 out of 10 I would. They are affordable and wont over charge you. My last vist was a few months ago and I came back today to drop off a sample to see how my greyhounds were doing with thier treatment. Now this part is going to tug at the heart strings so I apologize ahead of time. A family had to say goodbye to a loving 13 year old lab, she went in her sleep at the family home. the whole family was in tears, when the assistant stepped out she was crying just as hard as the family. Everyone had a tough time saying goodbye to a beloved pet. They actually care so much for an pet they barely even know this speaks absolutely volumes for this vet. I am a lifetime customer and will be telling everyone about this amazing vet. Dont go anywhere else !

Treats your animal like family

I have really had good experiences here at Hayes Barton. They take alot of time with you and really listen to your concerns. They were willing to forgo some tests and treatments for my elderly dog based on how scared and stressed she was in the office for a checkup. I really appreciate that.
