Carrie Edgerton and the team at Griffin Exotics were amazing. My family being newer to the area, this vet was highly recommended to me by my fur babies' vet. They are very thorough. From the start, they learned as much as they could about my bearded dragons. Even though they're no contact right now, I knew my reptiles were in the best of care. They called and talked to me about all my concerns and sent me emails and texts with valuable information. At the end of the appointment, she called and discussed further all that she had found and the next steps for future care. I am thrilled to have found a vet that loves my reptiles as much as I do!????

Was able to get a diagnosis about my daughter's dwarf hamster in less than 15 minutes. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process.

I had only been in the area a short time when my 11yr old rabbit fell ill. I am so grateful that I found Griffin Avian & Exotic Vet. Not every vet clinic is well educated and practiced with small mammals and exotics, which is crucially important for those of us who keep them in our homes and hearts. The staff is incredibly compassionate and helpful here. They were easy to contact and very efficient and well communicated in every aspect of my experience with them. Dr. Ritzman cared for my rabbit and I couldn't be more satisfied with her work or thankful to her. She was incredibly well spoken, knowledgeable, and helpful with my Bunny and his treatment plan. I was very nervous that I couldn't accompany my rabbit inside as I was very protective of him, but my fears washed away as soon as I spoke to Dr. Ritzman from my car. She makes sure to update you on how they did and how they're doing while inside, she asks great questions and gives great advice, she answered my MANY questions and communicated with me about every concern and aspect of his care. In the end my rabbit couldn't escape his age and the ailments that were afflicting him. It broke my heart but I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Griffin and to have had them handle the end of my Bunny's life, knowing that he was in the hands of staff that I trusted. They handled his passing with great delicacy, care, and compassion. If you have a rabbit in your family and are looking for a trustworthy, quality veterinarian, look no further. Excellent care for my parrots by compassionate providers in a warm, caring environment. I feel comfortable dropping them off for their wellness exams and nail trims, and appreciate how my Amazon and B&G Macaw are gently handled with a towel and groomed with a Dremel rather than clipper. Dr. Griffin takes the time to call to go over the birds' medical/health status and answers all of your questions. I like how they trim the nails just right, not too short making causing them to bleed. If you have parrots, take them here!

They’re amazing with my bunnies!!

I take all of my bearded dragons here and they keep them in good health. Had a vet stay on the phone 30 min to discuss some extra care and knowledge. I won’t recommend anyone else but griffin for the Carolinas.

Pet smart had sold me a bearded dragon that was too small and Griffin Exotics helped me get him on the journey to growing and getting healthy.The prices at this Vet are really well too. I had told them my budget and they worked with me on that. I recommend this place. A 10/10.

I had a great experience with them! During the end of the year with holiday season, I called over 25 places to help my hamster since he has tapeworms and no one could help me. Thankfully I called them and they got me in the day I called. Very excellent experience, while the doctor called me and explained everything since (COVID regulations) everything was well explained and they were beyond nice. They found out what was the issue and instructed how to further give medication to my hamster (Mr.Nibbles) definitely his new doctor if anything is wrong… I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who has little fuzzy friends or scaly friends. I love this Vet the staff and care is amazing i recently took my juvenile ball python(Xena) to them and sadly it had an uncurable virus that it contracted from birth and had to put her down and 2 weeks later i get a card from the staff saying how sorry they are and all individually signed it and wrote nice things truly amazing the care they show not only to the animals but to the people they work with i have such respect for the men and women at Griffin exotic and will continue to visit them for any and all Vet needs the care and consideration they showed me in a trying time was amazing and i am very happy that i found them

I love this office very caring and knowledgeable! Dr Edgerton is the sweetest most caring veterinarian I have ever been to she took so much time explaining everything I need to know to properly care for my baby chameleons and bearded dragon. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone. Thank you guys so much for all you do!

The best veterinarian I’ve ever been to! I brought my two sugar gliders for exams and neutering for my male - each and every one of the staff were so sweet and knowledgeable! The doctor knew I was uneasy about my baby boy’s surgery so she personally stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process! We received updates from the car and from the very first interaction with staff, I knew I had picked the right place to take my babies. Baby boy healed so quickly it was like nothing had even happened. Highly recommend!

Best place ever. My daughters Parakeet broke its leg, I called they worked her into the schedule and now her bird is home resting great customer service I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for putting a smile back on my daughters face.

Can I give 10 stars? Dr. Griffin spent 35 minutes on the phone with us at our new bird's first appointment. He explained things and made suggestions and showed real interest in our bird and in us! Outstanding service!!!

Absolutely great place to get your exotic animal checked, I've been by a couple times now to get a check up and help my green cheek conure. They go above and beyond with their service and hospitality.

This is the first place we've taken our bunny to that really knew as much about rabbits as you'd expect most vets to know about a cat or dog. We'd never had to give our rabbit medicine before so they sent us a video of them giving it to her to show us how to do it properly. They sent us home with an information packet on bunnies and little bags of pellets and treats for her to try. We even received a call the next day asking how she is doing. I love our new vet!

They took really great care of my guinea pig and the Dr. Griffin really took his time to explain what he found on exam and the different options we could do.

My husband and I found an injured Cardinal this morning. Got lucky enough to find these beautiful souls. Now he's in there care and hopefully going to live a great life when he gets better! Thanks again !
