Great service, buy online pickup in store

Friendly and efficient, although short staffed. I purchased a 29 gallon fish tank and would have loved to have assistance to my car, but nobody was there to help.

The grooming salon is excellent. I always am impressed with the nice job they do when I drop my dog off for a bath. He's got a longer double coat but it's no problem for them. Checking in is a little hectic (normally I end up having to wait 5-10 minutes) but otherwise there is nothing negative I can say. The store in general is nice with all of the pet services located around each other (grooming, training, adoption, and vet care). Selection of dog foods and products is nice. I normally end up ordering online and picking up in store since Petco offers a discount regularly for doing it.

Unreasonable pricing. 1. Trimming is more expensive than a full haircut. 2. The pricing said by the stylist via phone is different from what was listed in their app.

The product is not very well made. The only products that came with it that I'm satisfied is the light combo.

Everyone here has been pleasant to speak with and their services are top notch for the price. Last time I went the employee went out of his way to help me save $30. You can trust them with your animal friends.

They don’t keep appointments, blamed system was wrong and kept saying it was too lat if an appointment after they had an opening on their site.

Nash is an awesome groomer. She has stuck by my crazy German Shepherd dog since he was a 6 month old puppy (& super unruly, crazy, not yet thru training). A year later, he's a little better & she hasn't kicked us out of the store yet. Love you Nash! You're the best ????????

Don’t waste your time and bring your pets here! I’d give this dumpster fire of a grooming salon zero stars if I could. I drove two hours (everywhere else around me is booked until next year, and I just moved to NC) to this grooming salon with my dog for an appointment we made two weeks in advance, only to be turned away AFTER standing in line for 15 minutes straight waiting for someone, anyone to acknowledge multiple clients were here. I guess them chit chatting with each other and showing pictures on their phones behind the glass was more important. First, they said they couldn’t take my young Pomeranian due to their anti-anxiety prescription medication, despite me being a registered vet tech and my dog having been on it their whole life… not to mention the Petco salon at my previous location had no issue with it- they were the ones who initially RECOMMENDED they be put on it during stressful situations, and it ended up being an excellent solution for them that we used going forward. We’ve been going to Petco salon for over two years now (I have two dogs) in our previous location with no issues, until this place. It gets worse; as the convo goes on, the truth comes out that they have overbooked and do not have the space/time for my dog. Absolutely disgusting customer service and LYING to my face- if they had called that morning to say they couldn’t take my dog, I understand- but why wait til I drive hours away and then lie? I wonder what else they are hiding and lying about, now. They could’ve had a long-term client with more than one dogs needing services, but no thanks- I don’t want my furbaby to be another one of Petco’s grooming injury or fatality statistics.

Very clean, helpful staff and surprisingly nice selection of fish!

Great selection and kind staff

We used to go to the Petco Grooming department, but will not be continuing to use their services. Their staff member, Mia is very rude. She talked badly about us as owners with our dog. "I don't know why people like this get these dogs and don't groom them monthly." Turns out, we were able to get him into Petsmart grooming who said he wasn't matted and was able to brush and groom him.

Don't purchase something with cash from this location and expect you will be able to return it without a rude manager making you come back to the store servel times. I refuse to believe that a store doesn't have $224 in cash. But according to the store manager they can't do returns until they have sales. Let's just say because of the way I was treated your company just lost a life long customer.

Even though they ran out of dog food, they were very helpful suggesting alternatives until they had a restock

We always come here specifically for grooming our Aussie, and the groomers are always very nice and cordial. Same day walk-in nail trimming takes usually less than ten minutes, and regular grooming typically takes around three hours. I'm not sure what type of shampoo they use but it smells great on my pupper!

Staff was friendly. Great place to get all your pet needs. They have snakes hamsters birds and fish and ferrets and guinea pigs for sale and some other things.

Lost a customer today. I’ve been taking my dog here for a year now and loved it but the person who usually grooms my dog has left I guess. The new groomer saw my dog was a poodle mix and now all of a sudden he is too matted and needs to be shaved all the way down. That has always been a problem for big business groomers like pet-smart and Petco instead of brushing his fur out it’s faster and more convenient to shave it and I hate that’s they think like that. If I’m paying 70+ dollars plus tip then I don’t understand why brushing is such an issue. Took him to a local groomer and she assured me he didn’t need to be shaved just brushed out more. So I brushed him some more and that was that. He got a cute cut SOMEWHERE ELSE in Charlotte without being shaved. Very disappointed, I’ll give 2 stars for my previous groomer she was awesome

Found what we needed at a reasonable price for not having to wait for something to be shipped to us.

After years of getting my dog groomed at Petco, I had a terrible experience today with the young woman at the grooming section. She was discussing a groom with another woman and after 15 minutes of waiting, I asked if I could be checked in by someone else since she was busy. She told me to wait a minute and that I got here at 9:16 so I can wait. I was late because they changed my appointment time last minute and traffic was bad. I called and they said it was okay, they’d let them know. Then I continued to wait and I asked if I could come back later and she told me not to interrupt her and that she no longer feels comfortable grooming my dog. I wouldn’t want someone unfriendly like her to groom my dog anyways. Not to mention, someone else left a review saying they were neglecting dogs. Disgusting.

Huntersville store is well stocked, easy to shop, and very clean. Pleasure to shop there.
