They helped me when no one else would. If they hadn’t helped, more then likely my kitten would of died. ????

I have an international trip coming up and I was told I needed to wait until the first of the year to schedule my appointment for my health certificate. I called the day they told me to call and was told there was no availability to schedule an appointment. They could not fit me in. I now know I can not count on Animed Hubert. Sad to take my business elsewhere.

For a walk in service I was seen rather quickly. The Vet and vet tech were very nice and treated my baby like the mini king he is. I'll definitely be back!

I have taken both of my dogs here. One for an emergency and one for bladder infection issues. The staff handled both situations great. Prices are definitely not outrageous. They explain everything they are doing and everything you need to do. I would definitely recommend using them for emergencies or simple care.

Dr Lewis and her staff is amazing. Our dog Roxie had been with them for 5 years. Unfortunately, after her went into surgery she stopped breathing on her own. They kept her alive for 3 hours which allowed my mother, father, and I to say goodbye. They also held her body overnight so we're could pick her up the next morning. Dr Lewis was there with us and explained what happened and did get best to console is and give her condolences. Thank you for everything you've done for my our baby Roxie.

I came here with my mom to help her get her two dogs and two cats check ups and shots. They are extremely nice and well organized. We came with 2 big dogs and 2 cats, one of whom has brain damage and can be difficult to work with. That's not just a metaphor either, the poor kitty is literally mentally disabled, and never wants to hold still or stop licking. They were able to do all of their exams, draw blood from both dogs, give everyone their shots, and take the important notes they needed to regarding the Bobble cat's condition efficiently, gently and in a way that shows their genuine love for the animals. They even happily cleaned some pee out of the Bobble cat's carrier. Nothing slowed them down from treating each of the animals, but at the same time, I felt each one got the attention they needed. This is a walk in clinic, so expect a wait when you come, and sometimes they are already so busy you'll have to come back the next day. The facility itself is what you would expect from any doctor's office. It's clean and smells like a scented disinfectant. It's got anatomy charts, prescription information and cat and dog posters on the walls of the exam room. The waiting room looked kinda of small, but we checked in and waited out in our car for about 45 minutes before they called us. Then we brought the critters inside, and a technician ushered us into one of the exam rooms. Overall it was a very good veterinary experience. Aside from the thermometer, even the dogs and cats seemed to enjoy it. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to take good care of their pets. I'm not sure how much the bill was. My mother paid it, and she didn't seem stressed or upset about it, so it had to be reasonable. She would have definitely said something if it hadn't been.

They are very friendly and take good care of your pets. Dr. Torres has seen all my pets and she just recently helped me figure out what was wrong with one of my cats very thankful to have gotten some relief for my baby.

Days after an unpleasant experience with a provider at Banfeild (resulting in a serious misdiagnosis and escalated complaint), my cat became seriously ill. He needed immediate treatment, and I was referred to Academy. From my initial phone call to arrival, the staff was incredibly helpful and positive. He was taken back immediately to assess the severity of his urinary blockage and within minutes I was given a treatment plan and full estimate for his care (which ultimately cost much less). A few days stay was required, and the staff called me several times to inform me of his progress. They even encouraged me to call and check on him if I needed to, for my own peace of mind. The ladies I spoke to were so kind, while being quick and efficient. Definitely consider them for your pets needs. They took excellent care of my boy????

Came in as a walk in and waited about 1.5 hours, they’re a very busy clinic but they kept me updated of my wait time and once I was in the vet was very professional and helpful.

We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for many, many years, and I’ve never had anything but positive things to say about it. Dr Lewis actually saved our dog Annie’s leg a couple of years ago, and today she is as good as new…. Not even a limp. The work is stressful and demanding, yet every single person we deal with at this clinic has been kind, thoughtful, caring and helpful in so many ways. Please don’t hesitate to take your beloved pet to Academy Animal Hospital! I could not recommend them more highly!! ( Thanks Dr. Lewis for all you have done for both Annie and Addie over the years! We are so very grateful to you and consider you part of our family! Hope we get to see your new twins when they arrive! Praying for excellent results in every way with your pregnancy! We love you! ♥️♥️♥️ Libbie Adams)

I'm so glad a place like this exists! You have to get there early because it's first come first serve. We checked in at 9am (opening time) and we were already pretty far back in line and the waiting room ready had about 8 dogs and owners waiting. We were called in to a room at about 11am. Even though they were busy (and always seem to be) they gave my pup the time and attention she needed, and listened to my concerns. She is feeling much better.

The Doctors and Vet Techs are top-notch and truly care for your pets and family needs. Although, I wish the clinic would make appointments and not strictly walk-ins only, they are undoubtedly worth the wait.

My family took our cat Samwise in and had a surgery done to him. After a few days, Sam was released and my family was told to watch his bladder movements as well as eating. After days have passed Sam continuously wouldn’t eat his food or drink his water. After taking Sam back to Academy and expressing our concerns of him not eating and living in his litter box, Academy sent him off with ointment for diarrhea. When Sam had gotten worse and was foaming and constantly drooling, He was taken back yet again in which my family was told he’d only be seen and get his blood tested for $140 which we didn’t have at the time. A day had passed, we had gotten the money but they wouldn’t take Sam in until the next day. Later that day, Samwise had died. Samwise was an extraordinary cat, he was my girlfriend’s service cat. He has saved her life multiple times in the very short 4 years of his life. My mother in law had expressed her concerns MULTIPLE times but was simply brushed off as if she was crazy. It is unbelievable that Academy Animal Hospital has expressed such negligence and incompetence. Samwise did not deserve to die let alone over $140. Healthcare is about treating the patient. NOT the money. Instead of actually doing the right thing, Sam was continuously sent off without being given the proper treatment. It is beyond me that our family could simply google what could possibly be wrong with our cat but Academy would just send a cat who wasn’t eating or moving away with ointment for diarrhea. That he would get sent away without any treatment and not work with our family when it came to giving them payment. That is NOT what healthcare is about. Their actions were shameful and something MUST change. Otherwise, this animal hospital is a great place to take your pet/family member if you can’t afford euthanization.

As a retired Marine, I still used the base vet clinic but they became too hard to get appointments. My 14 yr old husky had a stroke and I brought him in to Academy Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, he had to be put to sleep but the clinic won me over with their professionalism, care and compassion. I continue to come here with my other two dogs. The entire staff has always been professional. Because they are SO busy, try to exercise a little patience and they will treat you right. I almost lost my little Cairn terrier to Pyometra. They tested, diagnosed and conducted emergency surgery to save her. Now she couldn’t be happier. My Fox terrier is a rescue and when put on the examination table, he just starts shaking because he’s so scared. Dr. Torres and the vet techs provide professionalism and patience working with him. I couldn’t be happier bringing my 4 legged fur babies to this hospital. BRAVO ZULU Dr Torres and the entire Academy Animal Hospital staff!!

We took our cat Benny here to fix an emergency blockage and they did a great job. For reasons outside of their control Benny blocked again a week later and they fixed it again and performed a PU procedure on him and were very successful. The Doctors and Techs were so nice and helpful and they actually care about your pets. They went above and beyond with ours. Even when he was being difficult they worked hard to give him the best care. 10/10

They listen to concerns and are very attentive while still being efficient. I've boarded my dog there multiple times, she's had surgery here as well get normal check ups...
