The wonderful care that our pets receive at Care First is always first class. The doctors have been amazingly intuitive and caring in their assessments of our two dogs. It almost is like watching a sixth sense guide these skilled and kind doctors!

You all always provide my dogs and family with the best and informative care. The best thing for me is that you all provide accessible communication.

Came to this branch for a CT scan need. Everyone was nice and helpful. I just don’t get why it costs such a large amount of money to get a CT scan done. I am sure it’s the same everywhere else, it just seems overpriced, surely it didn’t use that much electricity, and it definitely took just a few minutes of use.

I have been to a lot of vets. Most aren't good. This place is on point. Very grateful for them taking care of my dogs procedures that other vets couldn't do at a fair price. Dr. Consol is fantastic and Dr Joe is great also. I recommend this vet hosp highly.

Very grateful for the weekend urgent care as my dog has still unresolved orthopedic problems. Dr. McConnell an excellent vet who quickly engineered a game plan including a CT scan at the first opportunity.

The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, and the two vets that our dog has seen - Dr. Wages and Dr. Gordon - are gifted, caring diagnosticians in treating our dog’s health issues. We also appreciate the weekend hours that the practice is open. We are so happy to have found such a great veterinary “home” for our dog.

Road was closed and there were detours. I kept missing turns because I had never been there before. Even with GPS I did a terrible job. The place was great. Wonderful staff indoor or outdoor drop off.

Very grateful they saved us from having to go to emergency when one of our dogs starting bleeding from his digestive system. They offer curbside service for social distancing which I think is great. It's a large practice and that might be its strength that they have extended hours and plenty of staff available. Very grateful that the treatment they provided helped and he's completely fine now.

Whenever we have brought one of our cats to Care First we have had top-notch medical care given in a compassionate and professional way. We’ve had experiences with multiple vets at this practice and the quality of care has been consistently high. Would highly recommend them for routine care as well as more urgent needs. They’re great!

These people saved my dog! I’ve been to my vet multiple times back home about worms, and after being sent away saying give it time I was sent to NC for work and came to visit Care first vet clinic for a second opinion. They told me to come in right away, because my 12 week old puppy lost weight and was experiencing multiple worms crawling out! Care first meets the highest expectations in friendliness, reliability, and good value. I have never been to a better vet in all my years, and really can’t even imagine leaving this state due to how well my babies are cared for at Care First. They even contacted me to check up on my boy. It doesn’t get better than this place! Do yourself, your money, and most importantly your fur babies a favor and take them to Care First if all this is what you look for in a vet! And finally thank you Care First for seriously looking out for my boy. He has a whole new exciting personality (and belly!) thanks to the care you provided him with!

Our pup was very sick and our vet would not allow us to be with him in his last moments. I took my Eddie there within a day for a second opinion and decided it was his last day with our family. They were compassionate and loving for our Eddie. I would recommend them 100%

Moved to North Carolina awhile back and it's so hard finding a good vet that isn't terrified of my dog since he's VERY aggressive. Dr. Gordon and his team were able to give him his shots and check up and my dog even warmed up to one of the techs before I left, which was really surprising to me. I'm just happy they weren't scared of him even with his muzzle on. Makes me really appreciate this place. I never felt rushed, and he went into detail about why he might be aggressive and how to look into possibly resolving it. He didn't try to up sell me with nonsense like a lot of other vets like to do. Definitely happy with this vet!

I am fostering a large breed puppy and she needed a spay. I did some checking around and found out that this veterinarian clinic took the SPCA voucher I purchased for a discounted rate. I was happy to learn that they perform a laparoscopic spay which means less down time. Your pet can run and play the next day. When you arrive at the office you call from your car to announce your arrival. Someone comes to your car and gets your pet. You answer a few questions then the veterinarian speaks with you. The veterinarian, Dr Ariel, was very nice and I liked her a lot. She was very personable. The vet clinic texts you the next day to see how your pet is doing. My dog is doing great after surgery. I definitely recommend this clinic. Everyone was professional and curteous.

I’m always confident that no matter which doctor is seeing my puppy, she will be taken care of as if she was their own. I’ve had two emergencies come up in the last year and both times I’ve been able to come in within the same hour of calling. I usually have a lot of questions, but the doctors here do such a great job explaining everything that it’s very rare for me to have any questions during visits.

Brought my cat in and misdiagnosed and almost killed him we still had to pay for that then we went back and they said we wouldn’t have to pay that then they charged us way more then they said they would. Terrible they are not trustworthy.

Their care for my beagle, Loretta was exceptional. Our regular vet did not offer laparoscopic spaying so after researching I found Care First Animal Hospital at Oberlin. We drove an hour and the procedure could not have gone more seamless for us or our sweet Loretta. Dr. Wages took time to answer our questions and made sure Loretta recovered well and was pain free. We love our local vet but I wouldn’t hesitate recommending or bringing any animal to Care First Animal Hospital of Oberlin in the future!
