My 10 y/o male cat was having urinary issues on a Monday morning. MAH gave me a work in appointment. Dr. Edwards could not have been more responsive, helpful, and professional. Reception staff and vet techs are knowledgeable and helpful as well. Have been my go to since 1999

Very nice people! They took me in with no problem for an emergency visit for my cat! They are always there to answer any questions or concerns as well!

We have been using this clinic for several years and have been pleased but now we can’t get anyone to answer our phone calls, wait times are strangely long, appointments are not available which is outrageous, and quality just seems like it’s went mediocre. We came back from vacation and discovered our 8 month old Pup was about to give birth because her milk came in. We Did not know she was pregnant and we couldn’t get an emergency visit in to make sure she was in proper health to deliver and X-rays to know how many to assist her with. No available emergency appointments and next available would have been two weeks out. The person we talked to said that isn’t an emergency and well, to animal Lovers like us and what this place should be, yes it is an emergency. As a pup, bodies may not be mature enough to deliver through the canal, she couldn’t wait two more weeks as she was bound to deliver anytime. Luckily, We found a different vet who accommodated our situation and genuinely was concerned as we were without knowing how this clinic has already handled us. They worked her in the very next day and needless to say, we definitely don’t feel like the need to ever come back to this clinic and have made Mooresville animal hospital, a thing in the past!

Very polite staff. Very thorough in registering our from out of state records. Will know more after my furbaby's first exams. Close and convenient. Busy place, but a pleasant wait. Very thorough, a bit pricey but when you love animals as I do, no cost is too much.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for 10 years, in the last year the service has significantly declined. Wait times when dropping a pet off have been long. Getting a prescription written for flea preventative takes a week. Also just had my dog boarded, I brought a full bag of food and bowls. When I picked up my dog after one week most of his food was gone and his bowls were lost. Not to mention it took them 30 minutes to even bring him out of boarding. Not sure what’s happening at this animal hospital but it’s not the service I’m use to from them. Aside from the animal hospital, Sheena still does amazing job grooming my dog, big shout out to her and her consistency!

Took dog for ear ointment application and teeth cleaning and bath. The tech was afraid of my dog to get the ear swab. Vet came in wearing a Univ of Georgia shirt on, He looked like some random off the street. Didn't look at my dog at all, or touch him. Asked simple questions about past ear ointment applications and I said to look in my dog's records for exact dates... the exact same was told to the vet tech. Vet said he'll make appt for teeth cleaning AND ear cleaning and sent me on my way. Waited in checkout area. Only one person manning front desk. Four people on phone hold and trying to check people in. She gave me my payment receipt and said thanks. I asked when my appt was and she didn't know what I was talking about. She said she'll figure it out and ask vet and call me... still waiting. I've been going here for years, going to different vet in future.

Been using Mooresville Animal Hospital for 30 plus years. Currently have a dog with allergies who is prone to yeast and ear infections. She currently has a yeast infection and I can’t get an appointment for almost a week and then Its on a day I work. The meds they last gave me are not working. They can work me in but that costs $95…..for a regular patient. Guess no choice but to find another vet. Super disappointed that I been loyal to MAH with every pet I’ve ever owned. Wish that loyalty worked both ways

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Great Dane earlier than expect this past weekend and the entire team here was incredible for an emergency Sunday visit. I called Mooresville animal hospital that morning and told them what was going on. They told me the best time to come, but let me know their door is always open. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait and had to rush her in. They were gentle, caring, and compassionate with both us and our Kenzie. They kept us well informed and walked us through each step of her treatment/crossing. Dr Edwards was so empathetic with us and gave us ample time to say our goodbyes, and quite literally even cried with us. You can tell this entire teams hearts are in it for all of the right reasons. Thank you so much for being so great with our family on such a hard day.

I have been to Mooresville Animal Hospital several times. I have had some descent experiences and can appreciate their hours. However, I find their quality to be extremely low. My dogs have had low quality care and have been completely misdiagnosed resulting in additional vet bills. This has happened on more than one occasion with different dogs. I would not recommend this veterinary hospital.

My dog was diagnosed with having a cyst. They operated on her but that was not the problem. There was no cyst. Instead it was cancer and they didn't even check the lump for cancer evidently because there was no reason to operate. So approximately $800 later my dog still has the lump but at least she has a competent veterinarian now.

Called the hospital this morning at 630am to let them know I was on my way in with a pet emergency and was told that there was no doctor in the office and there would not be any in the office until 8:00 a.m. How can you be an emergency vet hospital when you don't have emergency medical staff available 24 hours A-day 7 days a week? My pet ended up passing away on the way to Charlotte due to this lack of caring and compassion. This is my 2nd incident with this hospital referring me to another hospital due to various reasons so this will definitely be my last interaction with them!

We been taking our pets to Mooresville Animal Hospital since 2006. This practice was sold and a new owner took over. Since the new owner took over, it has been a revolving door of staff vets. All have been quite professional and attentive. Lately, the responsiveness has been extremely slow. Messages left for the staff have been slow to answer. Now my dog requires surgery and Mooresville Animal Hospital will refer out! They do not have the staff to perform the surgery. Even the vet who recommended the surgery, is either too busy or doesn't have the support staff to do the surgery. So now my dog has to have an operation by another vet who is we've never seen and unfamiliar with our pup's history. Mooresville claims to be a hospital, however the definition is "an institution providing medical and surgical treatment and nursing care." If they don't provide surgical treatment, they are only a clinic. VERY disappointed in MAH....VERY!

