My puppy was having some issues from the time I brought him home.Every time I called, they made sure I got in to see a vet.It took a little time to figure out what Jet needed to feel better.I am grateful to all the staff.

A super place to take your fur babies! Streamlined operation and very little wait time. It's worth the drive! Prices are more than reasonable! We have 7 more to take and to be honest, not dreading it at all! Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

Great service, always good to my dog, and they are always truthful with what need to get done. They do not do or recommend anything that is not needed for my dog.

I have had good experiences in the past with Stand For Animals but I have been trying to get an appt for the past year, but I find it very frustrating that you go online to make an appointment for a specific day and time that you’re available to take your pet. And then you get an email a few days later with a totally different day and time that you are not available to take your pet. So each time I have to cancel and wait 2 to 3 more weeks for another appointment. I think their online scheduling needs to be a little bit more accurate and when you request a certain day and time you should be able to get that time if it’s not available you should be advised when your on their site requesting so you don’t pick a day that’s unavailable. So I ended up going back to my regular vet for my pets needs.

Did not assist with my cat Mini. We had to find help at the Troutman Animal hospital which is more money for treatment. I always appreciated the past services from your office, but I did not feel the appointment we received was of a emergency time frame. Maybe in the future these problems will be addressed. Respectfully Submitted John Belmarce.

Took our 2 cats here to get their annual exam and 2 shots each. They only charged us approx $200. WOW! Everyone was so nice, place was spotless, and the Dr came out to talk to us and answer any questions. Excellent care given. Highly recommend!!!!!

I took my dog there two weeks ago to be neutered and I expected him to be mad and upset with me. He is still his normal happy baby self and I'm so pleased they took good care of Max. I love my Veterinarian too but they wanted way too much where as Stand For Animals helped me out with costs and now I have a happy neutered little boy

I'm always impressed by the consistency. Very organized and yet extremely helpful and pleasant. My dogs and my cats have been spayed/ neutered over the years here and never a bad experience. They love animals and only want the best for them. I couldn't possibly take as good of care as I do of my beloved family members without SFA!

I’ve used stand for animals many years now. This place seems to have gone severely down hill! I think these people are competent JUST enough to take your money and that’s absolutely it! I brought my dog in last Friday due to a hematoma that had formed that morning. They took my dog back for maybe 10 minutes brought him back to me and said he needed pills and drops and should be better in 6 weeks the vet also mentioned surgery and when I asked of her professional opinion what she thought would be the best course of action she said medication, I also asked if he was in any pain and she said no. Both of these statements were proven to be VERY VERY wrong! My dogs ear got 3x worse so much so that I couldn’t even put drops in his ear the hematoma got bigger and expanded more on his ear flap. He whined constantly and couldn’t walk with his head straight. I took him to village animal hospital where I was told he absolutely needed to be sedated and surgery was a must! This vet also informed me of many other patients coming to them from SFA. SFA is the trailer park of veterinary care. Vet care can be expensive so naturally when I found SFA I was thrilled we could keep our fur babies happy and healthy and not have to shell out hundreds of dollars for care. You get what you pay for has never been a more true statement then now! These people have absolutely no clue how to do anything other than give a vaccine and take your money. Avoid this place like the plague! Huge shout out to village animal hospital/dr.chance for helping my baby and walking me through everything!

I love the vets that I have worked with at Stand for Animals! The rest of the staff however, leaves a lot to be desired. SO DISORGANIZED!!! I have had multiple times where I have emails, texts and screenshots with an appointment time - I show up and they tell me I am late and my appointment was a different day or time. Once I show them the proof they are nicer but WOW. I also had one time during COVID a tech come to my car and she had the worst attitude. I guess she was having a bad day but she seemed so annoyed that my PUPPY was afraid of leaving me and going to her. I am sure he sense her bad energy as much as I did. I had an appointment for my one dog and added a nail trim and when she came out they did NOT say anything to me about her nails and I found out AFTER they did not clip them. So I had to go to a groomer. The last time I tried to update my dogs annual vaccines, they scheduled an appointment 2 month after all his vaccines expired. I told them that wouldn't work - he NEEDS to be vaccinated??? So they ended up scheduling it earlier. Then at the appointment, they skipped some of his vaccines. I didn't even bother saying anything because I am sure they would have been rude, or scheduled it months later, so I just went to a new vet. What is the point of coming her if I just have to go to a different vet and groomer anyway??? The last straw was getting my records sent to me today and they have all inaccurate information about my dogs. Wrong birth dates, wrong breeds - when I KNOW for sure I put the right information. Overall, I am very disappointed with how the staff is run at this place. It's very sad because my first few experiences were good - but it's just been getting worse and worse with each visit.
