We’ve been taking our Frenchie here for about a year and there have been nothing but problems. Over priced and rude. The receptionist has attitude with me every single time I call. I won’t be back.

We found a 4.5 week old kitten and brought him here a couple days later. He recieved a healthy checkup aside from internal parasites and was given a deworming in the office. They sent us home with his second deworming and daily probiotics. He did amazing for 3 weeks--super energetic, voracious eater, his stools were solid. We gave him the second dewormer and the next morning he didn't want to eat all his breakfast and didn't seem as playful. He started to have diarrhea and just wanted to sleep. I found him in his playpen, lying in a pile of diarrhea and worms and unable to move. The emergency vet wasn't able to do anything. I honestly believe this place must have given me a wrong dosage or wrong medicine altogether. He was the most innocent, sweet baby these past 3 weeks and now he is gone.

I've been using this veterinarian for almost 20 years. They've always treated me and my animals very well. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

This is one of the best vets I have been to. Over the summer I drove an hour and a half to get my puppy into them. I am fully convinced they saved his life. All of the staff were caring and compassionate, they made me feel comfortable leaving him in their care and seemed to love him as their own. They made sure to update me multiple times daily as he had to stay for hours each day to receive fluids. Dr. Eaton is wonderful in every aspect. If I lived closer I would love to have them as a primary vet. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Wonderful experience with Onslow Animal Hospital.. The Doctor's as well as the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Overall a wonderful experience. We had the pleasure of Dr. Passmore providing care for our dog. Dr. Passmore answered all of questions in detail while pointing us in the right direction in returning our Josie back to health.

What a wonderful experience! They took care of me and my new puppy quickly and were very kind. I live across the US and needed to make sure he was completely healthy before returning home with him. A+ service! Thank you

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Didn't realize my kitty babies had fleas and thought one had skin problems. They fixed us right up and my babies skin and fur have greatly improved. The doctor is very kind and truly cares about her patients.

I brought in a cat with an infection in his neuter incision and the doc did everything he could to save him. I got updates 3 times a day about my cats care. Unfortunately my cat had a undiagnosed autoimmune disorder and he couldn't fight the infection anymore. The docs and nurses were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend bringing your pets here.

This place is awesome. We've been taking our pets to Dr Sheegog for about 14 years now I believe. He really cares and will stop at nothing to save your fur baby. At one point our dog was near death and Dr Sheegog brought in his own pet to do multiple blood transfusions. Bought him another 7 years of life. I can't say enough about how great Onslow Animal Hospital has been for us and our dogs.

The best animal hospital I've been to by far. The first two times we went there we rescued two different dogs and we didn't have a lot of money to get everything that the dogs needed and the doctors there took whatever money we had and performed all of the necessary tests gave all the necessary medication. Is doctors truly care about animals more than money and that is hard to find in today's world. I would highly recommend this that to anyone and everyone

They were very nice and attentive. My babies hadn't been to a vet in a long time because I didn't like the way the previous vet treated my babies. I took a chance and chose onslow animal hospital and I'm glad I did. They were nice to me, and Super nice to one of my babies. Now I can bring the others without fear. They know how to treat nervous dogs and they didn't speak rudely to me nor act like I know nothing about my own dog! Sorry rambling.

Dr. Fuchs is amazing with my pets. Prices for vet care can be steep but if it helps, they accept care credit. Scheduling is easy and the wait time isn't terribly long with appointments. I feel like they truly care about our pets and value our time.

If you want to wait 42 minutes for a scheduled appointment then absolutely chose this vet. I called after 30 minutes and they said I would be next or next after that and then said they would be right out. 12 minutes later they came to get my dog. This was her first and last appointment with them. Let’s add in the fact when I called to schedule her appointment they failed to mention they are still doing curbside. So 42 minutes wait outside and she’s a black and tan German Shepherd. If you’re running behind on patients or short staffed then communicate and set the expectation early on. If it’s going to be a long wait then communicate it so I can take my dog to pet-smart or something for 40 minutes instead of keeping her cooped up in my car or walking her around in 88 degree weather.

Very unsatisfied, I took my 4 month old cane corso here for his rabies microchip and 1st round of shot. I told them he’s very attached to me and doesn’t cooperate with strangers if I’m not there, still they insisted on trying to get him taken care of by themselves. 5 minutes later I get a call asking if I would come in because he wouldn’t do anything but lay down in the office. They scared him to the point he went number 2 in one of the rooms that he was not in when I originally seen him in when I came in. All’s well and done after I come in and he’s fine. Second go around for parvo 1month later my wife takes him while I’m at work and he acts way better. The lady knocks on the door before coming in and he growled and for “precaution” forced her to put a muzzle on him. And then continued to ask if she had gotten him into behavior classes or training, and hint that if this behavior kept up something bad could/would happen to him... first of all my dog has NEVER done anything to hurt anyone. He is potty trained knows basic commands (sit, down, come, no) and even lets the neighbors little boy and girl who he’s as big as come and pet him without jumping growling or barking... so one don’t ever threaten or even mention something bad happening to an animal you’re payed to care for and who I care for deeply for. Two don’t ever insult my dogs obedience because he who every dogs instinct when heard a noise at the door acted upon it and you were afraid and not educated enough in your field to realize the difference between instinct and curiousity rather than aggression

Visiting the vet is a little different nowadays but the staff and service is always fantastic. You arrive, call the office, and they take your animal for its visit. The vet will call and ask questions and give you what they think it is and then you get your little buddy back and pay. It's a surprisingly fast process and the vets are very helpful.

Brought Grace in for checkup on some growths she had. Dr Sheegog not quite sure exactly what the problem was so he rearranged his schedule to accommodate mine for biopsy surgery. I am so greatful. Turns out benign growths, then removed. He followed up that evening with phone call. This is what I appreciate about great caregivers. Thank You Dr Sheegog and staff. Suzanne