Had a kitten who was vomiting for unknown reason. We ended up waiting 2.5 hours, but there was a dying cat, and hit by car dog that came in after us... unfortunately that is the nature of triage. Staff was understanding and apologetic. Kitten was given supportive care and pricing was reasonable. My only complaint is that the AC could've been lower in building.

Very kind staff. Vet spoke with me in depth on my pet’s condition and was very patient answering questions as well as very informative. I am very pleased with their professionalism with myself and how they cared for my pet for all our visits, emergency and annual checkups! Would definitely recommend them!

By far the worst veterinary service I've ever received in my life. One of our cats had been dewormed but had been taking bloody stools with large smoothe worms. We brought him in that night to get the sample tested so we could get the right medication, they took him inside and left us waiting in the parking lot for almost 3 hours. While waiting, we saw they had turned their lights off and they did not answer our calls. When they finally came back out with him, they said he had no sign of parasites. I'm not a veterinarian, I'm no specialist... But I refuse to believe that there was NO evidence of parasites when the stool sample we brought in had a LIVING, MOVING WORM IN IT. We were later called and asked if we'd seen what looked like grains of rice in his stool, to which we said nope, it was a fully formed smoothe worm. The lady on the phone said "well those can be tapeworm eggs". So which is it, there's no sign of parasites? Or it's "probably" tapeworms? She did not listen to our answer and insisted on it being tapeworms, and the cost was outrageous. Almost 300$ to be told "we didn't see the worm", and a pill that did nothing. We ended up finding the right medication for him that worked perfectly at walmart for 15$! Fast forward to today, unfortunately our other cat happened to get sick on Labor day weekend so they were only taking emergency visits. Our cat is dehydrated, lethargic, and has been having sweet smelling bloody diarrhea liquid for 4 days and not responding to sucralfate. He's been leaking feces and being antisocial, clearly something is VERY wrong with him and we were told it's not enough of an emergency for him to be seen. A cat having a condition that 15$ walmart medication can solve is an emergency but a very ill cat who could die of dehydration isn't? Where are your priorities at? Extremely overpriced for how incompetently the services are provided. Rude and uninterested staff who do not listen to the patient. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. How are you going to run a 24 hour emergency facility if nobody answers the phone for 2+ hours and the lights aren't even on? My cats will not be returning to this horrendous facility, if you want to be taken seriously then look elsewhere. MAH staff simply don't care about your situation.

Mooresville Animal Hospital has been such a blessing to our dog! When we moved here from NY we wanted to find a vet who would be available 24 hours, and would treat our dog the way we were treated at home. They exceeded our expectations. Fabulous facility and friendly people!

These are rip off artists. They perform tests and prescribe unnecessary and un needed medication for your pets. They are owned by a Vet Pet and are not local. They are only in it for the Money!

We recently had to change our vet because our dog Stuart was just too big for our mobile vet to handle any longer. Stuart is not very nice when it comes to strangers and he saw the vet as a stranger on every visit. He is a big boy at 150 pounds and is use to being on a farm so we were concerned about over stressing him. We really had no options left and took Stuart to the Mooresville Animal Hospital in hopes of getting a nail trim and some blood work. Historically this did not go well but it was not the case this time! After a few “relaxer” pills the night before and morning of our visit the team at Mooresville Animal Hospital did a fantastic job! Everyone was so caring for not only Stuart but wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the entire process. A simple nail trim is a big deal when you have a 150 pound Great Pyrenees that wants nothing of it and everyone there did a great job! Can’t tell you how happy we are that we finally found a Vet that we are comfortable with! Thank you all and especially Jordyn for taking to time to explain everything to me and for giving Stuart some extra yummy rubs…You guys are the BEST!

I called 3 other vets today, including my own personal vet. No one would see my cat. The animal hospital took him within an hour. If I would have waited longer, he would have died. I am go greatful for this vet. I am now going to ditch my old vet and go here.

We have been using Mooresville Animal Hospital since 2000. We have always been delighted with all aspects of care for our beloved pets. I recently needed quick service for a stray we adopted. MAH opened a slot to ensure we could get quick care. Their advice was very good including aspects were we could reduce our financial investment safely. We will continue to use Mooresville Animal Hospital for our family pets.

This facility took care of my cat and he is now well again. I appreciate what they did for him, however, they could work on their customer service. My husband called to check on our cat and hit the wrong extension and was told very rudely NOT to call the emergency extension unless it was a real emergency. Also the girls in the lobby when we picked up our cat on 7/20/21 approx 5:30pm were very unfriendly and unconcerned. We will take our animals to Huntersville 24 hour vet in the future if we have an emergency even though I live in Mooresville,

Calling a emergency animal hospital you would think you would have someone who answers the phone that can communicate clearly , professionally and compassionately. All I wanted was to ask was a couple of questions before bringing my dog in and what I got was “we can’t do anything over the phone” before I could finish my sentence. That’s exactly what you want to hear in a stressful situation. This animal hospital is better off with a recording telling people to bring there pet in because they can not answer any questions. I asked for a email to send them a video and the response was “we don’t have anyway to do that”. I bet they have the technology to take payment over the phone.

My dog was misdiagnosed twice. Now she is at a different animal hospital because of a seizure. This hospital lacks the knowledge and ability to be trusted with a pets care. 600 dollar scam. I plan to sue them. I advise anyone to stay clear of such incompetency.

Ever since they went to 24 hour emergency care their staff is rude. There is a huge lack of communication between doctors when they change hands with patient care. They truly only care about money and not the pets. I have been a customer for years and I will no longer be.
