Winston is a changed puppy after his time at Dog Pros. I wish we had done this training sooner than at 10 months. He can walk obediently beside us without pulling on the leash. He goes to “place” and “waits” at doors/steps. We actually praise and love our pet easily now. He’s a joy to have in our home.Thank you, DogPros!!

The Dog Pros are a great family-run business! Sara took time and care to explain in detail all training practices and her staff made sure to go over everything with me after training each day. This businesses commitment to customer satisfaction is highly admirable and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for doggie training!

My dog went here for their 2 week program 5 days a week. I met with her trainer maybe 2-3 times for like 10 mins at most. It felt super rushed they barely went over her training with me and her last day it felt like a crash course with them going over everything quickly. Everyday when I picked her up I expected for them to go over what she did but that never happened. I never saw any results or improvement and it’s crazy to me for the amount of money it cost for me to so any improvement when I specifically told them what I wanted to work on. When I tell anyone that my dog went to training they’re in disbelief because it was obviously a waste of money and time. I am now looking for another training program for my dog but I would never recommend this place.

We had a severe problem house training our rescued dog. Previous dog trainers have failed where the Dog Pros have excelled. The Dog Pros not only fixed the house training problem, but they also taught our dogs how to walk loose leash, stop jumping on people, stop barking the neighbors and just be more relaxed in general around other humans and dogs.

Our family has had a very unique yet extremely positive experience with the staff and owners at The Dog Pros and we are very grateful for Sara and her staff. We opted for on-site boarded training at the facility for our dog which worked out great for me due to recovering from major surgery. During training we were updated on how our dog was doing and after training was completed they provided us with in-person instruction on the new commands and how to continue with the dog and keep him on track. We also opted to returned a few times with some refreshers on commands that we felt we were slipping on... and they were great and our dog was happy to return to the facility as he remembered just where everything was. Again we highly recommend The Dog Pros for training your dog. They are professional, affordable and compassionate about what they do and love and how they treat the dogs and owners. One of the biggest takeaways would be if you are going to work with The Dog Pros or any trainer that you need to make sure you stick to the training and everything the dog learned otherwise you could see them get back into old habits. It may not be easy but the dedication to the work they did is a must for the owner to carry-on Thank you again!

Top notch dog training. Ian and his crew are incredibly good at what they do. I brought them the biggest knucklehead of a golden retriever the world has ever known, and Ian fixed him. I would bring them my Teacup Sasquatch as well, but they’re simply not up for that challenge. No one is.

After our evaluation, we decided that the day training program would fit best for our family and Doodle, Sophie. We have been more than happy with the results. Our dog loves the training and all of the staff there. They really understood what training and style was the best fit for our Sophie. Now we can enjoy her without all of those bad behaviors! Life is so much easier!

Saw improvement on the first day with our mutt, Ranger. The key was that we, the owners, needed the training more than the pup! We have learned from The Dog Pros the most excellent way to keep our dog safe and well behaved. I would recommend their training to anyone - and have already recommended them!

We have a 1 year old black lab, Junior, that we had been having some issues with other pups and leash walking (to name a few issues). Junior has attended 3 weeks of training, 3 times a week thus far at The Dog Pros and we cannot believe what a different pup he is. He is learning so quickly new commands and is behaving so well. We highly recommend Sylvia and The Dog Pros to anyone in the area looking for dog training. You wont be disappointed. The staff is kind, professional and knowledgeable. I am very impressed with the knowledge that the trainers exude in regards to dog behavior and training techniques. My old dog (Pit Bull) was very animal aggressive and hard headed. After working with Ian and Shon, I was able to better recognize and control her behaviors and correct them before she could react. I am now bringing my new puppy (Cattle mutt) to the facility weekly for day training. After a few sessions, I have been able to correct and curb her many negative behaviors such as barking, play biting and jumping using positive reinforcement. She is listening to basic obedience commands and reacts very well to the "leave it" command using the methods they have taught me. I would highly recommend these experts for dog training in the area no matter the breed. It's great that she also gets to socialize with other people and dogs while I'm at work. Sara will even send me videos of my puppy playing with others. My dog is always happy to go to the facility, and it's great that she gets to burn off her energy instead of being in a crate for hours on end while I work.

