This is probably the best veterinarian hospital I’ve ever been to. I brought my dog here after seeing several other vets with no answers. I brought my dog here ONCE and they were able to give me answers on my very first visit. Unfortunately, my fur baby didn’t make it - but Dr. Ward and the rest of the staff here were extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. They made me feel more at ease about the entire situation. I definitely recommend this place if you want the best service and price possible.

We just had our first visit with Hilton Animal Hospital and could not be more pleased! We had our appointment with Dr. Ward and the whole team was wonderful! In one visit, they did more than our previous vet ever had! They worked to find solutions for our dogs chronic allergies and ear infections rather than just push things under the rug. Dr. Ward’s attention to detail and thoroughness was so appreciated! The whole team even came together to try and find the best treatment plan for our gal! I am so happy with the results and felt they had our pup’s best interest at heart! While we were there an emergency came in - and the staff’s quick response, compassion and service was amazing to witness. Excited to go back and revisit and take out other pup there too! Thank you Dr, Ward, Dr. Fink, and team!

Last weekend my cat Ryland went to an emergency vet about a sudden mass on her jaw and not eating. After requesting appointments at quite a few vets for a consult and follow-up I was able to get a same day appointment for her at Hilton Animal Hospital while most offices were closed for the holiday, even as a new patient. Dr Ward was amazing, kind, professional, and gave us all the information and answers we needed, and possible scenarios. We had a full work up done the same week here and Dr Ward was able to work with us on medications that were easier to handle with my cat when pills didn’t work, as well as consistent communication and following up through text about how Ryland was doing afterwards. She still provided the utmost care and attention when we decided not to pursue surgery, and was considerate of our financial limitations with the plans for further care. Dr Ward was especially patient and responsive with an excellent bedside manner. I would recommend this place to anyone worried about their fur baby.

This is an excellent veterinary hospital. Staff and doctors treat you and your pets with respect and compasion. Excellent doctors that will give your pet the preventive care they need throughout thier lives. Goes the extra mile when your pet runs into a health challenge.

My six month old French bulldog was suffering from allergy issues and I needed to see a vet as soon as possible. After calling nearly 10 other hospitals in the area, I was able to get an appointment with Hilton. Making the appointment and filling out the new registration form was extremely easy and hasslefree. My appointment was at 5PM which started promptly, And I walked out at 5:50, without feeling rushed or unsatisfied. Everyone was extremely polite, courteous, and helpful from the front desk staff to the veterinarian. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service and my puppy can be anxious in new environments but the vet was very hands-on and understanding. This hospital was extremely affordable; with three prescription medications my bill was still under $200. I would definitely go back and this would be my absolute go to hospital, even if I have to travel from another city to come here!!!

I will never use this vet hospital ever again. The vet Dr. was extremely rude and unprofessional. She lied to animal control and did not want to give her antibiotics until other parties got involved. The only reason animal control got involved is because I called them and told them she needed antibiotics, she was trying to cover her own backside because she knew she had messed up. My dog is far from neglected

We are lucky enough to have a dog that needed both cruciate ligaments in his rear legs replaced. The staff and the doctor are amazing! Amazing enough for us to drive an hour to go to them. Great work and my dog LOVES them!!!

While this office understands my concerns to care for my pets, they failed to tell me until literally minutes before I was about to walk in that I wasn’t allowed to be in the visit per CDC. As a longtime dog owner, I’ve come across some vets who I’ve been unhappy with. I want to see how this office’s bedside manners, treatment, operations, etc. are especially since this will be my very first visit with them. I do not trust my animals with just anyone and this was a waste of time as I could have called in a prescription elsewhere.

Hilton Animal Hospital provides the BEST care imaginable for my animals. They are always so kind and helpful! My husband and I are so happy we found Dr. McCarron to care for our fur babies. The staff in the office is always so pleasant. I’d recommend this vet to anyone and everyone!!

Very friendly and caring staff working their butts off to tend to all the animals while covid is going on. They are super helpful and understanding for first time pet parents, and helpful for figuring out pet insurance as well!

Wonderful staff! Wait times are very minimal. The hospital is clean. Everyone is friendly and they make you and your pet feel welcomed!

