Fran is so awesome guys I promise you she is legit

I felt compelled to write a review after feeling that we were not provided with the services that we paid for. We elected for 5 in-home sessions and paid up front for them. I think that Fran is a lovely lady and a great trainer, but I am writing this to caution you to ask questions prior to paying up front for services. We received four of the five sessions that we paid for. During those four sessions our appointments were rescheduled, un-prioritized and times changed or sessions cancelled, often very last minute. I felt that I was scheduling time out of my day to make and confirm appointments, but my time was repeatedly taken advantage of. After reaching out multiple times over months to schedule our last session, we were either ignored, or told that she'd get back with us. She never did. We finally requested that we be reimbursed for the last session - to which we were ignored. We were never compensated for the session that we did not receive which is unfortunate because if we would have had a reliable, professional contact, we would have absolutely 100% purchased more and more sessions to ensure that our puppy was properly trained.

We loved working with Fran!! We adopted our husky, Nova, from a shelter when she was 1 year old, and while she was a sweet girl - she did come to us with some problems from her prior owner. She was extremely anxious, not attentive to us when we would try to work with her, and would react with "zoomies" around the house seemingly at random. Fran taught us how to react when Nova behaved in a way that was frustrating, and how to earn Nova's trust and attention. After 6 sessions working with Fran, we are so pleased with Nova's (and our own!) progress. While we've loved Nova since the day we brought her home, Fran truly made being a dog owner less stressful and more of a joy. It was convenient and helpful to be able to work with Fran in our own home, and she was very communicative and responsive as we worked through our schedules each week. We are grateful for our time spent with Fran and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Not sure if she's a good trainer or not, I wouldn't know. Contacted a couple times and never received a response. Was kinda disappointed.

Fran is a awesome with all dogs. She is patient and kind. I would recommend her for any type if dog training.

I would not recommend working with Fran at Lake Norman Natural Dog Training due to her lack of responsiveness, timeliness, and overall lack of professionalism. I paid for 6 sessions with Fran and only received 5. After multiple scheduled appointments where Fran would not show up, nor communicate her cancellation, I was frequently left waiting at home with no response. After following up with messages, I never even received information on why she did not attend our appointments. Essentially every appointment I had with Fran, she would cancel last minute or show up 30-90 minutes late. Make a better decision for yourself and your pup and train your dog elsewhere.

We found our trainer, Fran, to be very knowledgeable and professional. We liked that she did not rush through our sessions, and that if we more questions and/or concerns she took the time to answer them. I have trained my own dogs before and we have had another trainer before, but we feel not only was the training above average (way above) we found the cost/benefit to be extremely reasonable. I wish I had used her to train our other Husky, as I feel the results would have been 100% better. We are very satisfied and have recommended Fran to our friends here in the Lake area. I hired fran to work with my nightmare of a Coton Frise, and I have to say I thought it would take a miracle to change Button's behavior --but she is a miracle worker. No problems with the training, trainer or pricing AT ALL!!

We did our due diligence and interviewed several trainers in the area, and decided on Fran because we found her to be not only VERY reasonable, but also she was able to calm our puppy jitters immediately. We hired her to train our labradoodle Andy, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We are so proud of Andy and grateful for Fran. He is a calm and obedience puppy and is super at coming right to us when we call, as well as staying put. Potty training was a challenge, but we did it!! Not without several tearful after hours phone calls to Fran. She was gracious enough to listen to me and give me tips over the phone that worked! We are planning a second puppy when Andy turns 6 months old, and we will be calling on Fran's expertise again!

Fran helped us train our Dalmatian puppy ( Brutus ). She came to our home so that we could focus on behaviors in his own environment. She listens, watches and then demonstrates and advises. She would leave us with homework so that we had something specific to work on to prepare for our next session. She also really helps you to understand how your pup may be feeling durning different stages of development and why they may be behaving in a certain way. She helped us overcome many bad habits that our pup had and he has grown into a very well mannered part of our family. We would highly recommend Fran to anyone that wants to learn how to effectively train their dog in a positive way.

Our puppy went right from the breeder at 10 weeks of age to spend 2 weeks with Fran before coming home to us. It was the best decision we could have made. Fran communicated with us regularly before our pup went to her, helping us choose supplies to purchase and even giving us requested feedback on our choices of names. As Fran was visiting relatives in CT around the time our puppy would be ready to come live with us, she arranged her flight to coordinate with our schedules and flew the puppy up with her, then brought her to our house herself. Our puppy arrived knowing her name and basic commands such as "sit". She was trained to go pee-pee outside and crate trained. She slept through the night in her crate from the night one. Since then, I have recommended Fran to other friends, and they have been equally happy with her overall service and the training that she provided.
