this office is located on 14th street in Greenville. I feel very confident that I am getting the best advice for the care of my little dog. I see Dr Whiting for the care of my rescue chihuahua. I feel that I am being listened too and actually heard.

Extremely disappointed. They changed the online prescription service without notifying me and my cat has a prescription she takes daily that was on auto ship. By the time I realized I hadn’t received my auto ship package and I went to check the site, I couldn’t log in. After contacting them to find out what happened, I was told a new online pharmacy was being used. They sold me 15 pills to hold me over until the new site ships my animals prescription. I paid triple the price for 15 pills directly from them (even though it was their mistake for not notifying me) and despite ordering through their new online pharmacy, my cats medication is now lost in the mail and it has been 2 days since she’s had her prescription.

How does the price of a spay change from the quote so much? We have been going here over 7 years we have 4 dogs. 2 years ago we had our dog spayed under $200. My daughter rescued a dog called made an appointment they changed us $300 for labs then wanted over $500 for the surgery this is a chi-mix small dog. Who charges that much for a spay? When I called to ask about the price the lady was very rude and said I will gladly transfer your records to another vet we are under new management. So that’s what we are going to do. You have lost our 4 dogs my daughters dog, my other daughters 3 dogs, and I used to recommend this place to everyone and now I will warn everyone against it. Dr. Mcmillian sure left it in the wrong hands. Staff can ruin a place and so can greed.

The vet is always stressful, but the people here are always so kind and quick to help answer the many questions I have, and I know they’re gonna take great care of my pet! Highly recommend :)

My pets have been patients here for over four years... Any of their staff are highly qualified and sincere. Just had my six month old puppy fixed. As always, outstanding service. I would only use these vets…. EVER.

We were super impressed with our care here - we were visiting family from out of town and our lab got hurt, and they were amazing about getting her in the next morning and getting her better (including doing a procedure in a super timely manner). Everyone was very kind and professional!

I took me almost 3 months to get an appointment for my Jack Russell who has having severe shaking issues from loud noises which has caused him to start having seizures AGAIN. They did blood work done years ago and they couldn't find any reasons why he was having seizures!!! THREE MONTHS TO GET A APPOINTMENT!! THE FEES HAVE GONE EXTREMELY HIGHER THAN BEFORE COVID-19 HIT!. MY DOG ACTS FUNNY WHEN HE GETS OUT OF THERE!! THEY DON'T ALLOW ME TO GO IN WITH HIM TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HIM, SO I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY DO! LAST TIME I TOOK HIM TO GET HIS NAILS DONE THE PRICE WENT UP ALMOST DOUBLE AND NOT ALL OF THEM WERE DONE!! I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR HIM ON WEDNESDAY THE 6TH (BUT IT TOOK ME 3 MONTHS TO GET THIS!!) I AM HOPING THAT THEY ALLOW ME IN THERE TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE IS ACTING LIKE!!! THIS IS THEIR LAST CHANCE!! THE OFFICE I NORMALLY TAKE HIM TO HAS BEEN CLOSED, AND NOW DOUBLED THE PRICES AS WELL!! MY DOG LOVES EVERYONE AND IS SCARED TO DEATH TO GO TO BOTH VET Offices! I ALSO CAN NOT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE TODAY, I HAVE BEEN CALLING SINCE 11:30 AM ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 5TH AND THE VOICE MAIL IS TELLING ME THAT THEY ARE CLOSED FOR LUNCH AND IT NOW STILL CLOSED SINCERELY, REBECCA ASHER PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME

Lucky I called ACG! Not only did they get me in immediately for my dog, Dr. Olsen said she would take care of the stray I had found and get her blood work and vaccinated so I can have piece of mind that both dogs are protected. I can't thank them enough for the care and getting us on the way to wellness. Warm, friendly and patient. Recently relocated to Greenville. I made sure my dog was all up-to-date on everything with Vet in previous location. Coming home from work, I find a stray running loose out in the country. After securing stray in my car, I run her to a vet near home. She's not chipped, no collar and I figure she's will need several vaccinations, especially being around my dog. Sure enough, my dog gets a GI issue. Looking for help to get both dogs looked at, I call several vets. All practices are two-three weeks out for appointments for new clients! Amanda with ACG searched their schedule for the next day and found me an appointment. Plus, she said they would work the stray in the best they could, but it may be at different times. I just wanted to get my guy feeling better and have some more details and get the stray protected. Thank you, Animal Care of Greenville!!!!

I adopted a heartworm positive dog from the shelter recently. Animal Care staff have been very supportive helping me help my pup through her heartworm treatment. They have provided educational, medical and emotional support. I love all the staff here. They are so helpful and kind.

I appreciate the fact that there is a COVID-19 pandemic and the staff must work extra hard to keep us safe and help our fur babies.

