Union Cross Animal Hospital Kernersville, North Carolina

In the past, I’ve been reasonably happy with Union Cross but, since the Covid thing, they really need to work on their customer service thing. I inadvertently ran out of medicine for my dog over the Labor Day weekend and had to wait until Tuesday morning to call; got the voice mail thing requesting information (name, pet name, phone number, Medicine, etc.) and a promise to call back. No call back. I gave them until Thursday when I called to remind them....no response. Another call on Friday, expressing my dissatisfaction and a plea to let me know what was going on. Friday evening, at 5:56 PM, I get a voice mail that it is available for pickup. The next morning is Saturday and they are closed until Monday. I understand that things are tough but, really? Not even a call back, nor an apology and poor Griffin has gone over a week without his daily thyroid pill. Addendum to my review, the day after I posted this, I received a phone call and an apology from Union Cross. I’m now back to ok; it shouldn’t have happened but, I also understand, things happen. I’m sure that this will be fixed. Thank you Dr. Murphy.

Dr. Bailey Murphy and the staff are always friendly, and professional and work tirelessly to ensure my kitties Penelope and Little Duke receive the best care!

As always...absolutely everything is professionally be executed, everyone is cordial and most importantly they treat my pooch as if he were theirs. Toby love these guys.

I have nothing but great things to say about this office! Dr Murphy is truly doing what she was called to do and she loves every animal that she sees! All of the techs are very sweet and caring as well! Highly recommend!

Took our pups up there for shots and got quote on getting our girl fixed, yes it's in writing, called about 3 weeks later to set up an appointment, and they went from 374 to over 650.... sorry thats a huge increase in 3 weeks ....

We have used this place ever since our dog was a puppy and now he is 16 and we have to make a decision to put him down when we called and explained that there is four us who love him and take care of him and they said only two could go in with him to say goodbye to him that upset us so we had to find another place and which we did and they are letting all four us in so we can say goodbye.

Love this place. It is affordable and the vets are extremely kind! They are busy, but take the time to thoroughly explain what they are going to do/any treatments for your dog! 10/10 would recommend. I came here after a terrible experience at another vet and was so pleased with the staff here.

I have had my vet for a very long time & I love the doctor's & staff at Union Cross. I had to put my Shep down last week & they were so kind in making sure my baby had the care he deserved. I love this office & wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr Murphey & Dr Hart are very caring. Thank for always being there for my family.

I am very disappointed in Union Cross Animal Hospital. I have been a customer for many years. This morning I called because my sweet dog seems to have some sort of infection that looks to be on several parts of her body and her ear is caked up pretty bad. I am not sure what is wrong with her. I called to see if they could take a look at her BUT they literally said it would be later in the week without second thought. I honestly feel completely offended. In the past, they have always been able to make a few mins to check out my pets if it seemed to be an issue rather than a regular appointment. I really hate to start a search for a new vet when I have not had this issue with them before and have history. I just called a nearby vet and I let them know what is going on and they said I could bring her in right now.

I went with my brother because his dog was sick with a cancerous tumor on his head. The staff was extremely polite, calm and made everything a smooth transition with what had to be done. They aren't my personal vet, but they have my respect for how they handle people and animals.

We have taken 2 dogs and a cat to Union Cross Animal Hospital and Dr.'s Tart, Murphy & all the staff have been the most caring & compassionate to our and our furbabies needs. They're also very knowledgeable in there field. I have had the pleasure of referring there services to many others and even though they compassionately helped us transition our 17yr old baby recently, I will continue to refer them, gladly!

Easily the best end of life pet care imaginable, the nicest staff, and the most comfortable of settings. Today was easily one of the hardest days of my life, and yet thanks to the compassion and professionalism shown by the staff...I know my furry friend went peacefully and in good hands. Go here. These people will love your pets as much as you do.

Not a good vet if you have a big dog.

This use to be the best vet to take your animals too. Dr. Murphy is the best hands down. However, they are absolutely RIDICULOUS to get ahold of. It takes days to weeks to even hear from them. If you even hear from them at all. If you need your records transferred or an appointment set up they don’t call you back. There prices are slightly higher which would have been worth it if you could actually get a hold of them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Been going here for 40 yrs.professional and friendly would not take my babies any where else.????????

The staff is super friendly & they really care for my animals. The only complaint I have is response. I've been calling since last Wednesday to get my pets shot records faxed to a kennel before we go on vacation and still haven't spoken to anyone yet. I try calling multiple times a day and they never answer. They also said they would call with my dogs blood work results and never did, I had to call them to get the results. I don't know if they're just that busy or what but it is frustrating.

I called for an appointment and got one the same day.The staff is friendly,caring and attentive.They call after a few days to check on your pet to see how they are doing.I highly recommend them.
