We brought our maltese in yesterday and were fully convinced we were losing her. I met the worker at the door crying and she was so comforting, I knew our dog was in good hands. They quickly figured out what was wrong with her, kept her overnight, and let us know when they'd call us with updates. The vet on call was informative and answered every question we had. 24 hours later we were picking our dog up to come home (we didn't think that was going to be a possibility the day before). We are so thankful how kind they were to us and Lexi. Highly recommend.

Everyone I spoke to at Triangle was knowledgeable and very friendly! They answer the phone every time you call! You can tell they truly love all of the animals. They saved Sherman’s life!! (Sherman is my cat ????) I can’t thank you all enough and I highly recommend you to everyone! My daughter has taken her 2 dogs here also and had a great experience ???? Thank you!

We visited December 5th and the staff was amazing. Our pup Buddy had phenoumia and had gotten so weak that he could no longer stand on his own to even use the bathroom and his breathing was extremely labored. They helped him pass easily and we're so extremely helpful with putting him in a small box for us to take home for burial. They did a paw print for us and took the time we needed to make it as easy as payable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Horrible experience! While on the phone with this place my vet was told approximately $1000-$1200. We get there and because of covid I can't even meet the vet which I was not told about before hand. I waited 1 1/2 hrs and they estimate was considerably higher. Then, when I go to pick her up the estimate had reached almost $2,000. No phone call to inform me of the additional charges or even ask if it was okay. I had the battle with the office manager and she did bring it down but only to $1,600. On top of it all when I get home the instructions on paper I was given don't even match what was on the bottles of medication. It was so confusing I had to call. The communication(or lack thereof) throughout the whole experience was so unprofessional!

We brought our very sick cat to this location for a weekend (while our regular vet was closed). The doctors were nice and communicative on the phone. Our regular vet team had placed a feeding tube in our cat just two days before and in the brief time he was at Holly Springs Veterinary Referral Hospital, the feeding tube was clogged and he had to go through the entire process of anesthesia and feeding tube placement again. This was quite heartbreaking since he passed only a couple days later. Proper maintenance should prevent this type of issue and it's sad that our cat had to go through this a second time in a short period before his passing. Additionally, our vets had received new information from tests they'd performed on our cat that week, right as we dropped off our cat at TVRH, and we tried to tell as many staff members as possible that the information was sent from our vet via email and we were told it was received. When we picked our cat up at the end of his stay the staff member we talked to said hopefully our vets receive the test results ... I do know our vet sent them the info, but I'm not confident they were using the information to treat him during his stay. It was very confusing.

They saved my dog from deaths door 3 years ago. I still can’t thank the staff enough for how hard they worked on her for days. I see some really bad reviews and I can’t understand them. Those questioning cost - yes emergency care is more but these guys deserve every penny. X-rays and blood work or transfusions are costly but fur babies are part of the family. The work very long shifts and they were still super friendly & allowed us to lay with our girl in a room any time of day we wanted since she took 5 days to recover. I truly can’t express how great all the vets were.

So yesterday, sadly we had to put my dog Marley down. My first dog ive ever had. I called Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital Holly Springs having no clue what i was doing i was a mess. EVERYONE there was so sweet, kind, gentle and just perfect for us during this sad time. They were so gentle with my dog, as we put her on the strecher and they wheeled her back nurse had one hand on marley as she was rubbing her saying its okay comforting her promising me she will be in good hands and back in a flash. Which she didnt have todo but chose to anyways. Then a nice amazing angel God had sent there to help me, she was waiting for her dog to come out and she came in and said excuese me idk what the situation is or anything but can you take 100$ of her bill and charge it to my card. I was already crying but cryed even more after this. Its truly amazing when in a time needed how strangers come together as one for a human being and animal. Hands down i couldnt of asked for the process to go anybetter than it did today thanks to that nice lady who i dont even know, the staff at the animal hospital and i just wanted to say, i pray your not but if ever in a situation as myself and the time happens and you dont know what todo, always go with your gut and dont worry about anything else. Because we did and couldnt be more happier yet sad about yesterday RIP Marley you was the best dog i ever had. By far. I love you so much and cant wait to get you back home and keep you in your memorial forever with me❤

Brought cat to be seen for not eating. Drew labs. Did not give me any results. Gave 13 y/o cat a sub cutaneous fluid bolus and sent us on our way. Turns out cat has Left ventricular hypertrophy. Fluid bolus almost killed him. Had to go to NC vet school emergency. Has very noticeable heart murmur. I guess they didn't listen to his history or heart sounds.

