The Dapper Dog Salon Mooresville, North Carolina

We recently moved to the Mooresville area, and based on several referrals chose The Dapper Dog Salon for our two mini goldendoodles to be groomed. We have taken our two pups twice, and have had great experiences both times! They looked adorable (and like the pictures I sent to reference from our previous groomer) and smelled delicious! I was also very impressed by how clean the salon was and how open the space is. I would highly recommend The Dapper Dog Salon!

We will not be returning to this location. This is cash our toy poodle. They cut his ear bad and as you can see he’s still bleeding. They said both dogs were matted and shaved them completely and then tried to charge us $200. We’ve never had our dogs shaved completely to the skin in 8 yrs. This happened twice now and we tried to excuse the first time and give them the benefit of the doubt but sadly will not return.

The worst grooming experience we ever had. The first time the busted a blood vessel in my dogs eye which I took him to the vet for. But I gave them a second chance thinking maybe he did something on his own. This time they completely shaved them and cut my dog all over. Not only do they look terrible, but one of my dogs ears has an open wound that won’t stop bleeding. They cut a huge spot on his leg and neck. And then proceeded to try to charge me over $200. I understand they were matted, but I’ve taken them matted to other people before and never had this result.

They had my dog for 5 hours and did a rush hack job after they had closed. Her appointment was at 11AM and to offer to bring her back next day after having her all day.

Peter and lilly loved their spa day ! The girls were so nice and made you feel like you’ve known them forever , our groomer read my mind and cut the babies perfectly to exactly how I wanted them done ! So happy that I found a place where the fur babies feel safe! Lilly already misses the girls and stealing the giant stuffed flamingo. LOL, thanks girls !!!

Love the way they groom my Boston. Great set up. Dogs get play time and grooming all at the same time.

Quick and easy, kind staff.

I took my dog today the grooming was very sloppy, I had to come home and finish trimming her face myself. She looks not very different than when I dropped her off, and owner was kind of nasty. Not going back.

Reese is our first doodle and we were not aware of the grooming that is absolutely necessary. He is a very curly doodle and we learned the hard way about matting. Dapper Dog and Dede helped us create a schedule to keep Reese soft and happy. We tried three groomers until we found Dapper Dog. We "tweeked" his look a few times and now we love it! We are so happy to have a local and professional groomer who listens and is sweet to our fur baby.

I think Dapper Dog Salon is amazing. The owner is very nice. I was so pleased with their service. The salon has a nice roomy feel to it. It’s clean, well set up and I’m happy to take Coco and Chloe there. They seem to love being there too. They did a wonderful job grooming the girls. I was very pleased with their service. I highly recommend Dapper Dog.

They always do a wonderful job and so easy to schedule online appointments. They listen to you and your preferences. Always on-time and flexible. Our doggy loves to go!

The groomers at The Dapper Dog Salon at Langtree are amazing! I have a pooch that seems to be a bit nippy with other groomers. He was very comfortable and the groomers did an amazing job. They are very passionate and professional! We will return for sure.

I was very pleased with the way the staff handled the dogs, and the end results were excellent. Our dogs are large and can be a challange.

Very impressed with the attention to detail to my 2 pups. I have a 9yr old white Westie that had his best grooming ever. Husband didn’t recognize him because he was actually white ????. Relaxed atmosphere and even got a toy. Always a plus!

Couldn’t ask for better! LG certainly loved her trip to The Dapper Dog Salon & if she had thumbs, she would leave a 5 star review, too!

Great 1st time being groomed (3month) and he has never looked more handsome!!

We had such a terrible time when my normal place got a new groomer. My dog was a bit traumatized afterwards so we came to dapper dog and Christy was amazing with Marmaduke! He now has short nails and we will definitely be back

My doodles are so happy after leaving the salon and they look great! I love that there are no kennels so they are able to play with others between steps in service. Somehow I didn't realize they offered drop off and pickup service. On their last visit, the owner offered to drop them off on her way home. How cute it was to see them arriving in the back seat, my littlest one looking like she was being dropped off from school. All of us were so happy!

I love the dapper Dog Salon. I came in a couple days ago with two very furry dogs and requested that they be trimmed. They came out just like I wanted them too and they are looking good. The service is good and the workers were friendly.

I just moved to the area and needed a new groomer. Dapper is the FASTEST most efficient groomer Iv ever been to! They are great at keeping dogs calm and making sure you get the exact cut you want!

What a great dog salon. Five stars. The owner was so gracious that she picked up our dog during an emergency and took her to the salon. We are so thankful to have the Dapper Dog in our community.

I had such a great experience taking my dogs to the Dapper Dog Salon. We had been taking them to a chain store salon and wasn't pleased with the results. The Dapper Dog Salon did a great job getting them in fast and communicating appointment times with me. Once I got there, the owner showed me the place and told me more about the Salon. I really appreciate the fact that the dogs aren't stuck in kennels the whole time which really makes them more comfortable and not as nervous. Also, I received pictures of the during their appointment which was really nice and thoughtful. They really did such a great job grooming them (a standard poodle and golden doodle). I will definitely be taking them back!

If i could give no stars and still write a review I would. From the lack of customer service with a smile, to just all out bad service. You come in they ask you what type of hair cut/style you would like and then throws that out the window and decides to Free style on your poor dog! Who shaves a dog completely bald during the winter time ? I am completely flabbergast by that decision. I will NEVER come to this place ever again. And for my true pet lovers I suggest you do the same.

I highly recommend The Dapper Dog Salon.. I am very happy with the service and the customer service. Most importantly, my Morkie Toby LOVES THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF!!!

First time going there, 5 star all the way! I love the set up and I tend to forget my appointments and their auto reminders are huge for me. My fur baby looks and smells terrific, definitely recommend and continue to support the small growing businesses. High 5 to Dapper Dog Salon and their entire team.