Have recommended the dog pros too 3 friends, wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. They know her personality and take great care of her.

I’ve worked for the Dog Pros over a year. I’ve never had more fun at work or more fantastic coworkers and employers than here with the Dog Pros.

The two most important things to me when dealing with any business that is providing a service are their ability to deliver what they say they will and their professionalism in that delivery. The Dog Pros exceeded my expectations on both fronts. Our 2 year old Boxer spent a few days at their facility and came back ready and able to understand and respond to the commands we needed to make our family life more enjoyable. We have kept up with his training at home, as advised, and are extremely happy with the results. My wife is thinking about getting another puppy and I know where to go when the new addition to our family is ready to be trained. See you soon Dog Pros!

Knowledgeable and attentive staff who can seemingly work with any pup!

This facility really deserve 0 stars because they fail to disclose that their training methods include both shock collars, and withholding food "to keep em hungry for treats". Our dog lost 7 lbs of muscle mass while he was "being trained". We refused to bring the collar home and therefore have basically wasted our money on the training. If you believe in positive pet training, stay far away from The Dog Pros.

Dog Pros are the best! I took in my rescue, Mattie, to learn how to "leave it" (especially with our cats), and to be able to be off leash around the house. After a few short lessons with Shon, she was doing amazing! The whole staff in very professional, caring and knowledgeable - I highly recommend them for all of your training needs.

We have been taking our dog Bax to The Dog Pros for about a month and a half now. They have been amazing!!! We have a husky and they are notorious for pulling and our dog would pull us through the yard on his leash. Now he listens to every command we give him and doesn't pull us on the leash. It is amazing. I highly recommend The Dog Pros. Everyone is extremely kind here and they don't end your dogs training until they know that your dog is ready which is amazing. 100% recommend

I decided to pick Dog Pros because I heard great reviews about them but my experience however was the exact opposite. We decided to do the in home training. I was told to buy the stimulation collar which I did, to start the lessons. The first lesson was barely anything, I paid $120 for an hour with very little training. The second lesson we finally saw some action. But after that when my next lesson was coming close, I would get excuse after excuse for why the trainer could not come to the lesson. Weeks passed, and the training that we had been working on completely faded. I asked the trainer to waive our next lesson fee because so much time had past with no training and he never answered and I never heard from him again. It was a total waste of money, and extremely upsetting with the total lack of customer service they gave us. I would highly recommend to go elsewhere for your trainer.

We have just completed 3 weeks of 3 sessions each week at Dog Pros with my sons 1-year old mixed breed (pit bull). When we brought her in she did not have any dog manners and didn’t play well with my companion dog. I am so pleased with how Nora has transformed. We still have 2-in house visits and 6 group classes to go but the dog I used to dread coming to my house has become an absolute pleasure. The folks at Dog Pros are dedicated, knowledgeable professionals and have the expertise to really evaluate dogs. They saw something that I did not and were able to transform her behavior almost effortlessly. We opted for dog training collar what a difference it has made. A dog with boundless energy like Nora really needs the focus of training and is so much happier. I can say enough good about Dog Pros. I highly recommend them.

I have been training with Ian and my dog Chase for a few months and found out that he is magic. Chase has had no other training from anyone else and is now 2.5 years old. We have been unhappy with taking him on walks , he would drag us anywhere he wanted to go. Ian took Chase outside and walked him for about 10 minutes and then had me do the same. He now heals and walks beside me with no problems at all.... its magic. I cant even imagine going anywhere else if your dog needs help. He is now training scent detection with Chase and I see improvements in my dog with every lesson, we look forward to every class to see what he will learn today. Chris
