I can’t say enough about these guys especially Dr Pinney. He is the most kind compassionate veterinarian that I have every been to. He treats my furr babies like they are his own. Our thanks for your care.

I adopted Morris from the PetSupermarket and wanted to get him seen as soon as possible (he’s a tripod) and boy did I make the right decision! Dr. Alexander went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my wonderful tabby!! Everyone was so nice and patient with him and myself with my millions of questions LOL. I HIGHLY suggest going to them with any of your pets needs!

5 Stars isn’t enough. This place is awesome very friendly staff they go above and beyond.My dog was very sick and She had never been to see them before. (Her Vet would not squeeze her in) I called every vet in the area and no one would see her. I took her to the emergency vet in Huntersville and sat there for 3 hours for them to tell me it would be 6 more hours before they could see her. I called Lake Norman the next day and explained the situation and they went above and beyond to get her in for a visit !! Dr Pinney was so wonderful and very caring with my Chole. I highly recommend them!! Thank you for caring so much and helping Chole !!!This place is a example of how all Veterinarian offices should be!! Needless to say we are sticking with them Chole and my other dogs will be going there for now on.

What stands out the most to me is how much the staff genuinely cares about every animal that comes in. My English Bulldog is my baby boy and these guys really care about him. They take the time to explain things and talk through options. I had called for an emergency and they got me right in and the vet was outstanding. He was just as concerned as I was. All of my pets will be going here, they gained a customer for life.

I LOVE THESE GUYS.! I took my rats for their first checkup and the staff and the exotic vet were so nice and welcoming. They love your animals and take good care of them while they are in their hands. One of my rats injured his eye a few days after their check up and it unfortunately had to be removed. Their prices are completely fair for surgery around our area. The vet did his removal so well and and my baby was in no major pain. He ended up grooming and scratching his eye and having to go back for a check up on it. They keep him again through the morning. The vet said his internal structure didn’t come out but he went ahead and put external ones too just in case!! When I went to pick him up he was in amazing shape all cleaned up and looked like his wound from surgery was never even scratched at. They’ve taken care of me very well. And I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else they are awesome. This will be my animals regular vet from now on.

Dr. Alexander has been amazing with my kitty. He went in to be seen for an abscess this last week and they were so patient and kind to my boy. Not only did they make me feel like he was in the best hands, I trust them with my cats needs fully. They kept him overnight and did surgery on him the next morning, and it was refreshing to see that they put my cats needs and comfort first, given he was a bit fearful and just over all being there. She kept me up to date and has checked in with me frequently during his recovery. Not only that but their prices were very reasonable considering he needed sedation to lance the infection. Fully recommend this vet and their sweet staff.

They were able to get my dog in the next day. I saw Dr Tim Ulrich. He gave my dog a through exam and explained my meds and which ones to use and when to use them. He took a lot of time with me. My dog is much better.

Highly recommend this vet. They are always extremely nice and understanding about everything. My bunny loves going to them, he gets so excited and starts jumping around when we pull in. They are extremely good with pets , very friendly and loving towards my bunny. They also care for reptiles, they took very good care of my sick turtle. Also very good prices. Highly recommend this place, I honestly don’t plan on ever going anywhere else!!

Not even a client but had a question about a test another vet was trying to run - doctor took the time to call me and have a detailed conversation. He was extraordinarily friendly & ran through every hypothetical situation to give me comfort. I appreciate knowing we share similar values regarding sharing our expertise, I felt more comfortable in our ten minute conversation than my many years previous at other vets.

First time I've used a vet that wasn't in the back of a pet store. Completely different situation at lake Norman Animal Hospital. It is not a "business". It is staffed by trained professionals who listen to what you have to say, and who take the time to explain everything you need to know about your pet. Dr. Mary was GREAT!! OMG I love this place. Dr. Pinny is one of the most awesome vets I have ever dealt with in my entire life. He is awesome. The entire staff were wonderful. I wish I lived here so that this could be my regular vet.

1st time here. What a great experience! Everyone is professional and very friendly. And they don't charge a paw and a tail for a visit!

The doctors and staff went the extra mile in treating my baby girl Vivi and her puppies. They are competent and compassion. I could not have asked for a better visit or more professional care.

I started bringing my dog there several months ago. I have been so impressed with Dr. Pinney. Every visit, he is so great with her! I recently took my cat there with an emergency---and he figured out ASAP that she dislocated her hip and popped it right back in! No surgery needed! I love that they are genuine and give their honest opinion. Pricing is reasonable as well!

Lake Norman Animal Hospital is amazing! I'm blown away by their service and care for my puppy.

I took my new kitten in for an eye and lung infection. Mary Alexander is the sweetest, knowledgeable vet I've seen in a long time. She gives her patients a text number if you have any questions! (Thats great, I'm a nervous pet parent) My kitten is afraid of people and is jumpy, but she was so gentle and thoughtful. The bill was not bad. Very pleased. Thank you!!

I sadly had to put my pet down due to a metabolic condition... the exotic vet on staff was really understanding and I was told she spent the time it took for my pet to pass with her. So despite the outcome I plan on using them in the future for all my pet health needs.

I absolutely love this practice. The staff here is long term, not a place that you don’t recognize their faces between appointments. I love that you know them by name. All of the doctors I have seen there have been compassionate and caring and knowledgeable and don’t mind me trying to do things naturally instead of medications. I recommend them all the time.

The safety protocols make appointments easy, and the staff is helpful and efficient. Once I'm in the exam room with my pet, the tech and vet show such loving care. My cat trusted them immediately. I also like that they discuss tests and options before they perform them to see what options are in your budget. In all great care at reasonable prices.