Take your animal to the emergency vet in Cary. This place only cares about price gouging and making money. The fees are astronomical. They take advantage of folks who are in emergency situations with their animals.

They would not treat our unresponsive pup until they made sure the $500.00 deposit was good. 20 minutes gone. They are worthless folks who care more about their money than the pets well being. It’s pathetic too say the least. And if you disagree. Ur are In the same boat.

If you want a veterinary practice that cares more about money than your pet, take them here. If you want a practice that takes advantage of false hope to collect as much as they can, take them here. Practices like this are the reason so many pet owners have to make hard decisions. Of course they should make a profit, but when you are provided with 50/50 odds for severe pancreatitis in a dog, when published survival rates are 15 percent, it’s pretty easy to see what’s going on here. Our bill went from a provided quote of $4k, to 8k in one day with no change in treatment plan. Avoid this place at all cost.

This is my go-to place now! I went here last night when my dog tore her dew claw. They were awesome! The vet techs were great, very sweet and professional, and wound up being able to take care of it on their own without sending me to the vet. Saved me so much time and money. That's great customer service. I wish this is where I had taken my previous dog when she had emergency health issues.

As many other reviews stated, if I could l give 0 stars I would. Our poor dog was experiencing nausea and vomiting so we rushed him to this emergency clinic. We thought he had eaten a poisonous mushroom because we saw one with a bite out of it and observed his symptoms of his body trying to get something out. We rush him to the clinic, tell them what happened and bright them the mushroom in a Ziploc. We waited outside (COVID) even though they said we should leave as it would take time. We get a call outlining pricing for blood work and evaluation which we pay because our pup was so sick and we wanted care as fast as possible to save his life. We would have been better off driving somewhere much further out. They told us his blood work has some spikes which they attributed to his old age. The vet grilled us on whether we actually WITNESSED our dog eating the mushroom, and since we didn't, he says we can't assume that he did based on his symptoms. He said there was nothing they could do with the mushroom we brought in as calling a poison hotline would require a long time waiting on hold and he doubted they'd be able to identify the mushroom or provide any helpful info for treatment. He said worst case scenario our dog had a 'bad tummy ache, and sent us home. The next day our dog, continued to not eat, continued retching as there was nothing on his stomach to throw up and overall had a severe drop in function. We rush him back, pay AGAIN for blood work and examination only to be told (by a different vet because they rotate vets from surrounding hospitals coming in to treat) that the level of toxicity he then had was so high that some of their medicines couldn't register. His organs were failing. The whole traumatic experience ended with us having to put our pup down because of their FAILURE TO ACT when we brought him in the first time. Had they taken us seriously and not been afraid of the poison hotline, he might have been saved. The absolute disgust I feel after this interaction with this clinic cannot be overstated. IF YOUR PET IS SICK, KEEP DRIVING RIGHT PAST THIS PLACE AND TAKE IT ELSEWHERE

So my dog had minor surgery by my vet on Tuesaday with internal suture and glue by Saturday it was opening. Sent photo to my vet and they said I should go to emergency clinic to have staples put in. Went to this clinic after calling ahead and sending details from my vet. Was charged $185. Never saw or spoke to vet. Vet tech said he looked at it and wanted to sedate and suture. My dog had already had a sedation this week and did not want another. This vet doesn’t believe in staples. My vet would have put the staples in in five minutes and sent us home. Vet tech said doctor believes staples do not hold. All I know is we have had nothing but success with staples and when I got my aortic valve replaced at Duke Hospital they sent me home with staples and I did just fine. Never again. My vet recommended another place but they were 6 hours out and this place said they would see us right away. That all changed when we got there. Vet tech upped the bill and sad if we didn’t like it we could just let it heal as is. I will take her back to our vet on Monday for staples. As I said never again.

There is a special place in hell for the owner(s) of what is nothing than a new version of the old Title Loan companies that were outlawed for their loan sharking ways. It's nothing but a charade cha·rade, noun - an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance, including referring to their office staff as "nurses"! The first two vets that we dealt with seemed like genuinely concerned people and were not pushing any big $$$$$ agendas. That all went out the window once the "internal medicine doctor" stepped in. I will opine no longer - I am sure that even Helen Keller would find my points crystal clear.

Our beloved lab of 12 years passed away in our home. I called and spoke with the receptionist who was so kind and patient with me throughout my tears. Within an hour of leaving our house we were home. We took her to get her cremated, the staff (receptionist) was efficient, calm, and extremely patient with us and our questions. We were weary of coming here at first because of a COUPLE ONE star reviews but our time with them was smooth and as painless as possible. Thank you for caring for a baby and making sure our transition was seamless. Lots of love.