The lady came out to get my dog because of COVID-19 rules, and she was very nice and used her own leash. They called me when surgery was over to let me know everything was OK and to pick her up probably between 2 and 5 o’clock. Brought her out , very informative ,lots of paperwork ,medication ,very great price.

After initially starting off good then they seem to construct pricing to price out and deter people of color from patronizing. ????

Had appointment at 5 pm, checked in 10 min before 5 pm, no response, 20 min later received text checked in, called multiple times to find out if there was a problem, have to pickup my kids before 6 pm, placed on hold twice for over 5 min each time, no communication, at 530 pm told it would be 5 to 10 minutes more before tech would be out,, had to leave to pickup kids, very frustrated, will not be back!

I have been going here for a couple months and it used to be a good office. However, today I was hung up on by a receptionist after trying to make an appointment for my cat who is already an established patient at this location. I was in the middle of making an appointment for my cat and had more questions about what the visit would encompass when the receptionist just randomly said "yup, ok bye". It was highly unprofessional and during the call, she was not the most friendly. After being put on hold for 8 minutes, I expected a more thorough call that would last more than 1.5 minutes when I still had more questions about the care my cat would receive. I'm taking my pets elsewhere.

Our dog is having a potentially life threatening issue. We have been clients of this practice since the current practice took over (5-7 years) and the would NOT see her. Offered an appointment 2 weeks out & my wife called 3 times and 48 hours later after the 3rd call, they finally called. Fortunately we found another vet who would see our dog THAT day because it was an emergency. We will never return to this vet. Update 3/23/21- It's been over 6 months since I posted our review of Animal Care and they have still NOT called or posted a comment. I think that tells you all you need to know about them. They only respond to positive reviews.

We went here to establish care, I am always hesitant with Vet offices but Alex really eased my mind and was so knowledgeable and loving to my Max. I can't thank her enough for answering all my questions and being there.

My five month old puppy was a patient at Animal Care. While registered as a patient, he had serious symptoms suggesting a possible blockage. I called to get an appointment and explained what was going on and they said they didn’t have any appointment available until over two weeks from that day. I said “I don’t understand, what am I supposed to do if my dog is sick?” And they just told me to go to the emergency vet which didn’t open for another few hours. Meanwhile, I called another vet in Greenville that I had never been to. After hearing my dog’s symptoms, they took him in right away and were able to even schedule a surgery the very next day.

When I called with an emergency this morning for my dog to be seen, I was told they were booked and I could take her to Kinston! My dog is a patient there and was extremely ill this morning, throwing up, shaking, couldn’t move, etc. they completely disregarded my concerns and my dogs health! I understand you are booked, but there should be something set up to help with unforeseen circumstances! I called another vet in Greenville, which my dog has never been too, and they were booked as well but they told me to drop her off and they would fit her in and they did and thank God they did as the vet told me my dog was really sick and don’t know what would have happened to her if she had not been seen! Unacceptable and I will be moving my animals from there.

Have been taking my pets exclusively to Animal Care locations for years. ALWAYS receive wonderful care and excellent, thoughtful, professional advice and direction from both vets and techs. ALWAYS have friendly and engaging interactions with staff, techs, and vets. With all the clients they see and pets they care for, they still care for my dogs as though they are family. Have appreciated all they have done for my animals over the 15 years we’ve been clients. Last visit, we were assisted by ALEX—she was so patient curbside with all that I needed to discuss about my latest rescue. She took great care in attending to all of my boy’s needs and communicated all my questions to Dr. Wells and staff. Super friendly and positive attitude despite a parking lot full of people waiting! Dr. Wells, also, was so thorough and kind and down-to-earth—exactly the kind of doctor you’d want treating your pets. Recommend all of their offices where staff, techs and vets are superb!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Whiting and the team there. Always there when I need them and very supportive. Fair with pricing and don’t do more than your pet needs. Thank you all for being so great!

Dr. Alex was great! Our dog Toast was inside with the doctor and we got to watch and talk with the vet the whole time.

Anna the vet tech was great with our kittens and made us feel safe even though we couldn’t be in there with them. The appointment was fast. Only problem was we waited a while before our cats were taken in but they were busy.

I can not tell you how happy I am with my dogs experience with Animal Care of Greenville. I am new to the area from Colorado and have a 10.5yo Rottweiler with fear aggression and was very concerned about finding her vet care. I honestly can say that in her 10.5 years of life this has been the best vet appointment she has had. Vet Tech Alex came out to get her from the car and was very understanding that it is stressful situation for Izzy and I never felt she judged Izzy or thought she was a bad dog for her fears. Dr. Wells called me to go over the appointment and spent the time to talk through options for her anxiety and some health concerns. And again he talked very positively about Izzy and I felt a level of compassion that I haven't encountered from any other vet. I was very pleasantly surprised at the affordability of the services. I am so relieved to have finally found a such caring veterinary practice for my dogs.
