Great Place, took care of my Dog as an emergency the Dr is Great and my Dog is much better.

They done a great job yeah is expensive but the doctor gets the job done take all my 5 furry babies here no regrets highly recommended

Total money hog. This vet will always require you to visit them even for a chronic problem just to get a medication refilled $$$ then while you’re there they are always always trying to sell you something x rays mri blood work anything at all. 100% over it

UPDATE: After speaking to the veterinarian, I’m still not comfortable with the treatment provided. It was said that the bruising was a result from blood being drawn there. But there are multiple reasons as to why this doesn’t add up. One of them being that he has two bruises in different spots. Upon showing the bruises to the veterinarian, she was even shocked at the fact that there were two bruises and not one. While in the office for the bruises to be looked at, he was extremely uncomfortable in the environment. He didn’t want to be touched, and he struggled to even look at the veterinarian. My dog loves to be held, touched, and loved on by everyone. So to see him this uncomfortable told me everything i needed to know. I do not trust this staff. I was also asked to take my review down and i don’t appreciate that at all — ORIGINAL POST: I’ve been bringing my dog here for about a year now. This is the first incident and the last time i will be trusting them with him. He’s always nervous at the groomers and vet because he’s handled too roughly. Today he went in for a normal heart worm test. Afterwards he seemed fine throughout the day and was still his happy self. However, about 10-12 hours after the appointment i noticed bruises around his neck and along his chest. He is a 1yr old miniature dachshund, no more than 10LBS… i believe they held him down aggressively around his neck and squeezed him around his chest causing the bruising.There is no way he could’ve done this himself as we’ve been in the house sleeping/relaxing in bed since the appointment. I’m very saddened to see these bruises on him as no animal deserves such treatment especially from a veterinarian. I will be reporting this and speaking with them during their business hours.

I am so happy that I found a caring and personable veterinarian for my fur babies. It was clean and welcoming. Now I feel confident that my poodle will do well with his diabetes and continue to have a happy life with us. I slept well for the first time in weeks.

My family initially started coming for our dog, Lady, when she had cancer a few years back. My family still takes all of our pets here for everything! My dog now has lyme disease. I love how the team is helping me keep up with appointments and other yearly medical needs. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience here over the years! I know I can trust my pets with the team, especially when my dog is excited to go every time!

They did a great job for our kitties, Reina and Rou. I highly recommend them.

This pup of mine found herself at the end of her journey and the entire staff here treated her and me with kindness and compassion. They sent a sympathy card following her passing too. Amazing treatment here.

I have never had a bad experience here! My pups are so loved by them and are taken such great care at Boulevard! The prices are definitely very fair and afforable! We love everyone at the front desk, they're always so sweet & Dr Gouda is also amazing but she's so straightfoward and honest about everything, she truly wants the best for your animals! :)

With covid I hadn't gotten my kitten into my normal vet so this past Friday when we woke to his third eyelid hanging and bloody I had issue trying to find a vet to see him. They welcomed him in and I was at their mercy. They treated him and I wonderfully. He needed surgery to remove the hanging third eyelid and the cost was remarkably low. They are now my permanent vet even though they are 30 minutes from our home. Thanks for the wonderful care and the affordable price

New to the area and have been taking our dog there since moving to VA. So far everything's gone smoothly, and the veterinarian seems very attentive to our dog's care. It's a bit on the expensive side, but no vets are inexpensive nowadays. The only real complaint I have is they're still not letting the dogs parents, us humans in the building because of covid. Even though many other veterinarian hospitals have been for months now. So I've never actually seen the inside of this place or really meant the veterinarian face to face to date, would be five star review if and when this situation changes.

the staff here is so wonderful and kind. we had to put our fur baby down unexpectedly on saturday and even though we arrived right before they closed they stayed there so supportive and patiently with us. they were very calm and respectful and so professional. my husband and i appreciate them so much for all their help and kind words to help us through that difficult decision. thank you so much to the ladies and dr here. please know you are always appreciated we know your job isn’t always easy ❤️

Other than issues with one particular employee that tried to clips the claws of our dog without being asked and clearly did a terrible job, he was limping for two months afterward! They have otherwise been satisfactory and the head vet is someone who clearly cares quite a lot. I trust the head veterinarian but I do not trust her employees anymore.

Dr. Gowda is amazing. Her and her staff take care of my pets like they are their own.

This vet is close to my house, reasonably priced and very caring. My little kitty was sick and after the vet we came away with medicine for her ear infection. She is almost back to her normal self. I believe this will become my regular veterinarian for my two kitties.

They take great care of all our pets and follow-up is amazing.

The staff are very warm and friendly yet professional and made my puppy and I feel comfortable about his first experience at the vet. I would recommend them to all my pet owners.

I cannot say enough great things about boulevard veterinary hospital. I had a very sick kitty during the pandemic and I was terrified I would lose her. Dr. Gowda was professional yet kind, she walked me thru what needed to be done and cost breakdowns. The staff was super friendly and my furbaby made and full and speedy recovery.
