My 13 1/2 year old schnauzer could barely walk. Dr Hawkes found out it was his thyroid. He is on meds now and a new dog!

Very friendly and knowledgeable! They helped solve my dogs problem with itching in short order. Will definitely be going back for his yearly checkup.

You guys and gals have been the best for my dogs. I've been to several vet places but I feel my dogs have a second home! Excellent!

We have a part time home in NC and were away from our regular Vet when our Corgi became ill. I checked with several Vets in the area and was told they could see him in a "few days". I called Arendell , very scared that my dog would never be seen, and the young lady who answered was very understanding and asked if I could have him there in an hour. I was so thankful to finally get him help! The staff and Dr. were friendly and efficient. Tests were done and we were given directions and meds to help him get better. That was 2 days ago and my little guy is feeling so much better! I can't say enough about how thankful I am that they made time to see us and treat him.

I had to put my beloved pet to sleep and Dr Hawkes showed no compassion and rushed me through the process He did not allow me much time to say goodbye to my dog I will be moving all my pets to another vet. I can’t tell you how hurt I am with the way he treated me and my son I hope you choose another vet and don’t put yourselves through the hurt I went through.

Dr. Hawkes is very attentive and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis and treatments so that you can follow and best care for your pet. I highly recommend!

The entire staff was friendly, personable and knowledgeable right out of the gate. I have been to several vet offices searching for the best fit, and Arendell Animal Hospital takes the cake by a long shot.
