Animal Hospital of Onslow County Jacksonville, North Carolina

I’ve called on two separate occasions with emergencies for my dog/s needing surgery and both times the receptionist was rude and wouldn’t even let me finish explaining the situation before cutting me off saying “nope we can’t get you in no way”. I’ve come here for regular puppy visits prior to these and have had no issue so I’m not sure if it’s a new worker, new management or whatever but very very rude and disappointing. Will not be bringing ANY of my dogs here again.

They are so sweet here and doing the best they can with the pandemic. They are curb side only but if there is any issue that needs to be addressed they do come out and talk to you about your fur baby.

These guys helped fix up my Husky. He had Cancer in his face then with a little remedy using meatballs and tumeric the guy is healthy as an ox. The doc here is super cool. Highly recommend taking your fur babies here.

I've been going to this Vets office for years. They are friendly and treat the animals as if their own. The Vets are the best and give good quality care..

Client since 2017 I have taken all my fur babies here. Always helpful with any questions and respond quickly through emails. My recent trip with my Boston terrier was quick and easy with the covid situation going on.Staff is friendly !

I had to take my male cat to emergency for urinary issues. He was placed on antibiotics and received fluids and meds for pain. After couple weeks noticed similar problems. I took socks, to Animal Hospital and they were very quick getting him in. Could not get urine sample which is understandable. We were prescribed more antibiotics. I called in a day or two later and the vet was very supportive. Gave me some other ideas to help. I was amazed Dr had time to call me back and talked to me at lenghth. Great Vet and great staff

Beautiful people. They care very much about our fur babies and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Questions are always answered and you can feel the love they have for their jobs and the respect you are given also.

I took my Hector (5 month old kitten) to see Dr. Paley, and her staff, for the first time, with a tack stuck in his mouth. These ladies were amazing and had him done in no time. This office does not allow you to come into the office (at this time, Covid related, probably) but this was in no way an issue for me because I had my phone and prefer to wait in the car. This is just an FYI for whom ever reads this and may have an isuse with waiting in the car, so bring your phone, tablets, books to pass the time. Plus, if I had a question the ladies came out and Dr. Paley, also can out once to my car and several other cars. I am so relieved they were able to FIRST- see him and SECOND- help him. Keep up the great work ladies!!!

They genuinely cared my Precious during his last hours and did more him than his vet.

I am new to the Jacksonville area and my introduction to the Animal Hospital of Onslow County was a little untraditional. Being that I have 3 pets I have been to numerous veterinarians, but the Animal Hospital was by far the best experience I have ever had at one. I got a two month old puppy four days ago and he became Ill virtually overnight (he has PARVO), when calling around to different offices in the Jacksonville area many told me they had no availability or just referred me straight to an emergency clinic. (we all know how expensive those are so that was a last resort) However, when I called Animal Hospital I was immediately greeted with a patient and kind receptionist who informed me that while they were booked for the day, there was a good chance she could get me a walk in appointment in just a short couple of hours. Upon my arrival both the receptionists and the techs took excellent care in ensuring that my puppy was tested and diagnosed promptly. Dr. Corry then came out and spoke with me personally and gave me his unfiltered opinion on the best course of action for both me and my puppy, given I had just purchased him having PARVO unknowingly. His dedication to not only the animals he sees but also their owners is incredible, and had I not gone to them I am confident that I would be the parent to one less fur baby. Easy and quick to get my dog's prescription

This place and their staff are AMAZING! My family had to euthanize our 16 year old Yorkshire Terrier 10 years ago and they were so kind and understanding that it was literally the only place my parents were willing to go when it was time to euthanize the Border Collie they've had since shortly after that. I made them the appointment because my Dad just couldn't bring himself to do it himself and set them up to receive his ashes back. Not only were my parents and Gunny (the Border Collie) once again handled with such amazing care and kindness, they also went way above and beyond by cutting some of his fur and mailing it to my father inside a card signed by the staff that day. It brought everyone to tears and meant everything to my father. This is definitely the place you want taking care of your animal!

Friendly, caring and responsive staff. I've moved all the pets to them.

We have had all our dogs treated by the vets at Animal Hospital going back to Dr. Glass in the 1970's. Drs. Altman and Corry both have seen us through good times and bad. Our dogs were always treated with TLC. The doctors were very thorough in their diagnosis and took extra steps to research one of our problems. When it came time to put our pets to sleep, we were treated with compassion and care. Today we have a pocket beagle as a member of our family and our go to man is Dr. Corry. Staff members also have been cheerful and helpful each and every time we visit. As long as we are in need of a vet and his services, Animal Hospital is the place for us.

I love taking my dogs here. Especially since Covid they come out to your car and bring your dog inside so that you don’t have to worry about the stress of the waiting room. Staff communicates and makes recommendations. Usually get in quickly especially if my dog needs to be seen. Highly recommend.

I've been taking my animals to this vet for a very long time. I ended up having to take my cat in for emergency surgery. They are great friendly and treat your animals like their own. And the prices are great lowest I've seen. I won't go nowhere else.having that done the price was way fair great. Can't say enough about them.

Dr. Corry is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and caring. Takes excellent care of our 2yo yellow lab.

I have been going here since 2013 and I’ll never be convinced to go anywhere else while living in driving distance. They went above and beyond for my senior and blind snauzer, Blizzard, but they continue to go above and beyond as our fur-baby family grows. Times with Covid have made things a little different yet their quality of service stays the same — Amazing! Ferdinand, Barley, and our family are so grateful ????

I love this vet. Ive been to three other vets in local area and they are not trustworthy like this place is. Bayshore clinic didn't even weight my dog before giving her medication and a vaccine. That's not okay. I feel confident that this clinic will take care of my baby girl. Awesome place. Definitely recommend.

Dr Cory is the best

Dr. Cory and Erica Baker are the most knowledgeable and caring people they treat my for babies like their babies and They don't waste your money they find the problem and let you know ahead of time of the price and then ask you if they can do it. Erica is a very knowledgeable and trusting Vet tech I always trust her with my babies. Always made to feel like part of the family there. Highly recommended Mellisa.
