Great place to board your pets, great staff.

Good food at a reasonable price. Had to wait for it a bit longer than usual. Would recommend.

Great staff that always takes the time to make my dogs feel welcome. Been going there for years and everything has been excellent.

My dog was boarding for a little over a week and once I picked him up he had knots/bumps on the top of his head and had a big open wound on his nose. I had called in to check on him several times and was told he was alright. The Vet wanted to speak to me about the knot on his head and nose wound. She said she didn’t know if he had the knots before he came, which he did not. He was given antibiotics but I didn’t know any of this until I picked him up. This was all new to me, no one called and told me anything or told me anything about this when I called to check on my dog. I will not be using this business again

We were only in town for a day and were able to drop our dog off with limited hassle and for a reasonable price. She was perfectly happy when we picked her up. We would definitely use them again if we are back in town.

They are extremely nice and always remember our dog. Which makes us feel like they really care about each individual dog. Can NOT recommend the enough. They are great! 11/10

My animals have been going to see Dr Silky for over 30 years. I love the boarding kennels, they take awesome care of my furry one.

I have boarded my 70lb lab mix here twice. the first time for 8 days, the second time for 9 days. The staff is organized and caring. My dog comes back happy. Very reasonable prices. Each dog has a small outdoor space. The staff is accommodating to special needs like keeping them in a quiet inside room for 24 hours for dogs afraid of fireworks. Only downside is they don't have doggy daycare, so not any playtime other than once a day in the yard. The environment is safe and they are well cared for.

We have a toy Australian shepherd. She is only about 10 pounds and she's a nervous little thing. I hesitate to leave her anywhere. Due to a family emergency we did a last minute board at Armistead Animal Inn. I could not have been happier! They treated her super well there! She was happy when she came back and even seems to be doing a little better socially with strangers since she's had a couple of visits. They are extremely well priced also! Highly recommend.

Really great with your animals. Our dog spent a week here when we had to go to a funeral last minute and they where great with her. She wants to go back.

both of my dogs that are medical ADA certified stayed for 5 days. We paid for both to bathe... they came out with black spots over them! They said it was from the newspaper that they lay on to dry off! They also said it would come off after bathing them twice! One of dogs I found 3 ticks on... never had ticks before! I took there own bucket of food and didn’t look like much was eaten. They look so thin! I literally cried!!!

Indifferent. I like the location, friendliness, convenience and cleanliness of the animal inn. I have a husky puppy and she can be a "problem child". Idk if she was happy here and got the attention she needed. Although, my cat loved it, aside from not having his family. I didn't get any complaints about my cat.

Loved our stay! The owners and staff are very welcoming and kind, our room was lovely, clean, very comfortable, with full amenities! A great B&B in Newport!

My doggie loves staying here! Never had a problem and since there is a veterinary clinic right next door, always felt he would get the best care!