My experience here was HORRIBLE. My dog was brought to this place. Due to covid I was not allowed inside. I told them that my dog was just laying around and tilting his head. They took my Dog to the back wirhout me. When they called me (I was sitting OUTSIDE in my car) they said they could not see anything physically wrong with him his checkup was good. They start to talk about getting blood work and all sorts of other miscellaneous charges. They were talking about $800. I thought it best to bring him to his regular vet. So I pay the $235 bill and go home. Take my dog to his vet the next day and would you believe it, he has an ear infection. ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! ME WHAT THE HECK DID THEY CHECK ON HIM FOR 235?!?!

If I could possibly give this place zero Stars I would. This practice is a thievery and they make me sick the way they take advantage of pet owners. I take our Great Dane up there because she had minor puncture wounds after an altercation with another dog. There's no muscle damage no nerve damage no nothing it was just skin tears however they were large enough to need sutures. We used to take our Danes to vass where they have a excellent 24-hour vet service for emergency situations. However we just moved about an hour from there and like 40-45 min from this awful place. Within 10 minutes of waiting outside I got a phone call stating it would be between $700 and $800 no more than $800 but the minimum would have to be paid up front immediately before any procedures could even be done. I then got several mixed phone calls and visits outside saying oh it would be 3 hours, now would be 4 hours, well it only be an hour, it's going to be 2 hours, and finally I was told to just go home because it would be another 4 hours. I drove 45 minutes home to be called 15 minutes later and said that my Dane was ready to be picked up. Drove 45 minutes back just to be told it was going to be $1,100. When originally they said 7 to 800 at the most, they gave me no reason why the bill was $350 over what they quoted me in the first place. But they don't release your dog to you until you pay the remaining balance even though that's not what they quoted you. I would never ever suggest this place to anybody they don't care about what they're doing, this is horrible business practice I wish I would have read all the reviews about the same situation that I ran into before I decided to come here. I would much rather drive the 20 extra minutes to vass and not have to pay the outrageous amount of money that this thievery is trying to take from you. They're taking advantage of pet owners and the fact that most dogs do not have insurance and know that you either pay or you don't get your animal back. These people are wrong they know they're wrong and I feel bad for the employees of this place that are working here that are getting the bad name that this service is producing. You don't care about the animals you don't care about the owners of the animals all you care about is filling your filthy pockets. And the greatest thing about this is the only time they replied to anybody on Google reviews is when they get four and five stars you guys make me sick.

Our Great Dane became nauseous late on a Sunday night. They were the closest hospital to us that had Dane experience. With in moments of wheeling her thru the doors the called us (no one allowed in because of covid) saying they x-rayed her quickly and confirmed bloat. While we expected it, the diagnosis was awfully quick. This was our baby and we had decisions to make, all the while dollar signs are being talked about by the receptionist. The doctor on the other hand was caring but short and to the point. Since this was unexpected we squared up that night and paid cremation fees early Monday morning. 9 days later we get a call asking what we were going to do with our babies remains, however those were not the words used. Gotta say we are extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism all the way down to bookkeeping. Absolutely no reason for our baby to have been left there that long when everything had been taken care of!

If I could give negative stars I would. Took our pup inside away from us because of Covid we couldn’t be with him. They held him in “icu” which is code name for cage. Called us on the phone and started telling how dr would be 2-3 hrs and we needed to deposit 700 dollars! Extortion artists. Wasted precious time while our pup was sick. Insisting on prepaid diagnostic blood work before a dr could even assess. We left and a real veterinarian gave him an IV and nausea med.

I’m giving them 5 stars! We didn’t call before going because we weren’t sure of the name but they took our fur baby right in as soon as we arrived! They took excellent care of her. I called today to have them send the report over to our regular vet & that was taken care of, as well. I have to say, they’re on top of it! Thank you for taking such great care of our princess for the second time! Very efficient, very professional! I highly recommend them!

Keep your receipt, I went here 2/27/20 and paid at that time, they say i didnt pay and sent to collections i paid it again on 5/9/20 to get out of collections and kept my receipt they denied getting second payment also. Then in Oct 2020 we had to wait in car to pay before we got dog back again they deny we paid. This place is so unorganized. Overcharging and double charging. My account still in collections despite paying same bill 3x.

