Horrible service! Will not be returning. I went Into the store yesterday to buy two fish but the “cashier” refused to give me both. When I did receive the fish he complained the entire time and gave me a fish bag with a hole in it. My fish luckily is safe now but the way he threw it in the bag made me almost cry! Just because I’m under 18 does not give you the right to deny me service. I have had plenty of fish in the past and will not seek for undereducated help! I’m highly furious with the behaviour of a grown adult, children act better than he did. Again, the service at this store is horrible both times I’ve been there, would not recommend.

We bought an engraved dog tag for our new puppy and the FIDO machine would not take the code printed illegibly on the register receipt. We spent 30 mins and finally a store associate noticed us and could read the code either. He refunded and replaced and got a new code. Entire.process took 50 mins which we didnt have.

The staff were very helpful finding the right dog food we were looking for. They had a lot of open cages in their fish, reptile, and other pet section which was a huge disappointment for my son who loves to see all the animals.

Great place to buy fish and fish supplies from. Great customer service and advice when you need it especially if you are new to having fish and stuff. I highly recommend this place and will be coming here more to buy more fish and fish supplies from them.

So I never go to the Petco; however, I’ve stopped there twice the past two nights (Holly Springs store), quickly. Both items I’ve purchased have been more in store than what it lists online and they end up “price matching”. *You have to ask for this.* I can understand price matching from another business, but this is a sketchy business practice, to me, for your own store. Please be sure you’re looking online for pricing before you go, if you shop at Petco.

I love this location a go here frequently as I have a lot of petd. I also bring my dog, which it is very dog friendly. They have a good selection of products and so far I have found everything I have been looking for.

Cashier wouldn’t speak and also I repeated I wanted to use my rewards and guess what… he didn’t listen. Seems like there no good customer service anywhere these days. First and last time I’m stopping at this particular petco.

The service I received was fine. There was a gentleman who helped me in the cat food aisle. I was disappointed about how the customer in front of me was treated. It was a boy, about 13 or so who purchased a Halloween outfit for his small dog. He bought it 10 minutes prior and it was too big. He and his mother came back to exchange it for a smaller size and they wouldn't let him do it because the cashier (who was new) didn't give him a receipt and he paid cash without his Petco card. They kept saying "that was the policy". I understand that..but it was 10 minutes and it was the same cashier. Just switch it. Poor kid got yelled at by his mom when they left because the outfit was like $25.

There was a sick hamster and the employee asked ME, ‘what’s wrong with it?’ The hamster was missing half the fur on its face. He also extended his arms to make sure I social distanced even though I was just trying to show him the hamster which he couldn’t even tell he was sick. Horrible employee.

Normal Petco location. I find it a little smaller than average Petco locations, but I usually find what I am looking for. Staff has always been friendly and helpful here.

I arrived 5 minutes before the store closed and was welcomed into the store as warmly as I would if the store had just opened. Excellent staff regardless of the time you walk through the door.

Horrible grooming experience. I will preface this by noting that I used to go to Petco in Cary. I loved the groomer there, but he left so I needed to find a new place. We initially tried to book with other salons in Apex, but appointments were booked out 4-5 weeks. There is a reason this Petco has availability, the groomers don't have their act together and do a terrible job!!! My mom and I brought our two Shih Tzus in, my mom want as fas as printing off a photo of the dog after a good haircut and left it with the inept groomer at 9:30 am. We were very specific about how we wanted the dogs to look. It's a hot climate so we wanted them short all over. When we dropped the dogs off, all the groomer seemed to care about was upselling us things like nail grinding. We never got a call to pick the pups up. I tried to call the store and no answer. We drove over to pick up the dogs, arrived at 3 pm. You'd think that after the dogs spent hours at the store, they'd look great. We were told us the dogs were uncooperative and that's why they left the face long. The dogs looked shaggy and messy. Our one dog, who is a very docile animal, is not hard to groom. I know since I do touch up trims on them between visits to the salon. It's more like nobody wanted to take the time needed to trim her. I asked for a lion tail, it looked like a mess. It looked like someone shaved the dogs bodies, but didn't trim much of anything. We had waited another ten minutes to pick up the dogs because the groomer was on the phone trying to sell services to another client. I was browsing recent Google Reviews today, I see another customer complaining about this Petco too, he had similar issues with the poor hair cut. Not a good experience. I don't recommend. Waste of your time and $. I emailed the store manager a week and a half ago, but never heard back from him either.

I love this petco, but I do want to warn that if anyone has bought any worms/bugs for their lizards since 7/22/21 that they may have ants in them. I noticed some ants crawling in my bearded dragons enclosure just to see they were coming from his food. They were not there before. Now i’m having ant issues with his enclosure and have to fumigate it and get him in a temporary setup.

Went in today looking to make a decision for the direction of my aquarium. Kris was extremely helpful and knowlegeable and helped me decide on a saltwater tank and made sure I had the products I needed. Even helped me get price matching at the register and helped me load up my car. Fantastic experience!

We absolutely love going to Thrive and seeing Dr. Treadaway. We made an appointment today for update on vaccines, but weren't needed, so we saved money with that. We decided to have her seen to check her teeth and her ears.

Horrible. Manger and groomer unprofessional. My dog was fully bath. She started to scratch. I called up there, I asked was my dog put in a clean kettle and do they have fleas. Manger said no dogs have fleas there. How??? Those big dog do go outside. My dog is small and never go outside. They bathed her again. I had to ask use a gentle shampoo. Not the kind use on big dogs. Every dog fur and skin not a lot. I surely will NOT be bring my dog back again.
