Always had a good experience when we lived in the area. Moved several years ago but called today to obtain prior records. The receptionist sent them within 10 minutes and then called to make sure I could open the format of the attachments.

I cannot express enough sincere gratitude toward the excellent care and concern my dog receives at College View.. I can't imagine getting better care anywhere else...

I had my old vets office in ohio fax my dogs records to college view to refill a prescription at 11 am. I watied 30 mins then called to confirm the fax AND to fill the meds i needed. I've called 2000 times and no answer, not once. Its now 6:02 and they're closed ... cool, real cool.

They always have a very long wait time even though you have an appointment. I had a 3:4£ appointment and i wasnt seen until 4:30. Very nice staff and very good with my cat so i keep going.

I recommend going elsewhere for vet care. I was given inaccurate information by the receptionists on multiple occasions. The vets we saw were pretty awkward and didn't seem like they liked their job or animals in general. They also are more pricey than some other offices in the area.

Best place in Jacksonville, Nc, if you want a place that treats your pet as family this place is it and they always make sure that answer all your questions and more to make sure you know your in good hands! We have 2 Boston terriers and 1 English bulldog this is only place I trust because I know they are in good hands. They treated my Boston terriers for mites and also help in getting ready for our overseas package for our dogs!

Wonderful caring staff, always friendly and attentive. They take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable and explain what steps are being taken to get them well again. They are very accommodating and managed to see my pet today without an appointment because he had been sick over the weekend. Great vet.

I adopted a dog from the Onslow County Animal Shelter in December. I was told he had "kennel cough". It turns out the cough was associated with Stage 3 heartworms. Dr. Weaver is the best veterinarian I have ever dealt with. She sent in referrals for my dog to be seen by the Cardiology Department at NC State Veterinary Hospital. She helped develop a care plan with NC State to help my dog recover. She held my dog while he was coughing up blood and dead heartworms and administered medicine to help save his life. She always helped me whenever anything serious happened to my dog. Unfortunately, my sweet dog Oreo died this past Wednesday due to heartworm complications. Dr. Weaver is the only reason my dog was able to have more time on this earth and extend his life. I am so grateful to her and all the staff at College View for loving and caring for my dog as much as I did and still do.

I don't go here that often (because I go to the main hospital Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital) but it's great for easy stuff like yearly exams and vaccines. The people are wonderful, the building is clean and bright, and the pricing is awesome! If you want the best medicine for your favorite furry family members, this is the place to go.

She was wonderful with my dog and gave detailed instructions.

I absolutely love this place. Our prior vet clinic was very inconsiderate when it came to letting us know ahead of time what was going to be done during the checkup, and giving us a rough estimate of the total price. This clinic has been an absolute dream come true, they are very kind and take the time to explain to you everything that you need to know before your procedure/exam begins. They send you home with free samples, and do everything in their favor to make sure you’re not breaking your bank, while still making sure your pet is being taken care of. They also offer “pet of the week” where they offer little gift bags to those who come visit if your pet is selected. It’s the little things that really make this place so wonderful. If i could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Thank you college view staff!!

My dog Jake loves going here. He doesn't mind the shots because the vet is so nice to him. Every vet we see, they're nice and so good to him. You can tell they love their job. Jake has even gotten into some prescription medication by accident and they took great care of him and calmed me and him very easily. They call us to check on him after visits and remind us when he needs his shots again. I'm grateful we found such a loving environment for my canine!

Great and friendly clinic and staff, very timely in regards to appointments, and very thorough diagnosis and explanation thereof.

I had a sick pup with a UTI. I walked in around 9 AM, they checked us in, we waited for about 45 minutes and saw a wonderful vet tech and veterinarian. They tested her urine, got the results, gave us an antibiotic and we were out the door. Great staff, clean areas, and very knowledgeable. Also, reasonably priced for a walk in visit. Highly recommend!

This place was terrible to me and my puppy. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you love your baby. They take your baby away from you to weigh it and run tests, rather than let you see what they are doing. I've never been to a vet clinic that does this. They also did a swab test on my dog without my permission, and asked AFTER they did it if I wanted them to perform the test. I don't know what else they did to my baby but, after he went back with them for an awkwardly long amount of time, he was almost lethargic afterwards. This place is doing some sketchy stuff and they are taking the choices away from the owner.

Brought my dog in for the first time a couple weeks ago. The vet and assistants were all great, and prices weren't crazy! I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a new vet!

Love, love, love this Clinic! They're great with my pets. We had to move away, but if we ever get Lejeune orders again, we'll be back! We will miss this office.

Found these people using google maps. First time visit with 3 big dogs. I'm kinda surprised they let me bring all three in at first. The place was wonderful! Very clean, everyone so friendly, doctor very good imo. I didn't feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to do (they offered a lot but tbf I was behind in keeping them up to date) I thought the prices were perfect. It wasn't the cheapest, but it definitely wasn't the most expensive and quite frankly I don't want to go to the cheapest doctors, makes me think they don't value themselves or their medicine. On a side note, there was a woman in there who was very angry about something, she sounded kinda crazy. The staff were beyond courteous and professional, even though this woman was cursing them and screaming and saying all kinds of awful things. I have definitely found my new "other" family doctor for life.

We just had our first visit at College View today for our dog and cat to be examined and get up to date on shots. Dr. Thomas and the rest of staff were very friendly and informative. My cat, who doesn't care for anyone but myself, liked the staff just fine! The office was very clean and even smelled clean. Prices were very reasonable as well. We will continue to use this vet and I highly reccomend them!

My friend brought her baby in to this clinic with a skin infection. The doctor claimed she couldn't treat unless her baby, who is just that, being under four months old, got his rabies shot. My friend disagreed on the basis that this pup just crossed the country, just gotten his combo vaccine, and has a compromised immune system with the infection. After waiting for an hour and a half, the vet finally returned, refusing to treat unless my friend agreed to a rabies shot since "the law requires". I'm not a vet, but I know that your animal is supposed to be healthy prior to a rabies shot. What's more, the law only requires it after four months of age. My friend wasted an evening, wasted a fat bill, and wasted an argument that could have been better spent bringing her baby relief. It all seemed to be based on the fear of breed, since this boy is a German Shepherd. Judging from other reviews, this is a common issue. Do NOT waste your time here.

I can not stress enough how it would be to your advantage to go to Jacksonville Vet and College View Vet. Dr. Thomas is so warm about our animals. It's. like she can read them. I have given them a 5 star but I believe they are above 5 and I rate them 10 stars. You will feel better walking out with your animal. They are precious and thats what you feel there. My furbaby loves the vet and especially Tammy. He is a 17 yo grumpy (sometimes) old man but when he comes for his check ups he loves them! I have been going to College View since 2005 and would never trust anyone else! Very compassionate and loving!

Best vet in Jacksonville area! They have treated our baby like a princess from day 1. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Brinson are both very sweet and always remember our dog and our baby! Highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the area!!
