So frustrated . I’ve been going to this location for 17 years and never had a problem getting in . Not even when the pandemic started . I pay a lot of money for the care club and don’t get charged for the office visit because of it. But to be told it’s because of a shortage of vets do to the pandemic. And no longer take walk ins . Seriously. Why am I paying for ? You can’t schedule ahead that your pet is going to be sick 20 days from now . Going to stop the renewal of the care club . This is all so upsetting . Such a shame .

Over the weekend, I had an emergency and I called VCA to have my dog brought in and their response after putting me on hold for a long time. They stated that they didn’t have any appointments to see him so I had to take my dog to another emergency vet. My dog has been seen in their establishment since I had him. Luckily for me I won’t have to ever come or depend on them again because my dog is in doggy heaven now.

Tried to get my dog in for emergency appointment and can not get in for a week. Told me to try and call every morning for a few slots that are on hold for emergencies each day. I called at 7:00, was asked to be placed on hold, when came back to me I was told all the slots are full. This is my second pet that I have been taking to this Vet and have not had problems in the past however, I currently do not feel valued and they have a lack of concern for the well-being of my dog

Constant issues the Doctor is Amazing but some of the staff are condescending and rude. One lady literally locked the doors as she seen me approaching like she was scared of me. In addition, Care club literally put all my payments towards the wrong pup and won’t transfer it to the other dog as the should because he was the one due.

Very unhappy with this VET practice. I had a test for my pet on Monday and the doctor said they would call with the result on Monday afternoon. I have been calling all week and it is now Saturday. I left my cell phone and still have not received the test results 6 days later. The staff admits they forgot to give the doctor the cell phone number. VERY UNHAPPY and considering switching my 4 pets to a new vet!!!

So hurt that they knew my bella pass away not phone call or nothing. I called them left voicemail so I called them to day and told them and Amber said she knew that my pet passed away. I ask why they didnt call me she cloud answer my questions never will ever bring pet there again

Love this vet. They have been so helpful with my fur baby calling me back and giving professional advice! Would recommend them to anyone

I’ve been taking my pets here (3 cats and 2 dogs) for 15 years, I’ve since moved to Norfolk and still make the drive to this vet. They don’t recommend costly services that aren’t necessary, which is always appreciated.

I've been to this location several times for cats and a dog. They always are nice and accommodating.

Very pleasant practice, and very nice to my dogs and accommodating. Seems a bit pricey but overall a great experience.

Oh my... Fur care extraordinary. Very thorough exam coupled with superb time and attention. At no time did the doctor seem to be rushing checking our lab. This was our third visit and the attention was just as good as the first. Skeptics need not worry.

Prices seem on par with most other places, their covid restrictions seem safe and not like too much of an inconvenience. Everyone I spoke to was very nice though and seemed gentle when handling my kitties. Plan to make this my new vet officially. I also like how they have the senior care plan. I little pricey monthly but covers waaaaaay more then just pet visits and I'm positive it'll pay for itself. I have only seen them for kittens so it's nice that my older cat will get the same level of care. Side note, I really liked the decorations in the medical room areas.

We've been bringing our pets here for 40 years. Always good care. Walk-ins are welcome.

Great staff, hours that work, and great pet care

I have been a long time customer of VCA for my dachshunds. However, I made the mistake of bringing my dachshund in just for a nail trim. I was charged $24.50 for less than 10 minutes of service! The area pet stores such as Pet Smart and Petco charge around $12 for a nail trim and about $20 for nail grinding. I think VCA’s pricing is becoming increasingly expensive compared to others. Even as a VCA pet health plan member there are no discounts or incentives.

I love this vet. All of my animals go here they are understanding and very much animal motivated. They take all breeds and temperament and work with the animals and the owners even thru all this covid-19 pandemic. Dr Edwards is very much appreciated along with all the other technicians. Thank you.

Great staff and love the extended hours that few vets in the area have - makes pickup much easier having to extra few hours available each day

It is very trying times right now with this Covid pandemic. The staff at VCA made me feel.at ease, they were very friendly and made my pup feel so comfortable. Although I had to wait in the car, I was not worried at all, I knew he was in good hands. I will definitely be taking Cartier back for future services!! The Vet was so nice and explained everything about my pup in terms that I could understand. I am.very pleased.

Have been going here for years and have always had great experiences.

They sent me to the emergency Vet, which gave two prescription, that did not work, then he brought home a ton of fleas. His back shoulder blades are no better so back to them vet, which will cost more money and time.

Our entire experience with VCA Boulevard Animal Hospital was seamless. We came in worried but left assured that our puppy's health was going to improve. We felt confident with the doctor's decisions and she put our worry to ease. Highly recommend.

The Doctors, Technitians and Associates are caring and compassionate in every way. They insure that you understand everything and go out of their way. First Rate.