I absolutely love this animal hospital, and I won't take my cats anywhere else as long as I live in Newport News! I have four cats, and all of the staff and doctors know all of their backstories and medical conditions. Everyone is kind and compassionate. Dr. Davis is absolutely wonderful and has taken wonderful care of my cats -- she is very compassionate and does everything she can to make sure they get the best care possible. Most of the vet care is very reasonably priced (testing can be pretty expensive, but that's to be expected, particularly with the level of care provided). Overall, I couldn't ask for anything better. I love coming into this vet! Everyone is great and they take great care of my pets.

I really can't say enough good things about this vet! We took our 7 year old dog here when we found out he needed cruciate surgery and we were pretty stressed about the surgery itself, the costs associated, and the recovery time required. Hilton Animal Hospital has done a wonderful job making a stressful situation as stress-free as possible. They've answered our texts on weekends, refilled his prescriptions over the weekend when we lost his pills, re-stapled his incision for free when he pulled some staples out, etc etc. I could go on about how great they are but bottom line is: if you're looking for a trustworthy and caring vet to bring your pet to, this is the place! They go above and beyond at each visit. Thank you Hilton Animal Hospital!!!

The service I received from making my appointment to check out was excellent. The tech, Anna, was so nice to my fur babies and went over everything with me and Dr. Pate was extremely thorough and answered all the questions I had. I am new to the state, it’s hard to find a vet hospital that I trust, and I feel very lucky to have found them. THANK YOU ALL! Y’all are amazing.

Friend recently had a bad experience with a new pet as a first time pet owner and this vet was so rude. We used to use this vet with family but left because of rudeness in favor of a friendlier vet so was sad to see it's still this way.

I have taken two of my dogs to see the vet here the first one was a touch and go he need surgery on his leg and they did an awsome job with him and they were great with my second dog he loves them.

Dr McCarron is so personal with her care. She treats our pets like her own and goes above and beyond to make sure they have all the care they need. We love the relationship we have with the entire staff! Our pets are part of their family.

Hilton Animal Hospital has treated all the animals with Critters 4 U Rescue for the past 6 years. This is over 200 animals they have helped. Critters 4 U Rescue saves mostly special needs and high needs animals with alot of medical issues. Hilton Animal Hospital staff is friendly, professional and compassionate. They are very accomodating and understanding. Their prices are good as well.

Best vet ever! We drive almost 30 minutes just to go to here.

We take our GSD here and absolutely love it. Dr. Davis is so sweet and very attentive. The staff is always so nice to our dog and gives him lots of pets and attention and he just eats it all up. Dr. Davis has done wonders with our dog since he’s had a lot of tummy problems lately and so far he’s been doing great. It’s a little pricy there for medication but what vet isn’t and honestly I think they are worth it. I definitely recommend them.

My Scottie, Tisdale, has Cushing's Disease. Dr. Fink has been wonderful in designing a treatment plan and monitoring his care, so that he may have his best life for as long as possible. Staff is always kind and accommodating.

We’ve taken our German Shepherd there since she was 8 weeks. They are awesome!! Very helpful with showing us the cost of services before given. Our puppy loves all the staff. Dr. Davis is #1 and without a doubt the best. We appreciate them for keeping our little girl up to date on shots & checking in every once in a blue moon! I highly recommend this place ????????

Everyone is very friendly and respectful. They treat your pet as part of their family.

This is a wonderful practice! The vets are skilled and kind, and the rest of the staff is also caring and remembers each patient well! We have had both well visits, dental and surgical procedures, and illness visits for both a cat and a dog, and always receive a lot of helpful information about diet, behavior (sometimes mine...), and things to watch for. They are thorough and patient. Recently, our dog became very sick while we were out of town, and Dr. Fink worked extra hard to not only diagnose this puzzling illness, but to also work with the pet sitter and communicate with us frequently and helpfully. The practice always follows up sick visits with phone calls. They really care!

Nothing but good things can be said about the staff and Dr's here. Thanks for the love and support always. If you're reading this and wondering if you should take your animal there stop researching and GO! Hilton Animal Hospital is the best.

I drove all the way from Richmond to have Dr. Fink perform the tightrope procedure on my large black lab. His review of the procedure and follow up instructions were very thorough, and the wonderfully friendly front desk staff was super patient with me during my (many) phone calls. This was a great alternative to the more invasive TPLO procedure pushed by many vets. I only wish we lived closer so Dr Fink could be our regular vet!

I love that they take appointments and when I have called for same day with a sick kitty they always see me ASAP. No waiting forever, clean & friendly. They also go over any charges before they do anything. No complaints here!