We found ourselves at TVRH on a holiday Monday, July 5th, after vet recommendation. Previously we patronized the ER in Cary, now known as Blue Pearl. TVRH is still practicing covid restrictions (as are most if not all EVC facilities) which was tough. Not being with your fur child in a time of distress is taxing on them and humans alike. Considering how busy they were, they got our dog Sadie in and stabilized quickly. After xrays were taken and reviewed, they revealed the worst. A tumor in her lung. At her age of 14, the kindest thing we could do was let her go. These findings aren't easy to relay to pet parents face to face, much less over the phone. Dr. Jessica Cooper was amazing. Her genuine compassion and honesty were felt via phone. Her detailed explanation let us know every available option had been explored. We scheduled an at home appointment for the next day to transition Sadie across rainbow bridge. Dr. Cooper made sure we had all meds necessary to keep her comfortable until then. With the pandemic taking its toll on everyone, I just wanted to extend a heart-felt thank you for taking care of not only Sadie, but her parents too. We were given everything needed to have confidence in taking her home to transition with family, and to make that decision period. Please know how grateful we are to you and the entire staff. You are appreciated.

Fabulous staff! My truck and phone died while waiting for them to save my Babycakes; they were so very caring as to offer water, ashley let me use her personal cell phone to make calls to tow trucks and auto services that could help me, Julie used her personal vehicle to try to jump my truck, they offered me water and to stay inside the lobby even though its closed because it was hot outside. All I can say is wow! They were amazing!!! And, best yet, they saved my dog! :) Love you guys!!!!

My dog was experiencing vomiting and bloody diarrhea. I called and the lady who took my information told me the cost and that this was emergency services before any questions about my dog. She told me they would be able to see my dog but it would be around 4-5 hrs but I can come and they would take him into triage and we can run errands etc. (also stay by the phone because the doctor will call). I drove from Morrisville to Holly Springs just for the nurse to tell me that I would need to wait in my car 2-3 hours before they would come get him!!!! I explained to her what I was told over the phone and she just kept saying that they are emergency service and only take critical animals in immediately. Not only was this a waste of time and gas! My poor dog had to endure a 60 minute round trip drive and get no help! Good news I s my vet was able to squeeze him in tomorrow and I didn’t have to waste money with inconsiderate people!

My poor, little boy was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. He was not eating or drinking, was very, very weak and dehydrated. I rushed here after taking him to his regular vet. The ladies here were very helpful and friendly. The doctor called and went over all of our options and pricing options as well. They did a few treatments on him and he looked so much better when I took him home. He was even wagging his tail! I started him on his meds and that night, he started eating chicken and rice. The next morning, he woke up and went straight to his toys to play. He is doing 100% better and is back to himself. Thank you to everyone who helped us!

1 Star for minimum required stars. 1 Star for collective kindness of the staff I spoke to. -3 Stars because I feel that you were not upfront or honest about your pricing. When I called because of my cats emergency (he swallowed string and had vomit twice), I was advised that they'll want to do a x-ray, which will cost roughly $300-350 (which it did). They asked me if this was okay and I said of course. This was the only fee ever disclosed to me at any time before or during my visit, up until I was charged. I would later find that this x-ray fee is _on top of_ a $100 emergency fee and a $70 examination fee. They called me about an hour later and told me that my cat was not cooperating with the x-ray and asked if I would approve a mild sedative to calm him down. Nobody mentioned any cost. I said yes, assuming that if a vet can't settle an animal down for a necessary procedure, that giving them something to calm them down is an obvious necessity that's considered part of the procedure. I guess not. I was charged nearly $26 to give my cat Ketamine. They also gave my cat fluids, which was never discussed with me, and then charged me $60 for them, and some sort of injection which I wasn't aware of until I saw the invoice, to the tune of $26. Top it all off with an $8 biohazard fee for (something?). Why am I paying to dispose of YOUR bio-waste? That should be included in the cost of doing business. All in all, I feel that I was sold an expectation of paying about $350. I'm a new pet owner, so, perhaps naively, I assumed that within a reasonable range of accuracy that I would pay what I was told I would pay. However, upon arrival to pick up my cat I'm told that I owe $624.71, nearly double the ONLY dollar figure I was ever given. At the end of the day, I didn't really have a choice, did I? They have possession of my best friend, and the only way I'm getting him back is to give them $624.71. I expressed all of this frustration on the phone and was told that its all pretty standard, and then upon returning my cat the nurse talked to me about it again and said she wanted to make sure I was happy. I told her I was obviously not happy, took my cat, and left. To me it's less about the money. My cat is a member of my family and I'll do what is necessary for him. However, I believe in transparency in billing, and I feel that I got none here.
