A great vet for those scaredy cats (and dogs)!! They are a fear-free practice and it shows. Such a caring, helpful team. Whether an emergency or a regular visit, I will be sure to go here. We previously went to a cats-only vet so I was worried my cats would be freaked out by dog scent, but they do have a separate area for cats, with a cute little bench in the room for you to sit. Great team, great practice, great vets! ????

I’m an over the road truck driver n my dog is always with me, she got bit and not being from this area I used google and was going off of who had the latest hours on a Saturday afternoon. I came down here completely blind just knowing my dog needed help. The staff was amazing and did a great job. Both the vet tech and the doctor called me after they were done. Pricing was very fair now if they could have fixed how pathetic my dog looks that’s a different story

There's not room enough to say how wonderful this establishment has been to our family. Dr Laity and staff go above and beyond to care for the animals in this community. Such passion and dedication are rare, and you can always be certain that HPAH will love your fur baby as if it was their own. Top notch professionalism, expertise, and compassion. Absolutely recommend.

They take great care of out pets. From grooming to veterinary care they do such an amazing job. During this crazy time they reduce risk to pet owners and families. I am honestly so impressed with how well things have been handled. We were able to safely get care for our pets throughout this pandemic. We even had an emergency digestive issue that was handled beautifully. Thank you so much!

I just moved to NC & only met her yesterday but Dr.Keck was amazing, empathetic, compassionate & all around awesome. As I cry writing this, yesterday was one of the hardest moments of my life. Even tho I wanted to be selfish, I had to let go of my lil’kittles Sammy. I had to help her be free of pain. Dr.Keck sat on the floor w me and Sammy and reassured me that it was the right decision. She made it actually feel like I was a friend instead of alone. The vet tech DJ & the entire staff were kind, empathic & wonderful. Yesterday was the worst but them being around me was Comforting. I had to write this so soon after because I want people to know that going to Harbor Point is the best decision you could make for your pet & even yourselves regardless of the reasons why you need to go there.When/if my shattered heart heals I will def continue to go there w my future furbabies. HPAH if any of you read this….. I’m so grateful for you all. Words cannot express how thankful I am that Sammy was surrounded by love, compassion & kindness. ????????‍⬛

They're really good here BUT you have to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment or you can pay $100 and be seen same day through the "emergency visit" option even though its for a non emergency issue....what a sham.

I LOVE this vet. When I first moved to mooresville I had no idea where to take my Willow and unfortunately her first appointment was an emergency visit and HP was the only play open that could see her. I was already nervous and scared and they could tell on the phone and when i brought her inside. They immediately had someone come look at her and give me rundown of what she would need. Unfortunately my dog has been there on more emergency visits than normal appointments however, every single time ive been there i have been so impressed with them. every single person on that staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they go over every charge you have and call you to discuss before doing anything extra or further. As much as i hate taking her to the vet, i know she's always in EXCELLENT hands here.

My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I repeatedly expressed concern over the medication and was told by Dr. Laity and Dr C that the only side effects possible were good ones. Two weeks later my kitty couldn't stop vomiting and was vomiting up blood. The girl at the front desk was very rude and said to call back after five because they were busy. My kitty was throwing up blood every two minutes I couldn't wait until after five. I had to take my cat to the emergency hospital in huntersville and they said it was the hyperthyroid medication, which has lots of bad side effects I was lied to about. Dr C then put her on the ear cream version but her ears broke out in red sores. She said there was no one any where near here that could do the radiation treatment for hyperthyroidism and that I wouldn't be able to see my cat for weeks if we did that. That was a lie also. I started researching and found a vet that does the radio iodine shot 10 miles away in Huntersville and they only have to keep them for two days. The restrictions afterward were super easy. Now my baby is cured and I am so thankful to have found the place I did. My family has five cats and we will never go back to the liars at harbor point.

Nice office with exceptional veterinarian. Dr Smith was helpful in finding my Yorkie, Chloe had an abscess tooth. She had her teeth cleaned in January; however the vet tech did not say anything about keeping a check on this tooth. Dr. Smith could only give Chloe an antibiotic as I had to take her in the next day to our veterinarian to have the tooth pulled. It’s a shame he could not of pulled the tooth there. I don’t understand why we take our pets to an emergency veterinarian just to always be giving the information to see our primary veterinarian the next week.

Glad we switched here, caring knowledgeable vets, and you can get a quick appointment, especially if an emergency.

Update: Owner called me nearly immediately after leaving this review and offered to chat via phone and/or email about my service concerns. I upped my rating from 1 star to 3, but there's truth to how important first impressions are. If I had been at this practice for awhile and they had a bad day I'd have understood more. **** Original review: Waiting room was empty but it took at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged as having arrived. Front desk person seemed to be having a bad day and couldn't even muster a smile for our first visit. Vet was nice but tech couldn't even trim my dogs nails effectively. Check out billing clerk seemed rushed and made me feel like I was interrupting her, then got annoyed when my male dog barked at another male dog. Didn't go back.

Harbor Point has a top notch staff! They’re very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. My brand new pups needed shots and there wasn’t one whine or jump from them so I know their shots were administered gently. The whole place is clean and the waiting room is nicer than most doctors’ offices I’ve been in.

You brushed off the red flags in my cat's blood work that showed signs of kidney disease because he was a young cat. Because, obviously, young animals can't have kidney problems. A few months after that appointment, Noah was brought in because something was off, and he was diagnosed with end stages renal failure. You killed my cat and robbed him of having a happily ever after with us as the new family he picked to be his.

We took our fur baby here for the first time and it will not be our last! We are so excited we found Harbor Point. Absolutely AMAZING animal hospital! The staff is incredibly caring, kind, and extremely patient. They took all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. Great communication from the start of our visit all the way to the end. I was very nervous leaving my pup as we have never done this before but my goodness, the second I received a call from Dr. Gray she put all my worries to rest. She is heartwarming, kind, and VERY THOROUGH! Dr. Gray picked up on the beginning stages of arthritis in my pup. This is something I have suspected and she knew right away. To say I was impressed, is an understatement! If you are a paw-rent considering Harbor Point for your future furbabies needs, I highly recommend them! Thank you Harbor Point, the staff, and Dr. Gray for your love and care.

You took away any chance my boy Noah had to live a longer life. Look at these pictures! This is what he looked like on Oct. 6. Handsome, happy and loving. Look at the other picture. This is what he looked like on Nov. 30, just as we were having to say goodbye. Seething is an understatement. We trusted a doctor who worked under your roof and in the end, our trust in your facility killed Noah. I want any unsuspecting potential customer to understand the risks of your facility.
